Yelp
If we could give 1/2 stars, this would be a 3.5.
We stopped in here on the recommendations
from a coworker who's sister lives in the area.
Around 6:00 PM on a Friday night, we were all
set to fly out the next morning to Disney-world.
Greeting was genuine, friendly and was not a
wait. We were seated and within few minutes
told "we will be right with you". Server was real
and answered all of our questions. No alcohol
was purchased, only Sweet tea by our party. (3)
Wife does not care for BBQ, only Ribs, and that
was too heavy for this visit. She got the Salmon
(again, went here based on recommendations)
my MIL got a loaded Potato w/ Chicken, and at
last myself got the Burnt Ends with some fries.
We were sitting there talking about our plans
for the vacation starting the next morning, &
waitress comes back to say "Out of Salmon".
(Did I mention this was a Friday and only 6P)
Wife was disappointed, mainly cause this is
the only reason we came in there that night.
Asked waitress between Voodoo Pasta, and
the Pork-chops which was recommended?
Waitress said she preferred the pasta, and
my wife likes spicy anyways, so she got that.
Food comes out relatively fast, which is plus
anywhere these days, and now the reviews.
Wife's Voodoo Pasta was decent, not a show
stopper, and was not what she called spicy...
Loaded Chicken Potato was cold, and had to
be sent back to Kitchen. Not the fault of the
wait staff, but throws off our experience due
to now one person has to wait on their food.
Second attempt was good, she ate most of it,
and said it did have good flavor. It was great.
Burnt Ends w/ Fries, was actually a sandwich,
so I misread it obviously, since I thought that
it came with Texas Toast, not on the toast. It
was pretty good, but I needed to drown this
in sauce. In my opinion, flavor supposed to
be the star, and it fell just a little short of it.
Would we go back, maybe, but only if they
had the Salmon when we walked in doors.
So that's going to knock our chances down.
