Excited to share memphis seoul reviews, it’s like a Korean feast with Southern twist. This place is all about fast casual vibes and incredibile menu, Bowl, platters, sandwich - you name it, they’ve got it! For the protein-Fried catfish, Bulgogi meatloaf, Fried Chicken, pulled pork and even Jackfruits for the vegans. This spot is the haven for all things spicy and fried, they got incredibile sauces, from the fiery kick of the chicken to the bold flavors of the bulgogi, you won’t be disappointed. The vibe at this spot is just perfect. Laid back and welcoming with a friendly staff.

Got a chicken sandwich to go and it was pretty delicious! I will say that the interior of the restaurant felt a little dirty, the tables had crumbs on them and needed to be wiped down, lots of employees crowding the walkway, and idk it just felt like the whole place needed a good scrub; it didn’t feel so dirty I was afraid of sanitary food conditions but definitely something to consider. Service was good, nothing above and beyond. For a good 11$ sandwich in NY, I was happy.

Interesting Southern fast food with a Korean twist now available in @getmemphisseoul at their East Village location. A good option for a quick eat, and a cool fusion idea!

I stopped in here for lunch yesterday for their 5th anniversary!!..shoutout once again to Memphis Seoul!!. The free bun giveaway had ended when I got there but it is what it is!. I got two BBQ pulled pork buns and a BBQ pulled pork bowl! Both of which were awesome!!. The wait wasn’t long either which is a plus!. I can’t wait to come back and try the bulgogi meatloaf!!.

It was just fine. Worth trying but nothing spectacular. Ramen mac and cheese was interesting, the fried chicken bowl was a bit boring

Delicious sauces and the cheese ramen was a fun spin on a classic. Loved the fired chicken and meatloaf buns! Glad to have them in EV.

This is a tasty addition to the East Village! The two fried chicken thighs I got were outstanding - VERY crispy, moist and flavorful. I really liked the Gangnam dipping sauce on the side, which added some heat. The Kollard Greens were great too, smoky. Service was very friendly, and the food came within a few minutes. Nothing fancy about the setting, but it was clean and an excellent place to sit and watch the always colorful 1st Avenue street traffic. Can’t wait to try the catfish on my next visit!

Yelp
Always down to try new places. We were walking around and saw this restaurant and it just opened for the day. The food looks appetizing so we ordered: -bulgogi meatloaf bun -ramen n cheese It was okay and I'm happy I tried it but wouldn't go back. The ramen and cheese was spicy if you're into it but it didn't taste like anything else. Wasn't cheesy and it just like regular ramen. It was $12 for both and was small.

Yelp
The salads are super fresh. I have tried their jackfruit salad which is flavored so well. The cooked jackfruit comes on a bed of greens with a cabbage slaw, pickled cucumbers and a sunny side up egg. So delicious. The highlight of the place is the excellent customer service. My friend and I were there last week on a Monday evening about 30 min before closing. Then 15 min before closing, this big group of 10 or so friends showed up. Janelle, who was working behind the counter, was super nice and kept the place open past closing so the large group along with me and my friend could sit and enjoy ourselves. She even came and bussed our table even though she didn't have to. I was blown away by the customer service. I have been back since (yesterday and also today). There were some hiccups with the POS system but Janelle made it right. I had the catfish bun and catfish salad. I love the batter used for the catfish. It's very tasty. This is a great neighborhood spot!

Yelp
I regret ordering a fried chicken steamed bun. Expensive small and gross. Ruined my day frankly

Yelp
The ramen 'n cheese and korean cornbread were familiar but fun, with the inclusion of Korean ingredients and spices playfully spicing up the two side dishes I ordered. The customer service was impressive too; I came for takeout in close to closing and a large party was dining in the restaurant. The individual working at the front was working very hard to balance bussing out the food for the dining in customers while taking and managing my takeout order all with a smile.

Yelp
Prices may seem cheap but their portions are pretty lacking in the protein department. It's a complete disservice to call this fusion food. The owner and chefs seemingly have no connection to korean food other than they ate kimchi before . This disconnect is extremely obvious in the food. It's like sprinkling tajin on pasta and calling it Italian Mexican fusion. Their lack of knowledge regarding korean food really shows in many ways but the most egregious was the rice. They use a type that's not even in east Asia. Gimmicky place that's clearly just trying to take advantage of the rise in popularity of korean food/culture over the years. Fusion food is tough to pull off because it requires mastery in two different cuisines and Memphis Seoul pulled off neither.

Yelp
Got the steamed buns (pulled pork, fried catfish and fried chicken) and a jackfruit sandwich. Everything was great. Catfish for the win for me.

Yelp
New spot in east village. Staff was very helpful and friendly service was great . I had chicken tenders and cheesey ramen . Both were excellent and tator tots and chicken sandwich was also very good . Great dipping sauces will definitely be back food was fresh and not greasy
