Gov. Newsom Signs Bill That Eases Restrictions on Home-Cooked Foods | Eater LA

"I've seen Comedor Tenchita cited as an example of the private, residence-based pop-up scene that has grown since 2020 in greater Los Angeles; these home-kitchen pop-ups are currently thriving and the passage of AB 1325 could bolster their ability to operate and earn more." - Mona Holmes

Menchita's was such a sweet surprise the food felt like it was made with love seriously every bite was packed with flavor I had the empanadas and wow they were crispy outside and so juicy inside The place isn’t fancy but it has that homey vibe that makes you wanna stay longer Staff was super warm and welcoming like you’re part of the family Portions are generous prices are fair and the drinks were spot on Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area

Food was very flavorful. Different flavors and textures on one plate. Cannot wait to go again.

One of my favorite spots. I love their breakfast, pupusas, and tamales, fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and the prices are super reasonable. Just a great Salvadoran place all around.

Food 10|10 can't complain about it. Really bad ambiance since there's not music, tables are too close from each other. Service was my thing. I leave three stars because a Beautiful, green hair young woman came to check on us, she saved the whole experience. But The person who originally took our order should take some customer service course since that was very bad. No smiling, no good manners and to top it off not even an "Enjoy your Meal" after she dropped it. I didn't appreciate that. If you come here, expect to be treated like a thing and not like someone. I am not coming back ever again.

On a Sunday, this backyard-style spot serves authentic Oaxacan barbacoa that tastes like it came from grandma’s kitchen. The down-to-earth vibe made it feel more like dinner at someone’s home than a restaurant. The flavors are deep and soulful, especially the barbacoa. Portions are generous and prices are fair. It’s a neighborhood gem

My friend and I went here earlier today and they gave her a pupusa she didn't order. In addition, we took a pupusa home and there was a fly in the pupusa. This is beyond gross and unsanitary. I'm never returning to this place.

The waiter welcomed me very well with a big smile. The inside is very nice and clean with loud music and big wall pictures. The food is Salvadoran cuisine. So it took me a couple of days to get used to the various dishes. The one dish that surprised me was where you are served a ‘lake’ of soup - SOPA DE RES

Delicious authentic food and coffee. Friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Food comes out slow but worth the wait.
