Look for franguinho da guia, a butterflied, aggressively grilled baby chicken sour and fragrant with lemon and chilli, or its baby cousin frango passarinho, a more Brazilian preparation fried after being marinated in lime, salt, and garlic. Had an absolutely amazing meal at Mendes Sheepwalk. The medium-rare steak was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It came with beautifully roasted potatoes, fresh vegetables that tasted genuinely fresh, and an incredible gravy that tied everything together perfectly. You can really tell care goes into the cooking here. Easily one of the best steak meals I’ve had — can’t wait to come back!

Great price for what you get. Staff are always lovely and accommodating. Nothing is a problem for them. It's no frills but the food is really good and wholesome. Can be busy but that adds to the atmosphere and shows how popular the place is. You won't leave here hungry. The front has a small bar and a pool table. They sometimes have a DJ (pop) and there is also a jukebox.

Really good food, very nice wines with normal prices. Portuguese cuisine which is very rare in this area. We are sure to be back and try something else.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and presented beautifully. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of both the service and the food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nothing but an amazing experience! The best Portuguese cuisine I have had in a longtime in London. Everything was fresh and authentic. Hands down to the owner and his son for running such a pleasant establishment! Very very accommodating and a great laugh! Will definitely be returning and perhaps making it my new local. :)
