Wow. What a fabulous experience at Mendocino Farms on Fillmore in Denver. Right from the moment we interned the space, we were greeted by such a positive hostess who gave us guidance on how the ordering works and some of the popular menu items. The food was extremely fresh. Our bowls were cold...just how we like them. High end and high quality ingredients. So delicious. And the space is well lit and vibrant. Amazing experience! 5 x 🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗

Stopped by Mendocino Farms in downtown Denver and was seriously impressed. As we walked by, we noticed people enjoying fresh-looking salads and sandwiches, so we decided to give it a try. The space is open and welcoming, the staff beyond friendly, and the menu is full of diverse, healthy options—sandwiches, soups, and salads for every craving. We ordered a goat cheese and cranberry almond salad along with a grilled veggie sandwich on ciabatta, and both were absolutely delicious. With so many Mendocino Farms locations around, it’s definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re nearby.

Delicious! The staff (Kris J.) was extra helpful in making the Green Baja Goddess and suggesting the perfect seasoning choice (vegan ranch + red wine vinaigrette). We will definitely be back!

Nice fast causal place! I got the chicken & prosciutto sandwich— enjoyed it! I was a bit surprised it had a layer of nuts in it so something to keep in mind if anyone has allergies. They have a self service water/ice machine & plastic cups. There are two individual all gender restrooms.

Google
This place is awesome, the service was amazing, the food was delicious, the fresh lemonades are a must try. I had the Chimichurri steak and bacon and a cup of the Lemon chicken Farro soup. I’ll be going back for sure.

Google
Sandwich and salad spot with fresh ingredients and a variety of delicious sauces. Serving sizes seem slightly better with prices being better than Sweetgreens down the street. The staff are generally upbeat, positive and motivated to help, but when it's busy and noisy it can be tough to hear the person taking your order. The menu options are creative and I'll be looking forward to trying new seasonal dishes as they grow

They used the ends of bread to make my boyfriend’s sandwich. Worst experience at a Mendocino farms ever. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this location.

Google
Just amazing. I ate Mendocino Farms all the time when I was living in LA and I’m sooooo happy it’s here in Colorado!!!!! The team is incredible- so kind, lending a helpful hand, and happy to be there. I used to eat the study of heat sandwich which is no longer on the menu but the turkey avo salsa verde sandwich is close!!! Tasty! The avo quinoa salad is my second fav! So happy this is here(:

Yelp
Was in the are for the Cherry Creek Holiday Market - which was very disappointing . . . But then stopped in for a bite - for the good, the salad and sandwich were great flavor! For the not so good, the sandwich itself was ~$15 and didn't include a side and was on the average size, so not a great value. . . Also, service was so sloooow . . .People that came in, ordered after us were almost finished eating by the time we got our food . . I'm feeling generous, so I'll give 'em 4 stars, but really would go toward the 3.5 range . .

Yelp
Food is always good and super healthy. My go-to is the Thai Mango Salad with dressing on the side (honestly, you don't need the dressing for a flavorful salad). I haven't had any bad experiences so far in the 4 times I've visited for work trips. I would give it a 4.5/5 overall. I've also had their green drink, which is their green veggie blend on tap. It's good, it does the job for you to get the greens you need and refillable which I think is quite worth it for $4. They're generally quick with taking orders. Preparation takes a bit of time depending on the time of day. At lunch, the place is packed and can take about 20-30 minutes to get your order. It's also nice to see that most of the workers seem to get along quite well / are friendly compared to the San Francisco locations I've been to. The space is open and welcoming for the most part, except for when there is a long line with nowhere to really go or stand. There is a fair amount of seating, but it's also usually quite full at lunch, so if you want to sit and eat, you would have to come before or after the lunch rush.

Yelp
Pretty good second experience, however the ordering process was less smooth. We were not given a number or anything, but that didn't stop them from bringing our order to our table. My hubby and I initially got two separate sandwiches but when he offered a bite of his sandwich to start, I couldn't say no! I immediately said "we should do half & half" and he did not disagree. Wonderful solution! The pictures make the sandwiches look small, but we were both satisfied. The flavors are excellent, too! We'll be back, no question!

Yelp
Always delicious, clean food. On a recent visit my Sweetheart and I ordered two separate sandwiches but ended up going halfsies. The prosciutto chicken is absolutely delicious. Flavors that work so well together you want another one. I must say her vegan banh mi was quite tasty as well. It had a heat and spiciness to it that made you want to keep going back for that next bite. The ambiance of the space is good. The staff on both of our visits pleasant and efficient. On our first visit (which granted was on a busier day in the summer) was well communicated, we knew what to expect from cashier to table. On our last visit we were left wondering when or who would bring our food and if they'd know where we sat but alas for nothing as all went well and smooth. I'd highly recommend Mendocino Farms for a fairly quick bite whenever you're in Cherry Creek North!

Yelp
Trying to decide if it's a blessing or dangerous that Mendocino opened a block from our house... perhaps both? We've come here (and done take out) for lunch and dinner multiple times since they've opened and have been pleased each and every time. While dining in, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The decor is bright and fun and seats are comfy with a variety of table setups. We brought our stroller and had no issue parking it at one of the tables. Now, the food - yum! We've tried a number of different items now and each has been a thumbs up. For salads we've had the Green Goddess, Thai Mango (my personal favorite), and Peach + Goat Cheese. For sandwiches we've had the Peruvian Steak, Not So Fried Chicken (my fave), Turkey Avocado, Peach + Prosciutto, Chicken Parm Dip (husband's choice), and Prosciutto + Chicken. For sides, we've tried the potato salad and the real star... Curried couscous. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong. Lastly, the lemonades are yummy (we mix the classic and the guava) and the green drink is a tasty option with a bit more health to it. Welcome to the neighborhood, Mendocino! We're thrilled you're here.

Yelp
Great lunch spot in Cherry Creek. Super friendly staff. The food came fast. The chicken parm dip was great. My husband said it had "crunchy things" that were very good. I had the chimichurri steak sandwich. It was so good it needed more meat. I'll try something else next time. But I'll 100% be back.

Yelp
I'm from California so you know I've been waiting for this moment. Mendo, in Denver. FINALLY! My friends and I all popped in this weekend. It was busy but we found a table no problem. We all ordered different items and every single person was satisfied by their meal. I had the peach and goat cheese salad. Hot citrus honey dressing was to die for! Everything was so fresh. I devoured the entire plate. Next up - the lemonades. I honestly tried all three, couldn't help it. Pomegranate mint was my favorite, then guava, then the greens one. But truly all were remarkable. Service was great! Cashier was kind. They brought our food out, checked on us, and cleared our table promptly as people finished. Restaurant was clean and bright. We will absolutely be back! What a treat to finally have a Mendocino farms out here in Denver.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
This review is solely for a takeout experience for a sandwich and side, so i can't speak to an in-restaurant experience. I ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich and the pickles and dill potato salad to-go. The steak sandwich was okay, but just a bit salty and therefore tough to eat in one sitting. The potato salad was very heavy on the pickle and vinegar taste so if you're not into that, i wouldn't recommend. Overall, the food was okay. I'd definitely give it one more chance and try the salads to see if maybe those fit my tastes better but the two things i did try personally didn't blow me away. Parking is street parking which is always a toss up in cherry creek but luckily i was able to find a spot easily. Also it should be noted the staff member i spoke to was so kind and accommodating!

Yelp
Me and my partner were delighted to see that this California-based chain that we love is making its way to Colorado. We visited the brand new Mendocino Farms in Cherry Creek to get our favorite salads and were crossing our fingers that the food quality and taste would match what we remembered from the Cali locations. I'm happy to report that my favorite, the avocado and quinoa salad, tastes exactly the same. We also had the new Baja Green Goddess salad, which was excellent. Despite having opened just a few days ago, the place was packed when we visited. As such, the orders were moving a bit slower than you would expect. However, I was glad to see that the staff was keeping their cool amidst the craziness and that care was still being taken to ensure the food quality was good. The location looks very similar to other Mendocino Farms, with the welcome addition of a mural with Colorado's signature mountains in the background.

Yelp
Dear Mendo, Thank you so much for coming to Denver so that we can enjoy your inventive and delicious sandwiches and salads. Since leaving California I could only dream about the Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich, it is now a reality. By far my favorites: Not so Fried Chicken Sandwich. Contrast of pickled onions and crispy bits with perfectly cooked chicken and fixins' Chimichurri Steak and Bacon. The name describes it all - what is not to love in that it comes in sandwich form Chicken Parm Dip. A hug in your stomach - caution, a nap may be needed afterwards. They also have an evolving menu of salads that are seasonal and delicious. They have home made lemonades that taste fresh squeezed. The service thus far is impeccable and the cute cow theme with fake grass is also fun. Sincerely, Yelper

Yelp
The customer service here is pretty outstanding. I walked in, and was slightly overwhelmed with the amount people in the restaurant. I checked the two big shelves, where they place completed online orders, and my order wasn't ready yet. There's a person checking orders, time, communicating with customers and the kitchen - which is really awesome to see. She was also running the food to tables. She checked on my order, and told me it would be another 10 min, and offered me a beverage (I declined). I placed my online order at 12:27, arrived at 12:50, and received my salad at 12:59, so right within when I was told it would be ready. There's also plenty of seating if you want to enjoy your food there. The salad itself was really good. I ordered the sweet peach and goat cheese salad - which comes with chicken, goat cheese, peaches, honey roasted almonds, pickled red onions (removed these), shaved fennel, fresh mint, romaine, kale, mixed greens, and a farmhouse vinaigrette on the side. It was very fresh and delicious. I will absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Two visits. Relatively new restaurant in Cherry Creek North. A clean and modern interior but has a franchise feeling and look. As to service, you order at a counter and a server will bring you your food. Wasn't sure who was expected to take the dishes off the table so we delivered them to an area which seemed appropriate. Drinks are offered in a paper cup or a bottle. So what do I recommend as to food based on 2 visits - that's an easy question to answer. Order the salads. Not a lot of choices but a decent variety to choose from. The salads were good, tasty, and very fresh. They are not the usual and expected salads. The 4 stars are based on comparable restaurants. If you expect 4 or 5 star service or an elegant, quiet dining atmosphere this isn't your best choice. However, the cost won't surprise you and they have good food.

Yelp
Very excited have a Mendocino Farms in Cherry Creek! The food was good, but you would expect it to be a little bit better since it just opened and the service was good but you could tell they had a long couple of opening weeks probably. We'll definitely go there again when I'm in need of a quick meal.
google avatar

Yelp
So glad a Mendocino finally opened in Denver! You order at the counter and seat yourself, so it is pretty casual. However, the staff is still helpful, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the steak sandwich. The mix of chimichuri, aioli, and the onion jam made this sandwich top notch. When I first started eating the sandwich I thought I wasn't going to be full, but it was actually very filling and the perfect size. I can't wait to go back and try other fresh and tasty sandwiches and salads.

Yelp
Stopped by for a chicken pesto caprese sandwich last week. Tasty. Great bread, good amount of the ingredients you would expect to see on the sandwich (by that, I mean that they didn't go light on the chicken, etc.). The main hiccup here is the time to fulfill an in-restaurant order...there's clearly not a station where employees are fulfilling only the orders of the people standing right in front of them. As it stands, if you don't order online/in advance, your order might take 15 minutes. Mine took 12, which I noticed because I was so annoyed that it was taking so long to make a simple sandwich! (For those who do order online, great news: the staff here takes everything in order, so even if you are running 15-20 minutes behind, your order was put into the queue as soon as you made it.) I find that the best restaurants understand when customers are standing in front of you, you prioritize those orders...so, Mendocino Farms has an opportunity there. Otherwise, a pleasant experience.

Yelp
There's a new girl in town--and she's ready to welcome you with open arms and toasted ciabatta. Mendocino Farms has officially made her Colorado debut in the heart of Cherry Creek! This fast-casual spot brings a chef-forward menu packed with fresh, flavorful options. Whether you're gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, or just picky (hi, it's me), they've got something for you. We tried several things, but here are a few of my absolute faves: Best Bites: "Not So Fried" Chicken: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with mustard pickle slaw and Mendo's krispies on toasted ciabatta. Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada: fresh, crunchy, and loaded with texture--this one hit the spot. Spicy Curried Couscous: sweet, spiced, and so satisfying. The roasted cauliflower and carrots were a standout! Check them out soon--you'll be glad you did!

Yelp
Biggggg fan! Its like an elevated Panera bread but better portion sizes, fresher/varied veggies, and GF bread! Between the two of us, split a whole salad and a whole sandwich - perfect! Very kind service and it was packed.
google avatar

Jack A.

Yelp
Amazing service, everyone was super nice and the food was awesome! I think it was Alex who took our order, he helped me choose a sandwich that was AMAZING, the not so fired chicken. Everything we tried was so fresh, so excited this place is here. Will return for sure.

Beatriz B.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance 100% good. 2 people during lunch hr, sandwiches ordered steak chimichurri, pesto caprese and avocado quinoa salad.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. But it was not to be. I got the Thai Mango Salad which came highly recommended. Too bad they used a tasteless, crunchy, unripe mango in mine. The salad looked pretty but was actually rather bland and considering the mango was nothing, it was just a salad. The place has no soft comfortable eating and so for me, being disabled, this is a huge drawback. I used my wheelchair as there would've been no place for me to sit. As it filled up quickly it got louder and louder. With no soft surfaces this was to be expected. Overall: service and staff were excellent, food was just blah, and if you can't handle loud noises or hard seating this is not the place for you.
google avatar

Prasad P.

Yelp
Great food at a great price! The ingredients felt very fresh and the staff was nice! Would come back next time to grab a quick bite if I'm in Cherry Creek!

Yelp
Delicious lunch at Mendocino Farms! Everything tasted super fresh and you can really tell they focus on quality ingredients. I love the farm-to-table vibe--it feels thoughtful and wholesome. It was definitely busy during the lunch rush, and parking was a little tight, but the food made it well worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for something flavorful, fresh, and satisfying!
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Pricey but fresh and healthier options which is appreciated! I had a free entree with purchase offer so I bought a side of apple kale salad and got the chicken and hummus crunch wrap as my main. I made the smart decision and ordered online, when I walked in the line to order was about 12 people deep so crisis averted! My order was ready early, I didn't have to talk to anyone (just commenting how easier pick up was) and I was on my way. Even though the kale apple salad was a ridiculously small portion, the wrap was enough for two meals. Just like Arnold, I'll be back!
google avatar

Kamryn A.

Yelp
Best salad. My obsession. It's a must eat whenever I am near a Mendocino farm. Had it twice in two days! Super filling, light dressing, and the crunch of the quinoa is fabulous! Always a quick and easy meal
google avatar

Ann H.

Yelp
Happy grand opening day, Mendo! And welcome to Denver!! I don't know why everything you make is so delicious and I'm not even sure how healthy it is but either way, take my money! The employees here are so friendly and helpful and the ingredients seem super fresh. Prices are fairly reasonable too! My only gripe is that the fountain drinks are all way too sweet (with the exception of the unsweetened black tea). I had to add 50% water into my green juice to make it drinkable. Looking forward to many more visits and hopefully more locations in Denver and the surrounding area!

Danielle B.

Yelp
The Avocado & Quinoa Superfood salad was SO good! It was fresh & delicious as well as being a big portion. The food was as fabulous as the service & hospitality by Kris & Jenna Lee. I want to try so many more things on the menu & the service was fast. Such a perfect healthy lunch spot!!
google avatar

Brandon H.

Yelp
Great sandwiches that don't sacrifice flavor for having healthy, clean ingredients. The drinks they have on tap are also great!

Kyle C.

Yelp
I love the Baja salad but tonight they left off the avocado... My favorite part. Services always good and the ingredients are fresh
google avatar

Jim N.

Yelp
Excellent flavors, fresh, and reasonably priced. This was our first visit, I'll guarantee it won't be our last!
google avatar

Patsy G.

Yelp
What can I say? Absolutely fabulous and great taste. The butternut squash soup! The Farm Club was delicious on the best bread ever! Mama Chen's Chinese Chicken Salad was light and delicious, perfect summer salad loaded with flavor. Don't miss the cookies, hemp date are chewy and tasty, chocolate chip awesome. Have been back 3 times and it's all great!
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Used to love Mendocino Farms for their amazing Pork Belly Banh Mi--now it's gone. Seriously, what are you thinking getting rid of the best thing on your menu? Super disappointed. Won't be coming back until it's back. One star.
google avatar

Don F.

Yelp
What a great concept for a restuarant. Fantastic fresh healthy food with enthusiastic employees who greet you the moment you walk in the door. I was there twice in a tw3o day span with my gluten free wife - who had plenty of choices on this menu. I had a sandwich both times - one chicken one beef. Both were out of the park tasty. She had the salads. How I wish I lived clodse to one of these.
google avatar

Mckenna P.

Yelp
The Chicken & Hummus Crunch Wrap exceeded all expectations! I did takeout and even after my drive home it was SO yummy. Also everyone was so friendly and welcoming when I picked up my order. 10/10
google avatar

Samuel L.

Yelp
Hands down the tastiest, freshest, most amazingest salad and sandwich you'll find town. Service was great for a newly opened location, even though it was out-the-door and down-the-street busy!!! The Thai mango salad is the way to go--tell me later if I'm wrong.

Anya M.

Yelp
Really great sandwiches and drinks! Great service, too. And a cute restaurant. I had their Hot Honey, Peach, and Prosciutto sandwich and their mint pomegranate lemonade.
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
I was so excited for us to get a Mendocino Farms here! It's a great spot for sandwiches and salads!

S M.

Yelp
When they first opened we ate here and it was fantastic, we have been back 3 more times and each time the quality has decreased. Less meat in the sandwiches and the salad quality has gone down hill. The cost for lunch is very high so I was disappointed that the quality/amount of food had diminished. On a more positive side the staff is and has remained to be very accommodating & friendly, meals are accurate, timely and it's a great environment for good healthy food with nice gluten free options.

Ellen F.

Yelp
Love the food here! Service is friendly. They're particularly good with to go orders being picked up.

Kathleen A.

Yelp
Okay, I've been here four times in a month. The Thai salad is so delicious and def two meals. The peach sandwich is not to be missed (especially the sesame bun--so tasty and I usually avoid sesame-ed buns).

sister s.

Yelp
Service was amazing, everyone was so welcoming and kind and where even giving compliments. The food was quality and clean and absloutly amazing

Irene G.

Yelp
Phenomenal. Every. Time. Great service, 11/10 food, and it's just a lovely experience every time my fiancé and I come.

Ken T.

Yelp
Phenomenal!!! It's only been open two days and I've already eaten there 3 times!!! My favorite so far is the not so fried chicken sandwich!!!
