I just have to say, I really love everything about this place! I tend to visit during the slower hours because it can get a bit hectic, but that just means I get to enjoy the experience more. Faith is always there to help me, and she’s amazing at finding the perfect item for me. I’ve tried at least 5 or 6 different things, and she always knows just what I’ll like. I really appreciate the pledge they have in place that encourages you to try new things with the reassurance that you can swap it out if you don’t enjoy it. It’s such a fantastic way to get people like me to step out of our comfort zones. The unique flavors they offer keep me coming back for more, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next! Highly recommend giving this place a shot—you won’t regret it!

What a great first time experience at this eatery! I enjoyed the chimichurri steak sandwich and lemon tea... Chefs kiss! I appreciate the helpful staff. I think the manager was walking around to ensure everyone was ok. A must try!

Service was amazing! I ordered the spiced curried couscous (it’s served cold) and the chicken pesto sandwich. It was my first time and it was really good! Feels fresher than Panera but still standard soup and sandwich place. Really loved the outdoor seating area!

I've been going to this place for quite some time now, and I have to say, the food is consistently fantastic. Every dish I've tried has been a hit, and I usually leave satisfied. However, I can't ignore that lately, the wait time has been really frustrating. I’ve tried to beat the rush by ordering earlier, but my food still takes forever to arrive. I totally get it; busy days happen to everyone, but when it starts to feel like a daily issue, it becomes a problem. Unfortunately, this kind of delay just isn’t something I can work with. I want to enjoy my meal without stressing about how long it’s taking. So, for now, I think I’ll take a break until I can trust that my order will arrive on time. On top of that, I've noticed some hiccups in communication among the staff. It’s clear they’re trying, but it seems like they could use a bit more coordination. I hope they can get it sorted out because I'd love to come back when things improve.

This downtown location never disappoints the staff is fast and friendly. They know most by name, they cater to your every need. It's always going to be a grinch in the bunch to give an unwelcoming review. Stay off of here if you have nothing nice to say. When I visit the location they've always went above and beyond my expectations. The food is great and they even created me a sandwich that I asked for it was so good, I am keeping the receipt so I can get it again next week. Faith the little staff worker always seem to please. I have Faith in her she will let you know exactly what's new and what you may would like to try. I love this place and so does my office staff. Keep up the good work team. You all do good work, the place is clean, and the food taste good. I recommend this Two Allen Center location. Go team!!! The folk who give negative responses kick rocks it will always be somebody you can't please. I bet they have been back. That's what's wrong with the world now always got a negative remark. Mendocino Farms keep doing what you do.

I recently visited this spot for the first time, and I was fortunate to be helped by a young lady named Faith. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I was torn between trying the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada and the Watermelon “Poke” Salad. Faith recommended the Avocado & Quinoa, saying it was the #1 item on the menu. She also mentioned that the Watermelon Poke was really good and only available for a limited time, so I decided I'd have to come back for that. The Avocado & Quinoa salad was delicious! It had a great mix of flavors and made for a refreshing meal. I’ve been thinking about that salad since I left. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try the Watermelon Poke Salad that Faith suggested. Overall, a great experience, and I appreciate the helpful service!

I had a fantastic experience at this place! The food was really great, and the service was equally impressive. A young lady named Faith helped me decide on my meal, and I’m so glad I listened to her suggestion for the Sweet Peach and Goat Cheese salad—it was delicious! I loved the flavors and how fresh everything tasted. I’m definitely planning to come back and try her favorite dish, the Peruvian steak. If it’s as good as my salad, I know I won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

The food is great and the staff is great as well. The only trouble I had was how long the wait times had been but now it’s getter better. I really love Mendocino Farms and would love seeing the Farmers Market salad again.

So far I have ordered from here twice for lunch to go, and I loved both of the sandwiches I have tried. The steak chimichurri sandwich is great! I love the flavors. I had the rainbow salad in side. It was fresh and crisp. Then another day I ordered the pesto chicken with the salt chips that come as a side. The chicken breast is thinly sliced and I could use a couple more slices. Out of the two my favorite is the steak. I want to try their salads next!

Mendocino has some very good sandwiches, is very clean, and has friendly workers. Their Happy Hippie is a 5/5 and so refreshing when you're wanting a great combination of veggies. It's also vegetarian btw Their Farm Club is a 4/5, very good but a little too plain for my liking, it comes with pickles red onion but I find that they usually don't put enough on it. Their peach goat cheese salad is a 5/5, very refreshing and a good option if you're not in the mood for a sandwhich. Their chocolate chip cookie is 3/5, it's very hard so microwaving it helps but overall just an average cookie. Lastly, my biggest complaint about Mendo is the wait. We order online for a certain time pick up and always end up waiting 15-20minutes once we get there past our expected pick up time. I wish they would fix their online ordering system to be a bit more realistic because they're always busy.

A GREAT fast-casual option for lunch while working or staying downtown. Service was fast and friendly and the ambience makes for a great working lunch. Highly reccomend!

TERRIBLE. I ordered the mot side fried chicken salad with avocado added and extra chicken. $19 salad. Didn't put on the avocado. No barbecue dressing. All to mention, the salad itself was horrible. The chicken tastes like a foot. I could not bring myself to continue eating it. Horrible. $19 for feet salad.

Do you like your lunch as ordered? Or do you prefer the excitement of lunch roulette? Will the order be correct? Will it be complete? Pay your $20 and spin the wheel of misfortune to find out! This location just cannot get orders right. Extra dressing? Nope. You can't have it. No tomatoes? We'll give you extra tomatoes. Pay extra for gluten free bread? Enjoy this regular roll instead. They have one job and about half the time they just get it wrong. For. Place that rings a bell to make sure all team members know who tips and food that costs a fortune they should get the orders right. They don't.

I'm not a huge soup salad and sandwich fan, if I'm going to go out for lunch I usually want something more than what I can easily make at home. So when my coworker recommended we eat at the new Mendocino Farms I wasn't expecting it to be anything special. We arrived right around 11:45, and there was a good amount of people in line and already seated, waiting for their food. It's counter-order and then they'll bring your food to your table, and my only complaint is that process could be much easier with table numbers, or buzzers, or literally anything other than each employee walking around with a meal, asking each table if they're name is 'Melinda R?' Inside and outside. I ordered the Prosciutto & Chicken Sandwich with the pesto pasta salad, and a house made lemonade. Everything was delicious! I especially loved the lemonades they have- the turmeric lemonade was my favorite! They also had Rosè and regular, plus a few tea options to pick from as well. But the sandwich! That was the star of my meal. Lots of meat, layered with the veggie toppings on tasty toasted bread. It was done perfectly. I can't wait to come back and try other options available, there were so many that looked delicious I think it'll be even harder to choose knowing my first visit was so delicious.

I have yet to try something that I didn't like here. Every time I go, I try to get something new. Food is delicious and fresh with friendly and helpful service. Only down fall is the wait time. I recommend ordering ahead of time and picking up or get there before 11:30 to dine in. It's still a good 15 mins (at least) to receive your food if you dine in.

Love their food and super fresh too. It gets super packed during lunch hours so I suggest ordering online and doing a quick pick up. Must try curried couscous.

This cafe opened downtown a few weeks ago, bringing new lunch options to this end of downtown Houston. I ordered the Sweet Heat Crispy Thai Chicken. I will have to order hotter next time, medium heat gave me nothing. I enjoyed the sandwich, though. Two chicken strips, thai slaw, and sriracha mayo, YUM. The Oaxacan Potato Salad was a nice surprise! I also tried the Chicken Tortilla soup and that is where they dropped the ball. I am sure there are many ways to make this soup. When the soup came to me, my first though was "I didn't order Tomato Basil soup!!" It really was tomato basil soup with chicken. I'll know not to order that again. Other menu items look good. I will go back and try their salads.

yesterday was my first time, and it was amazing. this is my be new favored place for lunch. its a quick all from my job and it was fresh, light and very flavorful. the manager Latasha really helped my friend and I feel at home. thank you guys the service was great!!!

I want to give this place 5 stars because I love the food and the manager, Erica, is awesome but how can I when you can't order a fountain drink online or through the app? So you take all this time to order your salad or sandwich so you don't have to stand in the long lunch lines only to find that you can't complete your order if you want one of the delicious fountain drinks they offer.

This is a good place for a weekday lunch, came here with some colleagues, and it was a pleasant experience. They are super helpful when it comes to identifying what's gluten-free and safe, and all of the fresh farm to table food was delicious. There is a collection of fun, fresh tea, and I think I tried them all. Watch out for the sugar though if you're not a fan, the sweetened teas are definitely more sugar than tea lol.

As I walked into the place, I wondered why there were so many people standing around the register waiting for their order. At least 20 people just standing around near tables where folks were eating. Craziness and disorganized. Well, I waited 45 minutes for my sandwich. By the way halfway through my wait I was told the sandwich I had ordered was sold out and they no longer could make my sandwich. A first for me for a sandwich but whatever. They made me another type of sandwich but wait they were sold out of the chips I had ordered. I can't make this up guys. Horrible customer service, stay away until they figure everything out.

Visited from out of town and stumbled into this place. Great service a helpful staff. And awesome lemonade!

Excellent menu and really fresh, tasty food! It's really busy. If you order online be sure to note when the app says your order will be ready. I'd recommend ordering earlier than you think you might need to in order to get your order when you want it.
