Mendocino Farms

I recently visited Mendocino Farms in Kirkland, WA, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The décor is bright, modern, and cheerful, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The menu offers a creative and diverse range of options, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. I tried the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich and was blown away by the flavorful combination of crispy chicken, tangy mustard slaw, and pickled red onions. It was perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. The salads are equally impressive, made with fresh and vibrant ingredients that truly stand out. What sets Mendocino Farms apart is the quality of the food and the thoughtful presentation. Everything is made fresh, and you can taste the care put into each dish. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about their menu, happy to offer recommendations or help with any dietary modifications. The convenience of their order-ahead options and seamless takeout service is also a big plus, making it an excellent choice whether you want to dine in or grab something delicious on the go. Overall, Mendocino Farms is a standout dining experience. If you’re in Kirkland and looking for flavorful, high-quality meals that are a cut above the rest, this place should be at the top of your list!

My wife and I have ordered from this Mendocino location a few times and every single time something about the order was wrong. Today I ordered a Not So Fried chicken and asked for no tomato but the tomatoes came on the sandwich anyway. Additionally my wife ordered the chicken pesto caprese and asked for no peppers. The peppers were on the sandwich anyway. We had to throw my wife’s sandwich out since she has a gluten allergy and felt that if the staff missed removing the peppers from her sandwich, she couldn’t trust them to follow the allergy alert either. We have been trying to reach someone on the phone for a few hours to try to get refunded or at least let our concerns be heard but no one has answered. When Mendocino is done right, it is delicious but this location rarely gets our meals right. Attached a picture of my “No tomato” sandwich and the tomatoes that I picked off it.

Utterly fantastic restaurant!!! 5 of 5 rating!!! The food is superb!!!! Two items we purchased were the best type of salad and sandwich that I've eaten! The Thai salad had a superb dressing and lots of exciting and fresh veggies. 5 of 5 rating. The Turkey Avo Salsa Verde sandwich is superb! The salsa Verde is a little spicy, but it goes perfectly with the sandwich. 5 of 5. The prosciutto and chicken sandwich was the best! A generous amount of yummy meat and super yummy toasted chibatta bun. 5 of 5 rating. The Chimichurri steak and Bacon was good, but missing something. 4 of 5. The Kale and Apple Rainbow salad is good. They massage the kale and it is not bitter. 4.5 of 5. The lemonades are all yummy. 5 of 5. The atmosphere is fine, nothing special. 4 of 5. Real silverware! 5 of 5. However, the food and service is top notch!!!! The manager answered my questions on the calorie content for things. Everyone was so helpful! 5 of 5. I didn't know about this jewel of a restaurant, but I'm so happy to have found it! It is close to lots of shopping also! I can't wait to come back!!! 5 of 5!!!!

So happy Mendocino’s came to the Eastside. Fell in love with them in California! Their sandwiches and salads are absolutely delicious, a real treat and flavour explosion in your mouth. We go here every time we are in the area. Can’t get enough! Picture of my absolute favorite limited time Pink Lady Beets!

The sandwich tastes pretty good but it doesn’t look as nice as the menu photo which is quite deceiving. The chicken soup was really hearty, I might order it next time I’m sick. The store being new is very inefficient. My order was ready 10 mins later than promised pickup time. There were lots of staff standing around in the shop having little to do. The pickup order work station moves very slowly.

Mendocino has been a regular visit for me during my trips to California so I was pretty happy to see them opening in the greater Seattle area. The food is fresh, and they have a decent selection of vegetarian items. I'd highly recommend their chickpea avocado sandwich, and their sandwich - soup combos!

We visited Mendocino Farms over the weekend, and it was great! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The service was prompt and attentive. My only wish is for them to expand and open a location in the Lynnwood area.

Overall a very good experience as this was our first time to try out the new restaurant. I noticed the sandwich that a sit down table had ordered and it was huge. We ordered the salad and Peruvian steak sandwich takeaway which was the most expensive sandwich on the menu. They both very very tasty. The salad was a very good size portion but the Peruvian steak was very small. Perhaps 6-7inch and not stacked. Undecided if we wil go back or not. Perhaps ordering a different sandwich and eat inside would have helped ; but aren’t the sandwich supposed to be about the same size (note there is my one size ) regardless what method of pickup.
