Kind of hidden away which is nice for this area, on the bottom of this shopping center, plenty of seating inside and outside. Very clean restaurant. Has pick up/mobile orders, and can order in person. Large inside, same menu and quality as expected. Fair prices and decent portions. Full of flavor. Love this place, highly recommend and will return to this location. Friendly helpful service.

This was my first to Mendocino Farms. Had the Mango Thai salad… was super fresh and super delicious. I was impressed. Was not busy when I visited there for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Staff were friendly and quick. I will go there again to try some of their other menu options! Definitely recommend!

If you are a manager, please be sure to pay attention ⚠️ My son just recovered from a terrible flu A, and I took him to a walk nearby and he ordered a chicken roll and he said it was very delicious! The employee thoughtfully gave him a glass of lemon juice for recovery ❤️‍🩹And also my son has not eaten in 4 days and this is the first time he’s eaten. The most considerate service!

Ordered the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada from Mendocino Farms for delivery, and it was absolutely delicious! I skipped the black beans, but the salad was still packed with fresh ingredients and great textures. The chipotle vinaigrette was the star. Perfectly smoky, tangy, and tied everything together. Even for delivery, everything arrived fresh and well-portioned. It’s a great option if you’re craving something healthy but still flavorful

Excellent sandwich. I got the Farm Club. That bread was amazing. Fresh & very tasty. Turkey breast! Bacon! Avocado and the works! I would buy this everytime I'm hungry for a sandwich!

I ordered 2 turkey Ava Verde sourdough panini extra turkey ! but unfortunately this is not the first time they bring me raw bread and don't add extra turkey, it feels like they've thrown it at pigs and don't even read all the extra orders!!!

I absolutely love this place and I wish they had them on the East Coast where I live. The food tastes so fresh and the menus are always interesting. I was questioning whether or not I would like a salad that I saw the menu but asked the Clerk and he brought it home for me, I tried it and loved it. I actually returned for dinner ordered a sandwich (can't recall the name) but it was excellent also. I only wish we had this place in DC. Fresh and clean eating.

I don't know what happened with my food. I ordered the farm which comes with turkey and I got like 4 slices of tomato and very little turkey. I'm very disappointed!!

Mendocino farms is pricey for a sandwich but it is what it is. This why this chain (in general) would get 4 stars. I won't mark them for it here though because the service was except for a fast casual restaurant. They had a manager checking the quality of food, sending back items that weren't worthy of the pass and a server that went around asking if everything was good. Imagine a chipotle or a five guys asking you if the food was up to your standards while you ate there. So I'm pretty happy. The food took a little long to come out and I don't love nuts in my sandwich (I got the prosciutto chicken sandwich) but I was still full and satisfied.

Honestly a good overall and repeat experience. For a chain restaurant they have great healthy options. I think the thing. That sticks out is they were asking me about it being my first experience and encouraging guests to sample their drinks that they prepare - where as maybe you might fill your water cup with something that wasn't water, they were encouraging the upsell - which just felt honest. I'm a repeat customer now. Everything I've had has been tasty and fresh.

The sandwiches are to die for. They use the freshest ingredients and it feels as though the sandwiches are made with love. I love eating a Banh Mi and although their interpretation is not traditional. It is really a home run and worth a try. I had trouble paying as my Apple Pay wasn't working. The guy working the register was so kind to me and said they can give one free sandwich per a day to those in need or whatever. It was my lucky night. I don't like to owe or receive hand outs. I returned with cash the next day I worked in that area. I offered to pay for the sandwich and he remembered me, but they couldn't accept the money because it would affect the till. I was insisting to give them the money to make it right. So the manager said that I could put it in the tip jar if I'd like and that's what I did. I'm not looking for praise or anything. This is what happened. I was really touched by their kindness and generosity. I will be sure to patronize this restaurant again and bring my wallet next time in case I mess up using Apple Pay again

I can see the hype for this place a little bit. The sandwich and soup are pretty good and for a cheap price. This meal is good for a light lunch. The staff are also pretty friendly!

They could have easily said no but they didn't so I am so thankful for the crew that helped me out.. Avocado quinoa salad with added chicken 5/5 - I love this salad and the crunchy quinoa is so good! The flavor of the dressing is also very good. I hate how I have to pay extra to add chicken tho because it gets expensive but I feel like the salad needs it Pork belly banh mi 3/5 - I didn't like the pickled vegetables in this. I'm just used to the flavor of a traditional banh mi so this wasn't for me. Service was good and the workers were friendly. Parking is difficult here and I think they only validate for 30 mins which is only enough to order and get your order.

Great little spot with great service. High quality ingredients! The pickled onions on the turkey club sandwich are great! The drinks are soo good! Definitely coming back again and again. Very helpful and attentive staff.

Just visited this location yesterday and the team was really sweet and welcoming, got my order quick and the food was quite good. Price is average

Overall: 3.5/5 (take out) Mendocino Farms is having a weekly deal for a different sandwich each week for $8. I ordered online and was able to pick it up with no problem. The place was pretty busy since it was peak lunch time. Mendo's Original Pork Belly Banh Mi ($13.05): I got the Panini-Pressed Ciabatta (Vegan) which was pretty good as a substitute for the traditional baguette. The sandwich itself is kinda small with minimal content so it wasn't very filling on its own. There's only like a few strands of carrot and daikon, some cucumber, and a single layer of pork belly. I added some sprouts to the sandwich to spruce it up. Flavors weren't bad and the pork belly was good.

Mendocino Farms is honesty so delicious haha. I definitely like their sandwiches more than any of the other items. I think the customer favorite is probably the not so fried chicken, but my personal is indeed the steak chimichurri sandwich! Definitely worth a good visit!

I love this location. It's so convenient and close to my place. I used to go to the one in Santa Monica which has a very different venue Walking in everyone was very welcoming and nice. The staff is very friendly very much willing to help and share a laugh with you. The server that helped me was very enthusiastic, I could tell he enjoyed working there. The staff seems to work really well as a team because my food, it came out very quickly. As for my order, I had a bánh mì sandwich my friend had farmer club sandwich and we both enjoyed a beer. I picked the cloudy city IPA and my friend had the Day fall Belgian white. Both sandwich and a beer were filling, they definitely hit the spot. Big thanks to Dixie who comped us some cookies and also shared some laughs with us. I look forward to coming back for lunch soon.

My taste buds and satisfied appetite were pleased with the selection of high quality sandwiches and an array of delicious salads. I had the opportunity to experience these flavors at a catered event I had the Farm Club sandwich but there were so many options - gluten free, vegan, steak, chicken, I could go on and on Definitely a hearty sandwich that was like you were eating a meal not just a sandwich . The salads! Again lots of choices! Cousous salad, pesto salad ( the best ever), an apple salad and a build your own with all the fixings! And there's more! Dessert! Do moist and flavorful- not just cookies but pastries! Since this was a private event no photos were allowed

Convenient location and super nice staff! We always get the quinoa and avocado salad which is always made to perfection. They are also open earlier for Uber eats orders which is awesome. The mall itself is a little hectic but it's overall fine, just be prepared for the classic DTLA crowd.

Got the impossible taco salad and it was super good!!! Good portion, too. Very filling. Loved the dressing. Quickly made. Like the outdoor seating area and that there are lots of options nearby (it's like a food court, so people could order from different places and eat together outside in the center of them all.) my only complaint is that they give lots of napkins and utensils with every order, even if you specify on the order you don't want utensils. Great allergen labeling. Very much enjoyed.

I love Mendocino Farms. Doesn't matter which location I go to they are all on the same page. Great customer service Great food Great atmosphere I love their sandwiches, they are so flavorful and fresh. I have tried all of them. My recent favorite is the Peruvian Steak Sandwich. It's spicy and delicious. I tried the Thai mango salad today and loved it. Overall I highly recommend Mendocino Farms, wherever you are , you won't be disappointed

I love this chain. They stay true to the fresh ingredients promise and it's all very tasty because of it. They even have fresh squeezed lemonade. I always quench my thirst with this pulpy lemonade and sometimes go crazy and mix it with their black iced tea for an Arnold Palmer. My favorite sandwiches are the classic farm club (turkey and bacon) sandwich and the chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich. The farm club is a basic sandwich with soft bread and crunchy bacon to add pizazz to the sliced turkey. The herb aioli in the chimichurri steak sandwich makes it. It's just so perfectly greasy I always make it a point to stop by for this sandwich when I'm the vicinity. And to top it off they use this sesame roll that's perfectly toasted. Yum! Love Mendocino farms!!!

Food is good (like other Mendo), but they miss directions sometimes my missing stuff, are super late after ordering online (at times 10-15 minutes beyond what they said, which adds up for us working in the area and on meetings). Also, some attitude, not even an apology when they know they are late, like the customer owes them something. Not recommended

Always very tasty, can't go wrong with much here. Simple ambiance, nice for a lunch date. Recent promotion for $15 gift card for the Fig center when you spend $30 (comes to your email as a visa). Took ours to go. Tasty lemonades.

Love the food at this Mendocino Farms restaurant. But, most importantly is the customer service. Great new manager, Mr. Arthur Rozenberg. Other wonderful people are Tamil, Kevin, Ed and Erick. I wish I could remember the names of the rest of the staff. They all try very hard! They are the best!

Mendo never fails to deliver. Tasty sammiches and salads. Great refreshing drinks and customer service. Parking is a challenge as it isnt clear if the huilding has parking so find a meter and walk to food court.

I have become a salad girl purely due to the impossible taco salad. It is the best salad I have had- crunchy, sweet, savory, and refreshing above all. The not so fried chicken sandwich is also a good choice, and I find myself getting it if not my salad. The service is quick since it's pay first and then delivered to your table, and the place is cute and clean.

""" The same statement applies to the South Figueroa Mendocino Farms. * * * Frankly, I don't think much of the food scene in DTLA. L.A. is one of the greatest food cities on the planet ... But L.A.'s culinary distinction does not extend to the downtown area. Downtown has: Too many chains. Too many steakhouses and Too many soak the tourist places. There are exceptions where you can eat really well. But you have to sift through the plastic palaces and the drain-your-wallet tabernacles carefully. I eat downtown simply because my business in L.A. requires being downtown. Mendocino Farms has greatly eased the frustration of being stuck in DTLA. If you need lunch rather than a banquet - and you need it fast Mendocino Farms will give you food that is inexpensive, is healthy, uses innovative recipes and tastes good. I am always happy after I have had lunch at Mendocino Farms. And the best part is, that after I have had lunch at Mendocino Farms, I will have enough money left to take a Lyft to dinner in the neighborhoods that actually have real food.

Very busy location with great consistently fresh food. I always get the superfood salad and the not so fried chicken sandwich. Always tastes the same and provided with great prompt service. The lunch rush is intense so be prepared for that. Usually about a 10-15 minute wait for your food when it's lunchtime. Today was the usual, except I received extra great service from Iggy, who was one of two people manning the register during the chaotic lunch rush. He was very friendly, kind, patient, provided prompt and efficient service, and repeated the order to make sure it was correct. Enjoyable encounter and appreciated the interaction in what could have been a rushed negative exchange. Highly recommend and cost is a great value. The portions fill me up!

Delicious, Fresh food. I love the not so fried chicken sandwich. And the curry couscous! The staff is always friendly and fast. And their store is always clean and inviting.

I've tried almost every single sandwich that they have on the menu and nothing has disappointed me so far. But their soups and deli sides need quite a bit of improvement.. I like to get their 1/2 sandwich combos because I usually can't finish a whole sandwich but their soups and deli sides are mediocre..

Not bad but not worth the hype! Literally spent $20+ dollars on a sandwich (Peruvian steak) and a drink (pineapple with tajin). It wasn't crowded on the Friday compared to the rest of the week around lunchtime. Atmosphere wasn't bad at all but the togo service employees was handing out food on the table next to us. This is another one of those places why I carry cash on me instead of using my card. I walk to counter, order my food, I have to come pick it up and throw it away. That doesn't constitute any service deserving of a tip upon paying. Sandwich wasn't bad though, pretty small for a $17 dollar sandwich though.

I went here during lunch, big mistake. While the staff was really nice, but if you are in a time crunch I do not mind going here for lunch. Order ahead. This was my first time here and had no idea how long it would take to get my food. We got the not so fried chicken sandwich and the chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich as well as potato salad. The sandwiches were alright but the potato salad was terrible. Such a letdown because I love potato salad. I don't think I'll come back for lunch, unless I order ahead. This place wasn't terrible but it's not something I've craved since trying

Mendo reminds me of college and eating here regularly with my cousin! It's my LA version of LPQ. Lots of sandwiches and salads to choose from. Current fave is the prosciutto & chicken sandwich. This space in particular is huge and almost every indoor table is spread out nicely. Not sure how busy it gets during the rush hour but it seemed as if most people do pick-up here. Solid choice overall for a lunch spot!

Mendos is really one of my favorite lunch spots to grab a sandwich/salad. The 7th and fig location is always so chill when I go. I recently went to this location and Armando provided such excellent service. The food is always delicious and I cannot wait to return.

One thing about Mendocino Farm is you know your going to get Fresh food and the Customer Service will always be top notch.

Mostly leaving this review for Daniel! The cashier on duty when I ordered was phenomenal. I was a chaotic mess when ordering and I threw a curve ball by taking a call during (so sorry again Daniel). Daniel was patient, he kept track of my order even when I couldn't, and he made sure I got everything I wanted/needed. Good customer service is hard to come by these days so I wanted to make sure to give Daniel his kudos!

Good vegetarian sandwich options. Love the slaw. It's always pretty busy. It can be quite bustling and loud inside.

Great sandwiches although I think too many ingredients were added to a sandwich making is quite overwhelming sometimes. I think the steak sandwich is the best. I also tried the chicken & "November to Remember" sandwich! They were also good. Staff is nice and friendly. Store is clean. It might take them a while to make though as I see them warm/toast almost everything. Overall, nice place to eat and hang out. Parking may be a pain but the store validate parking which is awesome.

Ordered Pork Belly Banh Mi for myself and Peruvian Beef steak Sandwiches for my crew and my friend ordered Ceasars salad. My crew of 3 Mexican men, said their Peruvian beef steak sandwiches were good. It reminded them of Mexican Torta the difference is this one had a special sauce. They all loved it. Pork belly Banh Mi - I was a bit apprehensive ordering it because I do love Vietnamese Banh Mi's... and to order this sandwich in an American chain restaurant, I wasn't too sure. But my friend who usually orders from this place recommended it and was paying for my meal...so I tried it. First time I had a Banh Mi that used Ciabata bread. Oh boy,I am glad i did try. It was delicious. The blending of the Pork belly flavor with the pickled carrots and Cucumbers, so good. But it still misses the pate that would usually be in the Vietnamese Banh Mi's. Next time I am in the area, I will try the Peruvian sandwich myself. Service was fast, friendly and very efficient.

Came in for the first time yesterday and I ordered the chicken salad but subbed tofu and the cashier charged me and extra $3 and when I got home I thought it was weird. Today after my workout at golds, Hugo S. Greeted me and I just asked for clarity if that was correct and he was able to take care of me so which was unexpected. I just wanted to make sure I didn't make a mistake and I appreciate him for fixing the situation on my next purchase. I will def be coming back for Hugo and his service! Thank you!!

Love love love Mendo! Their sandwiches are so fresh and flavorful, and I am never disappointed with my choices here. I always tend to fall towards the steak BLT - it's definitely my favorite sandwich and the pretzel bread is so delicious. While it might be because I love pretzels, I think it pairs perfectly with the steak and adds a unique twist. The not so fried chicken sandwich is another favorite. Juicy fried chicken, yet I still feel like I'm eating healthy here every time. It's also another plus that the employees are generous and welcoming here, as they ask if you'd like any samples when you walk in. Price is great, environment is friendly, sandwich is filling and enjoyable, what more could you ask for?
