I visited here on a weekday during lunch time. Perhaps this isn't a great hour to enter because it's packed with working colleagues from different buildings, scrambling to get lunch. Lots of things were happening during the first time there; the pickup area is packed with people, the time to get my food took over twenty minutes (had to reschedule my meeting time), and due to the volume of people, it is impossible to hear your name being called out.
Still, during those times, the staff is sincere to carry any picked up orders, that were left alone for some time to wander through the crowd, looking for its owner.
After getting my lunch I hastily return to my office to eat before starting another work session. Also, my order had soup, but my lunch bag didn't contain a spoon, so another reason why I returned to the office. The soup was lower than lukewarm, but I was able to heat it back up.
Moving onto the food. I ordered the half and half; a sandwich and soup combo. The sandwich is the "not so fried" chicken and the soup is "today's soup of the day" and it's corn. The portions were great for lunch hour -- light and easy to eat within lunch break. It was also light enough that I wouldn't start falling asleep afterwards.
The soup is clear with chunks of chopped up corn and other vegetables. It's not creamy, so I liked that part as well. It was almost like a vegetable soup, but proportionally more corn. Due to the corn, the soup had a natural sweetness. It was a perfect dish because I was craving soup that day.
I was impressed with how the fried chicken sandwich was done. At first, I didn't understand why it was called the "not so fried," even after reading the ingredients. It's roast chicken, but the sandwich was sprinkled with these flakes, that tasted exactly like the outer crust of a battered fried chicken. This was so good and so clever! If a person wanted to eat a fried chicken sandwich, but didn't want the heavy feeling in the stomach afterwards (from fried foods) this is a great choice!
The only negative part I will say about it is that mine had a bit too much flakes, so if I take in a bite with a lot of them, it's very salty.
Overall, the food experience was pretty good, it was only the ordering and waiting part that took a while, but I had colleagues with me, so I was able to let time pass by talking about food.
