Olive, the manager, went above and beyond with my lunch order. I had a tough time ordering for myself and my colleagues. From start to finish, her customer service was outstanding. She was attentive, proactive, and made sure every detail was handled with care . Communication was clear and reassuring throughout the process, and everything went smoothly without any issues. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication to providing a great experience truly stood out and made a big difference. Highly appreciated! And her team was fast and consistent. I had a small issue with a previous order and called in — Malcolm answered and was so kind, understanding, and professional. He encouraged me to come in and speak with a manager, and when I did, I met Olive, who was just wonderful. She made sure my order was perfect and helped me get the sandwich I had been craving. Food is great and you can tell their ingredients are really fresh. Didn’t know what to try but the man at the register Andrew F. helped walks us through the menu! Talked with what I assume was the manager for a bit as well. Overall great vibe, good food and friendly staff.

Well you can say I've been up and down California and I get a certain type of feeling when I go try some new places to eat. My friend told me "I'm going to take to the best sandwich spot ever". Well I said "show me" then! I can't describe how delicious and fresh this sandwich was.. By far the best I've ever had. I had the Farm Club Go give them a try tell them I sent you!

I ordered the Peruvian Steak sandwich and it was average at best. I’m not sure why is called Peruvian it doesn’t remind me of any Peruvian food I tried before, lots of bread little bit of meat. My wife enjoyed her Turkey Avo Salsa verde sandwich. I honestly wouldn’t come back to this place too many better options imo.

First time trying Mendocino Farms. They are a new restaurant in Santa Clarita Valley. It is located in the Valencia Crossroads Mall. It is a great location with plenty of parking and plenty of inside and outside dining. The manager and staff are very friendly. Manny is the restaurants manager.

I have lived in LA for over 13 years and somehow never had Mendocino Farms til now. Crazy, I know. Well, apparently I've been sleeping on some delicious, fresh food because damn, it was good! Stopped in at this location before hitting the Town Center across the street. Came for a late lunch on a Thursday. There were a few people there but they weren't that busy. I looked up the menu ahead of time and wanted to try one of the seasonal items, so I ordered the Seasonal GOAT with Pink Lady Apples. Holy mother of God, that was a delicious salad! Honestly, I would rank it in my top 5 favorite salads ever. For real. The pink lady apples. The tender chicken. The big dollop of goat cheese. The honey roasted almonds. The fennel. The mint. THE HOT CITRUS HONEY?! Henny, it was heavenly! Also shoutout to the guava lemonade. Like, what?? Amazing. Service was friendly. Food was delish. Restaurant was clean. Plenty of seating and parking. Truly a 5-star experience! I'll be back!

I love their sandwich selections. Also, I love their chicken Farro soup. I often order the large and take it home for my husband and myself. The staff is always, and I mean always, friendly and wanting to please. The dining room is OK, the outside dining area is much more pleasant.

Met with one of my friends to catch up and yap while eating healthy veggies. We both got the happy hippie toasted but mine was on gluten free bread ($1.95 up-charge). Packed with fresh veggies, some cheese and the fact that this gluten free bread did not fall apart is worth the five star review! (my gluten free girlies.. IYKYK)!! Inside was a little small, they do have an attached patio outside but it was a hot day and we opted for the inside with AC. Service was great, food came out quickly.

Located at the big shopping complex and there are plenty of parking. The service was top notch by Malcolm, he went above and beyond to serve me during the lunch rush. I really appreciate his help. Now that food, it was ok. I love the concept and all, I ordered the seasonal GOAT with Pink Lady Apples and it was just ok. Nothing spectacular but I am willing to try something else on the menu next time since the service was great. Thanks, Malcolm.

This is my favorite spot to eat at when I'm in town . The quality of food is amazing and fresh ! Farm club is my absolute favorite. The service is always amazing every time I walk in I see the team smile and it's the authenticity that grabs my attention it's not forced it's genuine. And the ambiance ? Love it ! Shout out to the two mangers Cassie and Olivia they are always in on the weekends when I'm there and they hustle every time keep up the good work ! See y'all next weekend

Was super hungry and went here based on previous positive experiences, but this time , a few weeks back, the chicken in both of our chicken sandwiches tasted off, like the chicken was definitely not fresh. It was so disappointing, we had taken it to go and too tired to go back , ugh.

This is our first visit to Mendocino Farms. I am not sure what took us so long to come here. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can scan the code at the entrance to take a closer look at the menu while standing in line. You order at the front counter and wait for them to call your name to pick up your order. Between the three of us, we ordered a hummus pita crunch salad, farm club 1/2 sandwich and kale and apple salad, and the avocado & quinoa superfood salad with sweet red peppers. Our order came out quit quickly. The peppers were not on the salad, but once we went up to the counter they gladly gave us a couple of small containers with lots of sweet red peppers. Most of the salad dressings are different flavors of vinaigrettes. It appeared we beat the lunch crowd, but it did get busy while we were eating. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They appear to have a large on-line order customer base. This location is in a busy shopping center, but there is ample parking all around as the restaurant is a corner location. I am always looking for a place with plenty of salad choices and fresh food type offerings, especially at lunch. And I can now add this location to my line up. There are so very many menu offerings so I think there is something for everyone here. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

This place is okay, but they don't give you enough protein for what you pay...Panera, Jersey Mikes, and Dinks do a better job in that department. I'm not just buying veggies and bread with sauces.... If I'm spending $18-$21 you've got to supply a decent portion of protein. I can go to any other restaurant and get a better sandwich, so I won't be visiting this place anymore.

I've had sandwiches didn't Mendocino at many a party, and I usually really enjoy them. I know this is a "boujie" cafe, so you can expect special ingredients and fancy combinations. I've been meaning to go here for a while. But never got around to it. Then I received a 2 for 1 sandwich deal so I had to go. We got the chicken parmigiana dip and black tie turkey with a side of basil pesto pasta salad. When I opened our sandwiches I was surprised at how small the chicken parm dip was. There was barely anything on it, and for almost $14 I would've expected a fuller sandwich. My husband's turkey sandwich looked a bit more filling since it was on a larger bun. But still the toppings were minimal. The pesto pasta salad was ok. Nothing special, but it wasn't bad either with a little extra salt. Would I go back? Perhaps. But there are plenty of delis and other sandwich shops that would provide a better experience for my money.

Saw this place online and decided to check it out! Came all the way from Los Angeles to give it a try! The food was amazing I had the Chimichurri Steak & Bacon sandwich while my friend had the Turkey Avo Salsa Verde and added mustard. The steak was tender and the sandwich mouth watering my friend really enjoyed her sandwich literally in minutes it was devoured. The place is a nice cafe style restaurant and the service was excellent, we will be back soon

The food here is pretty yummy and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. It is on the pricer side $16 for a just a sandwich is a bit much in my opinion, even if it does have steak and bacon on it. Although they do have a good deal of half a sandwich and a side for $13, although limited options unfortunately. I would say this is a definitely healthier alternative to most restaurants which is a plus, casual vibe to it with a lot of orders for takeout it seems. You do order at the front but they still have table service and are accommodating to what you may need. There's a lot of options for seating at this location, and the location itself is great cause it's across the street from the mall. Overall I wasn't bad and if I want a healthier option I well definitely have this place in mind!

I wish we could give half stars because this would be a three and a half review not quite consistent enough to be a 4 love the flavors of the food here and how convenient it is to order online and just go pick it up off the shelf at the time you chose This makes it great for ordering lunch for the office - we all order and one person picks it up. Sometimes attention is not paid to the notes that are put first and extra dressing or omitting an item they mostly get it right Salads have good healthy ingredients with creative flavors but the servings are not consistent. One time the bowl is full another time like tonight not so much I also wish they had a reward system so you could get rewarded for frequent ordering They have been open a while so you think consistency would be good by now

First, the food tasted amazing and was fresh. The potato salad complimented my sandwich and the beverage options are great. The staff had great service and were super friendly also having a clean store.

Solid lunch spot for SCV/Valencia area. The sandwiches were fresh and very good. Had the beef chimichurri at it was delicious. Plan to spend some time there if you're dining in. It took them a long while (almost 20 min!) to assemble our sandwiches. Deducted a star for that

I'll start with the good. The food is tasty and the place is clean. For the money, I do find the portion size a little on the smaller side. I am typically still a little hungry after having a sandwich from here. Service isn't the quickest, so don't come if you are in a hurry. This place gets crowded and seating is limited and cozy.

Farm to Table good food. Located in the big plaza, parking is really easy to find. Like all Mendocino farms, the space is nicely decor with open space concept. Order from the touch screen monitor or counter. Food was consistent, my favorite go-to would be the Chicken and Prosciutto Sandwich. Nice spot to hang if you need to get some work done.

Just okay. This location is not quite consistent yet with other locations I've been to in LA. If you're dining in they bring the food to your table thats linked to your receipt. Unfort most tables were pretty dirty or sticky. We also watched our food sit at the counter for several minutes before someone finally brought it to us, despite coming during a slower hour in the afternoon. Good for office takeout otherwise theres other better lunch options in the same plaza.

The vegan banh mi is an Americanized version of the Vietnamese and it's great! Fat chunks of tofu. The Cashier was friendly. Have never eaten at the place or heard of it and don't live here, but would come back for another banh mi in a heartbeat.

It's good quick food if you're looking for a healthy option. The Ceasar salad that my wife choose was delicious. I had the pork belly bahn mi. It's not as spicy as the traditional bahn mi, but it's good and fill you up. The service is very friendly and the decor is minimal and clean! I'd consider this on the pricier side food. But if you're in a rush and want a healthier option it's a good place to stop!

Place has gone downhill. Service is slow and they always make mistakes on the orders, constantly having to take things back with things missing or using wrong ingredients, acting like nothing happened. Much rather go to Urbane Cafe where the experience is more consistent.

The Vegan Banh Mi is the sandwich of my life. I literally have to eat it once a week and I would eat it everyday if I could. I have never had a better sandwich. And I will order from Mendocino farms forever! While I love my vegan banh mi, I have to admit that the service can be quite slow. I've had to wait very long to get my order, even when the restaurant isn't busy. I've also noticed that there are times where my sandwich is very sloppily made. Additionally the tables at the restaurant can be left pretty dirty. I definitely think that customers should pay attention to how they leave their tables when they leave, but I think it would help the ambiance of the restaurant if the tables were wiped down more often

Called in my order and they told me it would be 15-20 minutes. Placed my order and drove over! Walked in and payed for food and waited all of 5 minutes and it was ready! I always tell them I have a gluten allergy and they take it seriously! Thank you for the excellent service and accommodating me. So thrilled we have this new location in Valencia, large parking lot, patio seating outside as well. I ordered the gluten free bread on the farm club sandwich. This is the best gluten free bread I've had!!! I always get the superfood salad with cucumbers subbed out for tomatoes and no cheese to make it dairy free. Recently tried the sweet potato soup and it was so delicious! A flavor bomb of sweet, spicy, tangy and I am addicted. They have a ton of great teas and lemonades as well.

Maybe it's this location, maybe people overhype every Mendocino, whichever it is, my first Mendocino experience was sub par, at best. We stopped by Friday afternoon and although the place wasn't busy, I've never seen such a lazy set of staff on a shift. They had at least 15 employees all standing around, wobbling around, literally looking stoned in place. There's no energy, no work ethic, nothing. Considering they have such an open concept to see half the back-of-house, they should at least tell their employees - most of whom look like kids - to not make it so obvious that they hate their jobs. We ordered the chicken parmesan dip and Peruvian steak sandwich, plus a drink. All together for $35. For that price, we expected both a good size and tasty set of sandwiches. Well we sure hoped for too much. The subs at Jersey Mike's are cheaper, bigger, and taste 10x better. And believe me, we LOVE sandwiches - paninis, hoagies, subs, everything. We know a thing or two about sandwiches. The chicken parm was tiny. I'm not a big eater but I still hungry after finishing this sandwich. There was hardly any chicken, cheese, or flavor, The chicken was dry and soggy, whatever cheese was on the sandwich was only put on one half. The sauce was bland and the sandwich wasn't hot. The only decent thing about this sandwich was the sesame bread but it would have been better toasted. As for the Peruvian steak, this was much better than the chicken parm but still not worth a return visit or high praise. The aji amarillo had a decent kick and good flavor. The meat again was so minimal you couldn't even tell you're eating meat of any kind. They forgot the aioli and the veggies just became soggy. The potato bread again, was the only part worth it and at least they toasted this one. I was excited to try the drinks but overall those were a let down. In total, we were in the restaurant for 45 minutes and the pomegranate lemonade remained empty the entire time. The green juice was full of pulp and so grainy. The rose lemonade was actually great and I enjoyed that, but it needs to be mixed since all the pulp sinks to the bottom.

Love the Mango Salad and the drinks but everything on the menu is good. The staff is always amazing. Great location.

I don't know if it's just this location? I haven't been to a Mendocino Farms in years. This location in Santa Clarita opened a couple years ago. I figure go try it see if it's as good as I remembered. I ordered Turkey sandwich (Farm Club). Sandwich looked good. Decent amount of everything bacon, greens, avocado and tomato. My complaint: THE BREAD. Now I don't know if honey wheat is suppose to be too firm, dense and somewhat crumbly. Bread should be relatively soft and spongy when bitten into. Score 3/3.5 Maybe this was an off day?? I'd definitely would go back and try again and hope the bread is better. TBC

I always go for their not so fried chicken, and do half of salad (rainbow) or soup (lemon). They always provide the friendliest customer service and are quick to assist. Causal ambiance for groups.

Visiting friends in the neighborhood of SCV Mendo. I saw that they were offering $8 dollar chicken Parm sandwich when you order through the app for the week (during national sandwich , August). I have never tried the chicken Parm sandwich so I figured it was a good time to do so. Boy am I glad I did! It is outstanding! I don't know who made my sandwich, but he or she made it perfectly! (my husband also ordered the same thing, but at the Porter ranch location and they forgot his marinara sauce on the side and the sandwich was not put together like mine was. I know this because I took a picture and sent it to him and he said his did not look like that ). The sandwich includes Chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, crunchy breadcrumbs (I think), Calabrian chili aïoli, fresh basil, and I don't remember what else was on it, but it came with a side of marinara sauce, and that was delicious too! I will definitely order this sandwich again. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes Chicken Parmesan! The Sesame seed bread was soft and tasted as it should. My father was a bread baker and I'm very very picky with bread and this was very very good. Yum!!! Their pineapple tajin lemonade is incredible! So delicious! All of their freshly made lemonades and juices are really good. I've been happy with all of them. Customer service is nice. Very easy to order online and most of the time it's ready when promised. I will say that the lids to the cups suck! They do not lock or close tightly. I spilled my drink right when I got in the car because of the lid not being secure and It wasn't because I didn't secure it.

Fresh, Flavorful, and Totally Worth It! Mancino's Farm Sandwiches are absolutely delicious! Every bite tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. Their salads are just as amazing--especially the quinoa salad with chicken (I always ask for extra dressing on the side!). It's a super healthy option that doesn't skimp on flavor. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients and the care put into each dish make it totally worth it.

Wow! How could I love an overly bright white fast food meaty place like Mendocino Farms? Because it is just the best of the best of its type and has multiple items for vegetarians and vegans like me. They moved into an open spot vacated by a place that once was great and declined. The proximity to other terrific stores and restaurants (especially Whole Foods and Cafe Rio, two of my faves) is perfect and there is abundant spacious parking in a pleasant mini-mall. We had been at a morning event and decided to grab lunch in Valencia, primarily to try out MF, since I had seen it at Americana in Glendale and put it on my list. Now, it's even more convenient, another place I could easily walk to from home. There was a long line (see my pictures) but I attributed that to the fact that these are its opening days and people are excited (now I know why) that it has come to Santa Clarita. The food is fresh and exceptionally tasty. We had Vegan Banh Mis, Vegetarian Pesto Capreses, Happy Hippies, and sides like Spicy Potato, Curry Cous Cous, and Soup with Sweet Potato. Even the beverage selection is sophisticated but down-home delicious and healthy. I had the Green mix and it was incredible -- everyone would love it and I am shocked that it didn't have even one molecule of added sugar, because it was so smooth and sweet. If you are a meat-lover, you will have no problem here, but I am shouting out to all non-meat eaters to make a beeline to this Mendocino Farms. Thanks to the very friendly and considerate servers we chatted with, Adam and Tamil. They couldn't have been nicer. I hope this keeps up -- if it does, it will be on our regular rotation. Yay!

Was counting down the days for Mendocino to open in Valencia because Awesome Town is in dire need of new, fresh places to eat. I regularly order from the Burbank location so already knew there would be a queue but during Friday lunch hour, I ended up waiting a total of 40 mins for 1 steak and bacon sandwich and small side salad. Highly recommend ordering online for pickup if you can. Onto the food...loved the steak sandwich! I normally order soups and salad so decided to get something different. Every bite was tasty. Paired nicely with a fresh kale apple salad that was citrusy and tart with a nice crunch. Overall giving 4 stars for the quality of food. Even though their production line seemed to be efficient and accurate, the delay in receiving my order should have been far less. The friendliness and constant communication from the staff made up for it.

Reliable and quality food every single time. I love their Not so fried chicken sandwich and my brother loves their Mango Salad. Portions and quality are great and so is the service.

If you're looking for great sandwich, then Mendocino Farms is your place. The sandwiches are a little better than those at Jersey Mike's and far greater than those at "subways." The service is great and the ambience is pretty cool.

Visited for a soft opening and we are more excited than ever to have Mendocino Farms in Valencia! The space has been totally redone and has a little patio area and lots of seating options. They were doing their last night of training before their grand opening the next day. Everyone was so polite and enthusiastic about the store and its food. We ordered the steak/bacon sandwich, the chicken parm dipper sandwich, banh mi sandwich, and the not-so-fried chicken salad. The favorites were for sure the three sandwiches and next time we will get the fried chicken as a sandwich not salad. Also wanting to try the Thai sweet potato soup and the Thai mango salad. Lots of refreshing drink options - teas, lemonade, and a green drink with kale, cucumber, ginger, etc. We can't wait to come back!

Visiting from out of town and my daughter took me to lunch here. We got there as they opened and as we were the first customers they did a cute cheer! That encapsulated their friendly approach to serving us. We had a great experience. I enjoyed the vegan bahn mi and the kale apple salad. My husband had the vegetarian hippie sandwich which had tons of yummy veggies and my daughter enjoyed the pork bahn mi. You can have a delightfully healthy yet truly delicious meal here. They did get quite busy by the time we left so going early was a good idea. I look forward to my next trip!

I love this place. I came here with my wife soon after it opened to give this new business a try. I was very unfamiliar with it prior to coming but had heard great things. My wife and I arrived a few mins before it opened and decided to wait around to give it a try. It was well worth the wait. We were the first customers to walk in when the doors opened and the manager behind the counter was super friendly, welcoming and helped me make decision with my order. I told him it was our first visit and there were several items that sounded good. He emphasized the Pork Belly Banh Mi as one of their most popular. It actually wasn't one of the items I was eyeballing but he was so convinced I'd love it, I gave it a try. He actually offered a free drink to me, saying, "since you're being so adventurous." Super cool. I've got to be honest, he was right. It was one of the best tasting sandwiches I've ever had. Apparently they are big on using fresh, healthy ingredients from the farm and the taste explosion was evidence of that. Since that first visit, I've been back multiple times. I've had the Chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich, Peruvian steak sandwich, and the "Not So Fried" chicken sandwich. I've also had the Thai Mango Salad which I am hooked on lately. It is so amazing, crunchy and tasty, I've gotten that my last few visits. There are so many things I want to try and eventually I'll get to them all. Oh and by the way, the drinks are super refreshing and delicious as well. My favorite is the pomegranate mint lemonade. The restaurant is clean, open and there is always staff available if you have questions or concerns. There are also a few outdoor, covered tables if it's a nice day out. Don't skip this place, you will highly regret it.

Very healthy and refreshing soups, salads, and sandwiches. Very impressed by the not so fried sandwich which had the crunch and crispiness of a fried sandwich but was simply covered with some flakes. The sandwiches itself was a so refreshing with juicy tomatoes and fresh veggies. This is a wonderful spot to eat without feeling guilty about calories.

I like Mendocino. Their not so fried chicken sando is delicious and I like the curry couscous. This place gets super crowded and loud during lunch time and it's impossible to get a table so make sure you go early. The service was slow because the cashier talked to the couple infront of me forever. It's a loud place. There is an outdoor patio area if you have a dog. I tecommmend ordering online and just picking up.

My wife has fantasies about her first Mendocino Farms experiences at the Sherman Oaks location we used to live closer too...so when we learned a location was coming up here to the Santa Clarita Valley, it was almost as if we had arrived at the utopian world yet to come. We've eaten here three times now (2 dine in and 1 delivery) and although it has all the familiar things we know from the other locations, our overall impression is that it's slightly off in terms of brand standards in what we've received. In particular, my wife feels there's something off with the salads, the ratio of types of lettuce, how it's cut, etc., compared to what she remembers. The first time she ordered it without onions and it came with what seemed like extra onions which she had to pick out. The first time I wanted to order the Impossible Taco salad and they were out of the Impossible Meat and so I had to pick something else. I wanted to try the vegetarian mushroom cheesesteak style sandwich (a seasonal item which isn't still on the menu) - I'm not vegan and asked them to make it with real cheese instead of the vegan...they said they couldn't do that, but then a friend of mine said they ordered it that way and it wasn't a problem. Perhaps all these issues are just artifacts of it being a new location and they're still getting up to speed? My son and I both have enjoyed the Vegan banh Mi. We really like the drink options, and overall we're happy to have a healthier place that has multiple good vegetarian options. So we're not giving up on it...My wife has decided she wants to get the Superfood Salad at this location, and the Sherman Oaks location just so she can do a comparison of what she remembers, and what we're getting locally. We'll let you know how that goes.

My Wife keeps busting my balls bc I keep ordering the Peruvian Steak... "I've tried 4 things off the menu" is her finishing sentence. I swing back with, "yea, me too" then we both laugh how we exchange bites, so I HAVE tried 4 different thangs. Her orders are amazing, AMAZING, the Peruvian with double meat, no avocado is; would be like trying to explain sex to a virgin or parenting to a non parent. You're welcome. P.s. I feel slightly better for stealing an inch of lemonade in my water when I come here.

Issue with kitchen, then never do the order correct. They do mistakes and never own them, Jose the kitchen manager, he is just arrogant and rude. I wouldn't trust him with food back there

Cool ambiance and fresh food. Even though you order at the counter, they bring food to you and it doesn't feel like fast food. Ingredients are very fresh and love you can do 1/2 sandwich with small side. Will definitely come back.

The food here is bomb .com, they always have great service and this is one of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch. Their not so fried chicken sandwich is my fave! Definitely get that if you're stopping by.

First before I slam the place, the food is really good but...the wait time is ridiculous and I wonder how long they'll last. Every time I've gone to pick up an online order, I've had to wait. I can understand a few minutes, they are popular but what a shit show. After my last couple of visits, I purposefully went 10 minutes later from the pickup time. In true fashion, they did not disappoint....my order was delivered out 25 minutes past the pickup time. There are a more options for lunch in the SCV that don't have this ongoing issue...I won't be back.

I don't understand how you can justify the price of your menu items. They are so far off the mark it's ridiculous... almost $15 for a small sandwich that is mediocre at best, and comes with nothing on the side. CRAZY!!!! Service was slow. There were only two tables occupied at 5:00 PM on a Friday evening and I can understand why. Trash, recycling and dish receptacles were overflowing. It was disgusting. I know because they charge that price and expect you to bus your own table. I will never, EVER return to any MF.
