Stoup’s New Capitol Hill Location Is Opening Next Week | Eater Seattle

"After opening its South Lake Union location in May, Mendocino Farms is rapidly expanding in Seattle: a second location will open at 4th and Union in downtown on September 6, there are five more locations in the works, and the chain has been partnering with Seattle-based brands like Monorail Espresso and Tom Douglas." - Harry Cheadle

This is a fast lunch place, easy for a quick stop during the work day. The salads weren’t anything special, but were still good. 6.5/10 This is a good stop for salads, sandwiches, and more. Instagram: Madeline’s_Dines

I had a great experience at this location, thanks to the outstanding service and clear dedication from both the staff and leadership. Nathan was friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. He offered thoughtful suggestions on menu items and pairings, stayed engaged throughout the visit, and maintained a positive, upbeat attitude the entire time. He personally brought the food to my table and was attentive without being intrusive. I also noticed him balancing his responsibilities well—he kept busy with side work, like refilling sauces under Cristy’s guidance, without ever losing focus or missing a beat in guest service. When I approached the counter for a to-go container, Nathan immediately paused what he was doing to help, showing genuine care and responsiveness. During my visit, I also observed the general manager conducting onboarding with a new hire. It was later in the day than I typically see store managers out and about in retail environments and yet, I was impressed with the level of thoughtfulness he brought to the onboarding and its clear that he is there to support, regardless of the shift. He gave a thorough overview of the store and expectations, while also taking time to ask the new employee how he could support their success. When I asked Nathan to share my compliments with his manager, he seemed genuinely surprised and appreciative. I told him I manage a team myself back in Colorado and that I make a point to speak up when I see things being done right, since customer service can be a thankless job and too many people overlook when things are going right. Nathan shared that he’s only been in his role for 2–3 months and is proud of the energy and positivity he brings to the job. His manager accepted the feedback graciously. In a restaurant environment there’s a lot going on, but it’s evident at this store that the team and leadership care deeply about their work and their guests. It was a refreshing and memorable experience.

The seasonal heirloom tomato sandwich...was OMG delicious. A perfect quick lunch. Excellent, friendly customer service, better than any other place that we are in a week. Should good in fact, we picked up salads to go after a day of walking till we were too tired to go out.

Google
I work nearby and usually order take out here. Today, when I went to pick up my order off the shelf, an employee asked me to prove my order. People are constantly going up to the shelf to pick up their orders without having to provide evidence. And in the past when I’ve gone with team members, I never experienced that so it was a little off putting. I don’t know what the employee’s intentions were or if there’s been a change in procedure and they are now checking everyone (I stand corrected if so) but it felt like a moment of prejudice and racial bias. I hope everyone is asked to prove their orders when they walk up now and not just people who are black. It was a pretty disappointing interaction. I will not be returning. Salads and sandwiches are delicious and aside from today, I’ve never had an issue with the service/employees at this spot. So I would still recommend. Just be mindful if you’re a POC

I ordered from Mendocino Farms for delivery and was impressed with the quality and freshness of their food and their packaging. The flavors in the Mama Chen’s Chicken Salad were bright and interesting. The chicken was very tender and the salad dressing was perfect. I also had the spicy potato salad which had a nice flavor, but in my opinion was not spicy. It did not disappoint.

Google
Ordered the Farm Club on gluten free bread. Guys, you gotta stop using this bread. It is so crumbly. I can’t imagine wanting to eat this bread in most situations, but in a SANDWICH situation?? A nightmare. I couldn’t even pick it up without it completely, and I mean completely, falling apart. The photo I’ve included is after one attempt to pick it up. Couldn’t even make it to my mouth. It’s very frustrating to walk away with a nearly $20 sandwich that cannot be picked up. I ended up eating this with a knife and fork (not provided) and eating around the upcharged bread because it was so dry and crumbly. Either stop serving this bread or maybe try toasting it with lots of butter or mayonnaise? This isn’t it. Other ingredients were quality. GF comrades: just get a salad.

Google
I’ve only ever been to Mendocino Farms at their locations in Los Angeles and Irvine, but I was pleased to see that their quality still remained at their Seattle location! Mendocino Farms is my favorite sandwich chain. This location was in a great, lively part of downtown Seattle with a huge glass window that really let us immerse in the city! I ordered the not so fried chicken sandwich which is always my favorite to order! The sandwiches were prepared freshly and quickly, and the taste was divine. The seating area and the bathrooms were clean, the serve was great, and overall, the experience was fantastic! I would certainly come back again, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a healthy meal and some GREAT sandwiches.

Google
This location seriously has the best staff out of all the Mendocino’s I’ve been to. Nick (think he’s the manager) if always hustling and in a great mood, even when it’s insanely busy. And the staff are always really helpful. Def keeps me coming back!

Yelp
Downtown LA, Downtown Culver City, my past in LA is peppered with great memories of the mouth-watering vegan sandwiches produced with unflagging quality and taste from Mendocino Farms. The sophistication of the "California palate" with casual Asian-, Latino-, and Mediterranean-inspired salads and sandwiches are the specialty of this chain. Healthy, flavor forward but with rounded mouth feel. YUM....the American melting pot is beautifully represented here (**current insecurities and hostilities notwithstanding.**) For me on a personal gut-brain connection, the vegan Bahn Mi hittss! I come close to weeping when I taste it because it transports me back to my Culver City days -- lounging on the grand staircase across from Sony Studios and the historic Culver City hotel. Basking in that golden sunshine and snarfing down the deliciously toasted bread containing pickled carrots and daikon and expertly grilled tofu, is a warm memory. If there is any comfort food I'd go back to repeatedly in the American culinary landscape, it is the vegan Bahn Mi. That's high praise coming from someone for whom culinary novelty and unusual palate is my zone. Don't miss the sophisticated drinks...their lemonade mixes are equally Asian-, Latin- and Mediterranean-inspired, complex, and zingy. With friendly service, the excellent sandwich-soup-salad combinations here make me just, well, HAPPY. This branch is rather clinical in architecture with far-too-big picture windows in downtown Seattle. Mendocino Farms should have done more of an intimate interior design rather than this awful cold glass wrap around. Yeeuuuuch!!

Yelp
I will say I was pretty impressed with how the manager responded to my previous review. He was thorough, prompt and very generous in an attempt to earn my business back. Will be giving them another shot and updated my review because good customer service is hard to find these days.

Yelp
I come here for the Prosciutto & Chicken sandwich and the Lemon Chicken & Farro soup. I would try other things, and I have, but I know I will wish that I ordered my fav sandwich. The Prosciutto & Chicken is an elevated sandwich that has all these yummy flavors combined into a filling panini pressed sandwich. The crunch of the crushed honey roasted almonds intermingled with the basil pesto and balsamic glaze is chef's kiss! The Lemon Chicken & Farro soup is delicious! I ordered my food online and picked it up without any issue during the designated pick up time.

Yelp
I came here for elite week and was very satisfied! I went in the evening and I feel like Mendocino farms is a very underrated place for dinner. There aren't many premium sandwich shops that are open around this time. I ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich. It has the perfect amount of spice so that it adds to the flavor rather than takes away from it. It was toasted perfectly. It didn't travel super well (got a little messy) but it didn't affect the taste whatsoever once it was out of the bag! Be aware that it gets extremely busy during lunch time and I would suggest ordering ahead.
google avatar

Yelp
We went as Elite members on "Elite week" at the Westlake location the one on 4th was too crowded plus no parking The salads and sandwich were freshly made, refreshing and yummy Idk if being Elite members made a difference as we were served quickly while others waited for their orders. The place was organized, clean, and staff were friendly & welcoming The place was packed as it was lunchtime!!

Yelp
I visited Mendocino Farms as part of the Yelp Elite Event. I've dined at Mendocino farms before, but at a different location. I've tried a few of their salads and wanted to try a sandwich this time. This location is very spacious and comfortable. A huge plus for allowing dogs to dine in too! PERUVIAN SANDWICH - 4/5 The server recommended the Peruvian sandwich which consists of steak tossed in a spicy aji amarillo sauce, oaxacan cheese, tomatoes, red onions, shredded romaine, and herb aioli. I also added avocado. The sandwich was warm when it arrived and the bread was crispy and toasted very well. It wasn't too spicy and had a good amount of meat complemented by the tangy sauce. Ingredients were very fresh and portions were good. The crunch of the bun was a standout for me. If you're in the mood for something lighter, the salads are a great choice, but Mendocino Farms' sandwiches hold their own too!

Yelp
Good for catering - Walkable from Pike Place - Easy meal spot Their menu had a decent variety and was hard to choose from! Went with a staff members recommendation and ordered the turkey avo salsa verde sandwich for lunch. Overall, good quick and easy lunch spot. Worth to try if you're around! I was the first one in and I could see large catered orders everywhere! Took about ten minutes to get my sammy and it did not disappoint! Had a little kick to it and I could taste all the flavors from each ingredient. It was a hefty sandwich that will have you plenty full! This sandwich would be a hard one to save for later, it got soggy quick but not inconveniently so. Not a spot for a date or anything but if you're in the office and need a quick lunch this is a healthy option I'd recommend!

Yelp
Loved this chain when I lived in Socal. So excited for them to be here now. Its a great space - easy to find - walkable if you work or live in downtown area. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They recommended the no so fried Chicken Sandwich as a crowd favorite. I added a chicken farro soup and guava lemonade. Yum!

Yelp
Mendocino Farms is impossible not to love. My favorites will always be the first two locations I would frequently visit in LA and Marina Del Rey, but this is one I come to often as well and it's very convenient to the downtown offices. The employees are lovely and always kind, even in the lunch rush. Lately, without fail, I get the Thai Chicken and Mango salad. It is so good. It may be one of the only salads in the world that is truly satisfying. There are so many textures and their shaved chicken is really, really good. If I'm not at Mendocino, I normally pick out a salad's chicken. Here, you enjoy every bite.

Yelp
The service was quick and friendly, which was a plus. We ordered a chicken pesto sandwich, and it was ready in about 10 minutes. The sandwich itself was just okay. The strangest part was that the bread was hot, but the chicken was cold, making for a confusing mix of temperatures. However, the bread was quite good. Would I go back? Maybe not.

Yelp
Mendocino is a good lunch time spot. You can order online and their pick up system is quite efficient. The staff is super on top of it. I went during Yelp Elite Week and got the chimichurri steak sandwich. A bit messy for a work lunch but it's a good portion.

Yelp
Mendocino Farms is a fantastic fast-casual option in Seattle. I wish we had something like this where I'm located, lol. My friend and I stopped by a couple Saturday evenings ago hoping to enjoy a meal with fresh and healthy ingredients (like vegetables) because we truly needed a cleanse. AVOCADO & QUINOA SUPERFOOD ENSALADA - 13.95 +4 for grilled chicken (kinda worth, tbh) So much fresh vegetables and grape tomatoes which made me so happy. I love the toasted quinoa and millet which gave the salad an extra crunch for every bite. All the toppings really made the salad delicious and worth it. The cotija cheese was a good cheese option. The chipotle vinaigrette was light and sweet. What a tasty salad and it was so, so filling. I actually would not mind paying almost $20 for this since it's packed with a lot of fresh ingredients and it filled me up really well. The service here was good and the interior was clean. We had a good time eating and talking before they closed. My friend and I also shared a potato salad, which was quite tasty.

Yelp
While on a recent business trip to downtown Seattle, our group decided to order takeout from Mendocino Farms. It's a sandwich, soup, and salad kind of place, and I have to say, it's a cut above the usual fast-casual options. Think Panera, but significantly better. I remember when a quick lunch meant a basic sandwich from a chain. Mendocino Farms takes things to a different level. The sandwiches are elevated; you're definitely not finding the kind of combinations they offer at Subway, Jimmy John's, or even Panera. I had the chimichurri steak and bacon with marinated red peppers. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and the sandwich was just overall excellent. I also ordered a side of pickles and their dill potato salad. Being from Texas, I'm pretty particular about my potato salad, and this one hit the spot. It had the right balance of creamy and tangy, with a good dill flavor. The interior was modern and looked like it had plenty of seating, though we opted for takeout. They had our order waiting on a large shelving system on the wall, so we didn't have to wait in line or talk to anyone. It was very efficient. Despite our large order - we had eight people in our group - the food was ready quickly, and everything was correct. That's always a plus when dealing with a larger order. It shows they have a good system in place. Overall, I was very impressed with Mendocino Farms. It's a great option for a quick but high-quality lunch. I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars and would definitely recommend it, especially if you're looking for something beyond the typical sandwich chain fare.

Yelp
First of all, whoever the gentleman was who greeted me and took my order, you are an absolute rockstar! He noticed I seemed a little lost and confused. He explained the menu to me, told me his favorites, and then gave me a moment to look everything over. I ordered the chicken crunch wrap. I wasn't sure what to expect but I know people LOVE this place and we just got one locally, so I was excited to try it at a location that wouldn't be as busy. It was really good! I also had the opportunity to try one of their beverages. Also, amazing! I thought I made sure of the ingredients in my wrap before ordering but I noticed while eating it, there was something I just didn't like. There were, in fact, tomatoes in it. Which is totally fine! It just solidified my dislike for tomatoes. I can't wait to try Mendocino Farms again. I really hope our staff is as incredible as the one in Seattle!

Yelp
Mendocino Farms is such a great spot for a quick and healthy lunch! I'm gluten free and vegetarian and brought my vegan friend here- we both had plenty of options and the menu is labeled really well so it was easy to select things we could eat. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They gave us some great opinions when we were stuck on what to order and brought our food out quickly. The restaurant is clean and has fabulous natural light, but the food is also really easy to take to go. We ate in and it was lovely! Will definitely come back for another quick meal!

Jasleen B.

Yelp
Super good food, and really cool/ fresh atmosphere, ordered at the counter and the wait was not long at all for our food, would definitely recommend!

Thomas M.

Yelp
The sandwich was the best I have in many years. Excellent quality and robust but not over powering flavors. Unique My wife loved her salad as well. Again quality is top. Very friendly staff and super clean. A place to rest and enjoy a safe clean quality lunch. We will hit this place again and again.

Yelp
A fast-casual chain infiltrated downtown Seattle. Not too long ago I had some free time and gave into the hype about visiting this fairly new salad & sandwich shop. Well, fairly new to Washington state. The vibe was unsettling like a splinter of South Lake Union got lodged into the central business district. I looked around the restaurant. Something about this place felt odd, like watching the smiling people in black hole sun. I stood in line, ordered a sandwich, then took it to go because there was no way I wanted to stick around after waiting 30 minutes. That sandwich was dry af. I didn't even finish it. Definitely wasn't worth the price I paid. I told my friend about my experience. She told me she tried their food too. She said it was "Meh." Gawd, I should have consulted her before going. People will still come here since there aren't a lot of lunch options in this area. Some changes are coming though. We have a local bakery moving in on 5th Ave and PCC should be coming back so I'm looking forward to that.

Yelp
Came here on a bit of a whim just looking for something quick before we got back to exploring and was absolutely shocked by how good it was. I thought it was just going to be a slightly elevated Seattle-esque version of Panera but was terribly wrong (in the best way). The sweet potato soup wasn't my favorite, however, the Turkey Avo is the sandwich of my dreams!! I ordered 1/2 sandwich so I am unsure if it was supposed to include two halves but am not complaining. It is packed with ingredients, and has a perfect combo of freshness from the avocado, smokiness from the Gouda, and a touch spice from the sweet hot peppers, jalapeño salsa aioli. 12/10.
google avatar

Gab G.

Yelp
God, I wish this place existed in NYC. I've been a few times to the one in Santa Monica and was pleased to discover on a recent trip to Seattle that they also have a few locations there. Can't go wrong with the impossible taco salad or Mediterranean crunch salad. Employees are also super friendly, and they have a bathroom (ask for the code).
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
Quick and easy lunch on a rainy weekday. Stopped in with a colleague and this location is just a short walk from our office. No line, so we walked right up and ordered. They have a good variety of options and my colleague got a soup and half sandwich while I went with the full chicken parm dip. The flavor was good and I appreciated the crispy texture as well as the included dipping sauce. Overall, a good experience and I would come back.

Yelp
I lived in CA for a few years and moved back to WA and was excited to se a Mendocino Farms on my way home after doing some research at the library. When I lived in CA the companies I worked with always catered from here and Goop and I have been to locations in CA there are quite a few locations there. The one nice thing that you expect from chain resturaunts is consistency regardless of what location, city or state you are. This location is a dud for sure... There were plenty of people working and it was NOT at a busy time. There were in total 4 people who had already recieved thier orders and eating and 2 people including me waiting. Service: Everyone is really since-very politie all good there. Quality of food: This is where is was really odd, when I got home to enjoy my sandwich the bread when you picked it up pasicly disnigrated into bread crumbs...imagine your sandwich being encased in panko bread crumbs without the bread. So you can imagine very dry, it was missing all the inside dresseing/sauces...basically it was dry bread crumbs, turkey, tomato, greens nothing else. Then I got the pasta salad... it was a small but I counted and I counted 5 pasta shells and the rest was swimming in dressing. So I went home and I added mayo (it was supposed to be a avacado mash and an aoli). Re-breaded it with my own bread....and I cooked up some elbow macaroni to add to my salad dressing. You ask why didn't I go back?-I was already home and I live 20 minutes-walking- and I was just tired-and I would have drove but there is no parking near there. I did call up the corp. office and they did refund my money and apologized. I'll just stick to eating this brand when I am in CA.

Yelp
Pretty good! Cous cous used to have way more cauliflower 10 years ago. Hardly any now. Do not get the chocolate chip cookie. It's dry and very disappointing. I was surprised, as everything from Mendo is usually pretty good.
google avatar

Stuart S.

Yelp
The staff was friendly even though my order was placed right before closing time. It's in a great location and very clean inside. The best part was the food, very good and exceeded my family's expectations!
google avatar

Lynn L.

Yelp
I loved the combo meal I got! It was fresh and I got to try two items from their menu! It was my first time here and I would definitely come back again because everything was made quickly, fresh, and deliciously well seasoned! The decor was also too cute with all the farming and cow decorations. It put me in such a great mood! Would highly recommend to anyone craving a yummy salad!
google avatar

Yelp
What an awesome soup, salad, and sandwich place! First impressions is the space is large and has a nice vibe to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining the choices. As far as the food goes, we opted in for the half no so friend chicken sandwich with dill potato salad and the half roast beef sandwich with Dan Dan noodle salad. Both sandwiches were crafted to perfection. The chicken was crispy and went fantastic with the pickle sauce. As far as the roast beef goes, it was one of the best sandwiches I've had. As for the drinks, we tried the passion fruit black tea and the get your greens. Both were absolutely fantastic and the greens was the best I have tasted. Can't wait to come back again soon and try more dishes. No complaints.

Anna T.

Yelp
What a great surprise to find this awesome place. I had the Pink Lady Beet and Goat Cheese salad to go. Outstanding. Bountiful and I don't just mean with lettuce. Way more than I could eat. My friend order the Thai Mango Salad. We both loved our choice and neither of us could finish. I might suggest sharing a salad and getting a classic item. The interior is very clean and very fair prices for the freshness, quality and quantity of the food.
google avatar

Kendra S.

Yelp
The restaurant was very clean. Music was good and it was very quick to order my food. The cashier was helpful and the food was good. I had the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada. The dressing was very light and the salad was very crunchy. I also had a guava lemonade which tasted like they freshly squeezed the lemons themselves. I forgot to take a picture of it before I finished. The website has great pictures of the different foods they offer.

Yelp
This review is based on my few trips to Mendocino farms. I really liked their chicken farro soup it was pretty good, tomato soup was average. I loved all their lemonades, however had a mixed feelings about sandwiches. I didn't like "not so fried chicken" didn't felt anything close and why chicken is cold? Usually chicken comes hot in this type of sandwich. The other one I tried with chicken caprese pesto was very good. Peruvian sandwich was good too it comes warm and meet is very delisious. I went during weekends and the place was empty, but one time I came there for a lunch on Monday and place was packed. Online order would be 1 h so I had to stay in the queue around 20 minutes. I understand that they use quality ingredients but it's kind of pricey sandwiches and some of them are very average that one can make at home.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Just had their grand opening on 9/6. The food was all good and fresh. I like how their salad had a lot of herbs like mint and cilantro and the portion was big enough to even share. The soup was hot and I haven't had a lemony soup around here before and I really liked it. I would go again!
google avatar

Ed H.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch with nice clean interior space and super tasty options. Started with a cup of Greek lemon chicken and farro soup and the flavors were fantastic. Then I had the Black tie turkey club and it was delish! Two for two. Counter service. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
I love a bang for your Buck! I was very impressed with both the pricing and quality of food here. I went with the 1/2 club and side combo for $11.95 and loved every bite! Will definitely be coming here for my lunch breaks from now on. The Greek lemon chicken soup was so yummy and filling too!

Yelp
Standard Mendocino Farms located on 4th Avenue in Seattle. I am a huge fan of Mendocino Farms and was in the area last November and starving so I stopped in to get an order of the Curry Couscous to go. The Curry Couscous is my all-time favorite side and I am borderline addicted to it which is exactly why I couldn't pass by a Mendo without getting just a little bit (medium size). The store looked clean and wasn't too busy although it was a holiday weekend. I believe Nataja took my order and was friendly enough. Thank you Mendocino Farms for opening more and more locations so foodie fans can indulge coast to coast!

Yelp
So far this has been my favorite food place during my short trip to Seattle. Loved my food as well as my wife's! Everything was just amazing.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
I ordered the Caesar not expecting much. Now I can't stop thinking about how good it was. The salad was fresh and it came with the best topping, crunchy quinoa. The dressing also tasted like it was homemade where it was a thick texture packed with flavor but not overly salty. I don't usually like dressing either. The avocado was the best colored and creamy soft texture I've ever had. I ordered it through delivery so I can only imagine it must taste even better in person.

Aaron O.

Yelp
Chinese chicken salad was good, ready fast and I could modify my order to my diet. Great spot to grab a super quick lunch between my airport/hotel run and my office upon arriving in town.

Pablo B.

Yelp
Food was very good, and staff was friendly and helpful. We had the Thai Mango salad, and a Prosciutto and Chicken sandwich...

Kelly M.

Yelp
Very similar to Panera. The soup and salad were fine but what really got me upset was I ordered a cookie thinking they must be killer bomb cookies because they were $3.50 each. They were like Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at a fast food place
google avatar

Janet N.

Yelp
The Peruvian steak sandwich is to die for! The steak is marinated to perfection with a Spicy aji amarillo which I personally think is more sweet than spicy but still delicious. Oaxacan cheese is a personal favorite of mine so I loved it on a sandwich too. Mixed with the steak, it's almost like a cheesesteak! It's topped with herb aioli, red onions, tomatoes, shredded romaine and served on a toasted potato roll. It's one of the tastiest sandwiches I have ever had and I constantly come back to it.
google avatar

Lydia K.

Yelp
Delicious! Excellent service. Everyone is so kind and friendly here. Vibes are immaculate. Definitely recommend for lunch.

Kelly F.

Yelp
Delicious quinoa salad. The chicken was okay - it was just plain chicken on top. The crunch in the salad was delicious.
google avatar

Geoffrey S.

Yelp
Greatly enjoyed the Chimichurri Steak & Bacon sandwich and Southern Macaroni Salad. First time in!

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Food was good but the service was very slow. There were several tables waiting for food and I don't mind waiting but 3 of the 4 of us got our food however our 4th person didn't until I went and asked for it.

Cooper E.

Yelp
Great salads but they won't mix in the dressing. That seems like a core competency for a salad restaurant.
google avatar

Neen T.

Yelp
I work around the corner, and this spot is a great go-to for lunch and occasional catering at work. The pesto chicken caprese sandwich was moist and the portion was excellent - plenty of chicken to get me through the day. I also love getting the avocado and quinoa ensalada, it's one of my favorite salads of all-time. It's perfectly balanced with greens, fats, and all sorts of textures that make for a well-rounded bite. Great with or without added protein, but adding the roasted chicken is a welcome extra kick. Usually fast service - I don't often stay long as I go as a grab-and-go, but there is plenty of seating. A welcome addition to downtown Seattle.

Yelp
Mendocino Farms will always be a yes!!!!!! My absolute favourite sandwiches!! Quick, easy and so perfectly delicious, Mendocino Farms never fails to impress

Yelp
Welcome to the neighborhood! Deliciousness has arrived to Downtown Seattle! I Just picked up my first meal and I can't rave enough! The pork belly banh mi sandwich was amazing. The staff could not have been nicer and was super helpful! I can't wait to try the Not So Fried chicken sandwich tomorrow.

Finally after a long wait Mendocino is open in the Rainier Square NW corner. Feels like a great alternate to downtown fresh food lunch places. Great selections of salads, sandwiches and soups. Downtown location abutting PCC market is not that easy. Wish Mendocino a great success. Can't wait to try out their specialties. Actual star rating will be updated once I have a chance to immerse in full lunch experience.
