LA's Best Martinis & More, According to Kyle Mooney - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"“This is sad, but I love the Disney parks. Mendocino Terrace has become our first stop. My wife will get some dry sauvignon blanc, and if it’s a special occasion, I might get some sparkling wine. There’s typically not a big line and the music is sick. The only thing I can compare it to is like when you go to a gift shop at Yosemite and they have CDs called Guitars In The Forest. It’s fully that, always.”" - brant cox

My go to if I’m in DCA. I usually book a reservation so I never have to wait. I constantly order the salmon and Alfredo. You can’t go wrong with those. Food never misses service is always good. And it’s one of my favorite places to people watch as I’m relaxing from shuffling around for rides. It’s a little pricey but nothing more then what you would expect from a sit down at the parks.

I was at a restaurant was greeted at the front desk and they told me we could go up to the terrace and we sat down at a table and waiter greeted us, asking what we wanted, but while we were waiting, a woman named Lin walked up to us and said that we needed to check in first. We went up to the front and she signed us in. After signing us in she had us wait when she said that there were no tables available, but there were clearly 8 open tables. Eventually she said I have a table ready and brought me back to the same table that I was originally at! Terrible service and completely disappointing. This is not what I expected.

I love coming to the Mendocino Terrace for wine and cheese tasting! However I do miss my favorite CM here named Tony. He was AMAZING! So knowledgeable about wine, and he remembered us everytime we visited. There was span of about 6 months between our first 2 visits as a matter of fact, and he still remembered us! That's service. Sadly he's no longer there. I do still enjoy their selection of very fine wines and the cheese and chocolates available. It's a little pricey, but hey you're at Disneyland so you just suck it up and drink your wine :) Salud!

Most stuff at Disneyland is 5 Stars by the experience, however when the focus is alcohol the vibe can get complicated. Sad the Park is striving more and more to get people running up the tab. Thank you Cast Members, Imagineers and Creators for all your hard work! Love and miss you all. #templemastery

This was such a pleasant place to enjoy lunch. It physically removes you from the crowds for a bit, even though you still hear the noise. It is worth the break and you can enjoy wine here!

My go to place. Premium wines different from the ones offered downstairs. The GoGi chardonnay from Kurt Russell is recommended.

Yelp
Love the concept of this location and ability to mobile order, but be advised mobile orders are often forgotten. I waited 15 minutes after marking "I'm here," before I went up to inquire. They apologized, but I wonder if it would have ever been made if I didn't approach. Love the cranberry mule and hope mobile orders are not forgotten if I visit in the future.

Yelp
I love this small walk up al fresco wine bar! They have my favorite Moscato! It's located next to Wine Country Trattoria and below the Magic Key Terrace inside Disney California Adventure Park. I love that it overlooks Carsland - this was were we would hang out during its construction. It's also located near the real grape vines! We get to check out the grapes as they grow throughout the year. There is also signs to label the different types of grapes grown on property. It's a bit out of reach to grab the grapes but fun to watch them grow into bunches. This area is pretty quiet most of the time and the lines are not crazy long. I like it here as we can grab quick non-alcoholic drinks, wines and beer. There is some seating in the area available. They have a generous variety of wines including reds, whites, sparking, ports, bottled beers and ciders. Nivole Moscato D'Asti - great sweet sparkling wine, I do prefer the sweeter types Service can be hit or miss lately but usually okay. Recommended!

Yelp
Located right next to a full-service restaurant that serves complete meals and offers a wide variety of wine selections, Mendocino Terrace is really more of a counter for wine flights that it is a full-blown wine bar. Do you have some light pickings, such as fruit, platters and other lunch-y type items, but the real purpose is to grab some glasses of wine and have a quick layover before you get on with your day. Like the other options in the section of the park, the atmosphere is very relaxed and chill. This area will probably be significantly more enjoyable for adults, and it is for a party with small children, it remains one of my favorite hideaways at any Disney park.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a glass of wine and charcuterie board before heading over to watch the MSEP. This quaint outdoor patio is hidden upstairs above the wine terrace, which makes it is a really nice retreat from the crowds of DCA. Seating is limited and they do close when it's at seating capacity. The wine list is very limited so if you're looking for your usual favorites you won't find them here. Each wine that's available has a connection to Disney in some way; kinda cool to read the stories. We decided to order a mixed flight and try a few out. Sadly, the stories turned out to be more spectacular than the wines. Nothing worthy of ordering a full pour or bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie plate at which time we were told they were sold out. Can't imagine Disney running out of cheese and bread by 5:30 pm. Eventually, we did get a version of what was on the menu, sans some items. Although nice that they were able to put something together for us (and the 2 tables next to us), it was disappointing that it arrived 20 minutes after our wine. The main reason I gave only 3 stars is due to the poor service more than the lackluster wine list and availability of menu items. Our waitress took more than 10 minutes to approach our table after we were seated , had no recommendations when we asked about the wine choices, disappeared for another 10-15 minutes before we actually were able to order, and only reappeared in time to drop the check off. I think it was just our waitress because other tables had very attentive staff who ultimately helped us out in her absence. Despite theses issues I would still recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Excellent place to relax and refuel. Wines and yummy snacks Located in the park itself. Will return. Can be crowded and long wait time so plan ahead Great views and wines
