Between this location and the other one, I'm not sure pizza in DC gets better than this. Right now this location is a little slow, which is too bad because it deserves ALL the hype. But because it's pretty slow right now, it's got a really nice, quiet atmosphere. This time I actually decided to try something new (shocking, I know), and along with my usual Diovola (seriously, my favorite pizza in DC), we tried the Di Ettora. It was nice to branch out into something new! I'm happy to share that it's also fantastic. The prosciutto was fresh and tasty, and the Parmesan was delicious. Honestly, the Brookland location was one of my favorites when I lived in DC, but this one is equally as delicious with a great atmosphere.
We also tried the Burro D'Oliva. The spicy oil (red one) was delicious but DEFINITELY spicy (my lips are a little swollen lol), and the other two were flavorful and mild. All three were delicious, and the bread was baked to perfection. One of the biggest mistakes you could make in DC is thinking about checking out this restaurant (either location, but honestly this one is a nicer space itself) and decide not to eat here. The service is fantastic and every employee is kind, helpful, and willing to talk you through any questions.
Please check it out! Let's keep this FANTASTIC local pizza Place operational. Amazing food.
My boyfriend dove into all of the food, so alas, all I have a photo of is the Diavola, but it's my favorite pizza in all of DC, so, seriously, check out this location and order this pizza. In the photo, you can also see small white containers holding the infused olive oils from our burro d'oliva. We used the leftovers with our crusts too.
