"Menorca Experimental is a hotel located near Cala Llucalari on Menorca's southern coast. It was opened by Pierre-Charles Cros and the Experimental Group in 2019, offering creative cocktails and a unique design inspired by Pablo Picasso's imagined Menorcan home."

An incredible meal. We couldn’t recommend this more. The food was out of this world. Seabass cervice was outstanding and the staff were beautifully attentive, even giving us a special honeymoon glass of cava. A laid back but romantic hidden gem. Well worth a visit.

We only stayed on night but so wish it could have been longer. Stunning hotel in a stunning location and amazing clifftop views only a 10 minute walk away. |We spent a lovely afternoon lounging by the pool, where complimentary fruit skewers were served. We have eaten at many restaurants in Menorca over the years but dinner here is one of the best we have had, breakfast was equally as good. To top it all super friendly staff.

We greatly enjoyed our visit here, staying for four days. The staff did an amazing job of battling with a genuinely 'once every five years' Biblical deluge that unsettled everything (across the Balearics). Food was simple and delicious, perhaps lacking some variety (do they really need to serve exactly the same menu every day?). The room was beautifully fitted out and super tastefully finished. A few improvements or suggestions: the breakfast was the least impressive part of the catering - not nearly enough fruit options, too much stodgy bakery fare. The lighting on the terrace was perfect in some areas but felt more like a KGB interrogation room in others, it was so evisceratingly bright. The sunloungers were skewed heavily towards lie flat beds: not great for reading or anything other than lying flat. All First World problems for sure, and we will be back. Yet things that could be easily fixed and would benefit the guests.

First experience of an Experimental. Loved this one. Brilliant location 10 mins walk from stunning sea views, food incredible, gardens gorgeous. Good for couples or families with v young children, but not really a kids place. Spa great too. Oh yes and the food was excellent as well!

We came here for dinner on our last night of our trip. Beautiful location on the patio where food was served. Food was delicious! They suggest sharing plates which we are a big fan of. Amazing mixologist putting on an impressive show and knew his alcohol. Great atmosphere, lots of chatter but not too loud. I would definitely recommend going

The food was excellent and the service was also really good. Dishes were well thought even if the lamb ribs were a bit burned and lacking salt. Still the best restaurant we tried in Menorca by far

I had a lovely stay at Menorca Experimental. The property is beautiful and interiors are impeccable throughout. Swimming pool is lovely. Dinner menu is good and the vibe on the outdoor terrace area is great. Lunch menu is limited and nothing special. I have no complaints about my stay overall as I enjoyed it - staff were sufficiently friendly, but I wouldn't say the service here blows your mind nor do they go out of their way to make you feel warmly welcomed. It was my 30th birthday celebration on the weekend I stayed here and none of the staff noticed (despite my sister, who made the booking, telling them in advance). Location of hotel is in the middle of nowhere and if you aren't driving yourself/renting a car, you will have to rely on expensive taxis to get around the island otherwise there is nothing to really do in the vicinity of the hotel.
