"Cuisine of the moment, full of freshness and with spot-on flavours. Among the classics, on the menu all year round, the frogs' legs, garlic and parsley or themousse au chocolat pralinéare good enough to spark a riot. The decor has the good taste to make itself discreet. The small sidewalk terrace is welcome in summer." - Michelin Inspector
Great meal in the 19th! The three course meal is an amazing value.
Recommend the frogs legs no matter how you order.

We took saint jacques and escagots for entre, both are super good. Canette and possion for plats, I prefer the possion than canette. For dessert, we took feuilletté pomme vanille and mousse au chocolat, pomme feuilletté is better, mousse au chocolat is a bit heavy. Cost performance was high, service was quite good, Im definitly going back again!

We had dinner for the st. Valentine ´s day. From the reservation to the service, everything was perfect. Dishes are fresh and delicate and the staff is sympathetic.

Fairly nice restaurant in the area, the staff was helpful, the food even though it was not overwhelming it was good, the starter ( sardines) was actually the best dish, the fish was perfectly cooked however the canette was a bit " difficult" too eat. The wines, too expensive. I recommend if one is around, but I would no go there on purpose

We had lunch here while visiting Paris. Wow. Just wow. Excellent food and service. For two of us we had three courses, drink and coffee for £110. It was unbelievable. I recommend it to anyone for any occasion.

We travelled 40 min by metro to get to Mensae, as we read multiple reviews and were intrigued.
I would say the quality of the food not to my taste, except the desert whom saved the whole experience.
I had the pea soup, the chicken supreme and the strawberry dessert. It’s definitely upscale and to a lot of peoples taste but not mine.
The service was cold and also not optimal, my partner keeps on saying this is the usual in Europe, but I usually would disagree but not here.
We finished our food and waited 30 min to get the waiters attention to pay the bill. Although there was not a lot of people.
Overal I would recommend it to people who want some French cuisine for a descent price.

A real hidden gem IMHO. The food was so amazing, best dinner in Paris after multiple trips and many restaurants.
Complex flavours and textures, everything complimentary and contrasting in sometimes surprising ways. We did the 6 course tasting and only one dish were we did not love and it was still good, just not jaw dropping haha. Our absolute favorite dish was the chocolate mousse, defying the laws of physics to be that light and yet that rich!
Atmosphere is a somewhat basic, still nice, but not fancy or especially elegant. Definitely not on same level as the food, but that's OK with me.
We had a couple of glasses of white whine that were very nice but nothing special. Bottle of red was recommended and was great.

Always researching for new places for us to try on our annual Paris trip, I saw some great reviews for Mensae and guess what they were right! Intimate, small and simple decor with a really friendly and knowledgeable team. Great set menu of 3 and 6 courses are an option which are really good value but we went for the a couple of courses (iberico ham and a roast lamb shoulder) both to share and both substantial, flavoursome and delicious. Too full for a pudding but fellow diners seemed to be enjoying theirs immensely. Wine was fab too. One of the best orange wines I’ve had from a small regional list and very reasonably priced. This place is not touristy but was very busy for a Tuesday evening so clearly loved by the locals and I can see why. Music was pretty cool too - even dropped a tune onto my playlist! Not pretentious or flash just simply great food and wine delivered by with attentive and friendly service. Highly recommend.
