After Woolsey Fire, Some Malibu Restaurants Are Barely Hanging on | Eater LA

"A twelve-seat omakase food-and-drink concept at a beach club, it temporarily closed in late November and will not reopen; the chef plans to shift focus to a library-bar omakase cocktail residency at a Hollywood hotel that runs through August." - Mona Holmes

When I heard about studying abroad, I was very worried about my English ability and whether I could keep up with the classes. However, the teachers were friendly and there was a space where I could speak freely without fear of making mistakes, so my attitude towards English, which I had previously felt was weak, changed dramatically and I started to feel like I wanted to learn more! I was able to learn things that I couldn't learn in Japanese schools, such as the sense of native speakers and how native speakers pronounce words, and I was able to use English without feeling embarrassed, so my English improved even after one week, but if I stayed for a long period of time, I think I would be able to acquire English skills that are incomparable to what I was before I came to study abroad. I learned the fun of learning and using English, so I want to study English a lot when I return to Japan! It was really fun.
