My birthday tonight and had a very special meal with my wife. The food is simply magical and it always surprises! I'm not sure why Gordon doesn't have a Michelin star. The music whilst eating enhanced my evening as it's the stuff I listen to. A joy, a pleasure and a real talented chef. We shall be back! Special.

OMG. The best meal and the best experience ever for an amazing meal. The chef, Gordon Jones, is open, fun and super talented. The courses are ever changing and a surprise when you show up. Only after the meal is complete so you get a copy of the menu. It’s expensive but worth it.

We went here as a birthday treat. The set menu is a surprise 6 course taster menu and every dish was interesting delicious and wonderfully presented. I had the wine flight and my partner had the non alcoholic flight the pairing with the food worked really well. The taster menu changes all the time depending on what is in season what is available or what the chef’s are inspired to cook. It’s quite a small place about 20 covers and when we went at lunchtime . The pace of the dishes and the explanation of the food, especially the wine was great. Thanks for a lovely memorable experience.

Best restaurant in Bristol (that I've been to). Excellent service, Gordon was an amazing chef and so passionate about everything. The mushroom course would be my death row last meal!

This is literally the best restaurant we've ever been to. From the moment we walked in to be greeted by Gordon and staff by name, to our last goodbyes, we were treated impeccably. The ambiance was fantastic, the music and decor so fun and added to the over all experience. It was such a happy place! Lastly, the food was absolutely perfect! It was so creatively and beautifully plated and tasted even better. We literally savored every single bite! We are from the U.S. and I would plan a trip back to Bath, simply to have this experience again. Gordon is truly an artist and his team was dedicated, kind and so professional. Worth every penny and more.

GREAT tasting menu style dinner. Hip vibe in a cool little place. It was relaxed but upscale. Staff and service were amazing. Food is outstanding in presentation and flavor. Definitely a food highlight of our trip. Chef/owner is super cool! Check out their front door.

Absolutely perfect. Loved everything - the food was exceptional and every member of staff so welcoming and friendly. What a special place :) If I was being hyper critical it was very load (music) the night we came. Not expected for a small intimate restaurant and a romantic meal. But this would not put us off coming again. Thank you for a wonderful evening ❤️

A wonderful restaurant in Bath Menu Gordon Jones Restaurant is not a glitzy, big and noisy restaurant. It's away from the "in" spots but it gives you what you want - Great food, not outrageous prices, small place that is not noisy and you can have a good conversation while savoring the excellent food. You will not be disappointed!
