Went here with my family and we all loved it! The ramen and poke were super tasty, the service was amazing, and the vibe was so nice. Proud that the owner is Mongolian — i would definitely love to come again if i'm lucky, also the food was super delicious and the size were huge too, thought it was very affordable.

Google
We have been coming to Menya for 4+ years now. Historically it has been a fast local spot to grab good poke bowls and ramen. We revisited recently and found they are now a sit down with table service and you can no longer order at the front or the restaurant. This was honestly a disappointing change. We felt like the service was significantly slower. The food was great but when you expect fast casual and then get seated and asked for a tip it changes the experience. Also want to add that we noticed the poke bowls no longer come with avocado and this was also a disappointing change

Visiting Denver for a Phillies / Rockies series at Coors field, we decided to get lunch @ Menya Ramen and Poke after seeing the place on a morning walk next door. The food was flavorful and the portions were abundant. Service was bland but nice. The place is small and you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Nothing spectacular but I would go back. I had the Kimchi Ramen bowl, My spouse had the Poke Bowl and we split the Bulgogi Wraps. We sat outside which was a nice sunny DENVER spring day!

Google
The waiter was very kind, the food came very fast and was amazing. You can make your own poke bowls as well as your own ramen and the prices are great. Overall it was a 10/10 and we would definitely come again!

Google
I came from Japan and searching ramen like Japanese one but this restaurant’s ramen is 10/10. I almost ordered half of menu and take out lot of things me and my boyfriend’s new favorite place. I will go again also service Zaya was so nice to us. Really recommend this place if you like Japanese food. Cheap too👍🏻

✨ Food: I ordered their special ramen, and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The broth had that deep, umami punch I love, and the noodles were firm without being chewy. 🪑 Atmosphere: Cozy, with warm lighting and an open kitchen vibe. You can watch the chefs in action, which is always fun. It’s not too big, so expect a bit of a wait during peak hours. 👍 Service: Friendly and quick. Our server helped with recommendations and kept checking in without being intrusive.

Ordered the Menya Special Poke Bowl and was pleasantly surprised by how big it was. Comes with miso soup too. Fast and friendly service.

Google
This was genuinely one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at in a long time. The service was exceptional, everyone was super kind, and the food was absolutely amazing! The flavors were melting on my tongue. They even gave us an extra boba tea which was so good! I really recommend this restaurant to anyone that might pass it. It has everything you could want, great food, great service, and very kind people. 10/10.

Yelp
Casual. Clean. Easy. Delicious! This is more of a fast casual place but it checks all the boxes for some quick yummy ramen with a good chill vibe. Service is pretty fast. They have a good selection of condiments. Their gluten free section is a little boring but they have one at the register and are good about cross contamination.

Yelp
With the price of $15.50, the ramen has surprisingly tasty broth and lots of toppings. It's almost entirely self service where you order and clean up after yourself, but they do bring food out to you. A great and delicious ramen spot that is close to my Airbnb.
google avatar

Yelp
The flavor profile for the spicy chicken ramen was missing something. Service was fast, got our meal within 10-15 minutes. there was nothing extravagant or amazing but also nothing bad about the place either. definitely better ramen places.
google avatar

Yelp
Great little ramen and Poki bowl restaurant. Friendly staff and food is great. A must try in Denver. Highly recommend the pokey bowls too.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so cute, I loved the minimalistic atmosphere. The chicken udon was good and the dumplings were delicious. Everything was ready fast, I would definitely come back if I'm in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious, so juicy and so much flavor. The boba was so good! Service was fast and super friendly. The place was small but cozy. Would definitely recommend :)

Yelp
Craving a poke bowl as I made my way home from my morning classes, I decided to make a little pit stop near Union Station at Menya Ramen and Poke. The LOCATION: Locate at the foot of the Millenium Bridge in the heart of Downtown Denver and close to Union Station, Menya Ramen and Poke is perfectly situated for the busy commuter. The SPACE: I really enjoyed the set-up of the restaurant. There's a ton of different seating, and it has a really fun aesthetic. I think the only drawback I noticed was that it smelled a little odd during my visit. I'm hoping it was just a one off, so I won't hold that against them. They do have a patio space that would be great for soaking up those sunny Colorado days. The EATS: For my meal I opted for the DIY Poke Bowl with the following: Poke tuna, poke salmon, seaweed salad, avocado and crab meat over rice. You then choose additional toppings to customize it just how you'd like. I always add edamame, ginger, and avocado. It was definitely fresh and delicious! The DRINKS: While I decided to sip on water during my visit, they do offer a variety of soda, tea, sake, and beer for your enjoyment! While I chose to not get an RTD pass this semester, I'd pop back by Menya Ramen and Poke to check out more of their menu offerings if I find myself in the area again!

Yelp
Such a good spot for whatever you're craving! They have a wide range of options here from rice bowls, ramen, poke, dumplings, etc. I've tried the ramen and it's super flavorful! A go-to when I'm going out to lunch with coworkers. I haven't tried the poke yet but a coworker got it while I was with her and it looked really good! I recently tried the fried dumplings and the Korean bulgogi buns and loved them! The dumplings were fried perfectly and the fillings inside were also delicious! The bobs comes in these adorable containers, which was a fun surprise! The service here is always very quick, making it that fast, easy, and tasty option when going on your lunch break!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite before heading to the park. Ordered the Menya Special. Food came out very fast and staff was very nice. Welcoming building and easy to understand layout. Broth was good and charsiu was cooked well. Definitely have had better bowls of ramen but was still not let down. Will be back.

Yelp
Edamame is bomb!!!! It's so salty. I also love their veggie spring rolls. Always good, friendly service
google avatar

Madi H.

Yelp
Although this isn't the best veggie ramen I've had in Denver, it definitely hits the spot when the craving crawls in. It's right by Millenium Bridge and Commons Park, so it's the perfect stop on a nice spring day stroll. Can't wait to go again soon, maybe after a trip to Denver MCA :)
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
I honestly don't know how you package an udon order... with no udon? Then label broth wrong too? Stars for being edible and warm I guess. The location on 16th street is WAY better! They did not understand the assignment...
google avatar

Courtney T.

Yelp
My friend made reservations, which made the experience even better, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. I ordered the Chashu ramen, and it exceeded my expectations. The broth boasted a rich and robust flavor, while the noodles had the perfect chewiness, and the chashu was tender and bursting with flavor. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys delicious ramen.
google avatar

Anthony T.

Yelp
Stopped in here yesterday, the food is phenomenal. I got a poke-bowl and something else that I can not remember the name of. I guess I'll just have to go again and figure out what it was.
google avatar

Tim J.

Yelp
The bulgogi + chicken udon was bussin. The portion sizes are large! Staff seemed a bit annoyed at us picking up food?
google avatar

Carissa C.

Yelp
Very good and fresh food. My family enjoyed everything we had. The spicy chicken has some heat! Recommend for a quick lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Well it's been a minute since I've done a hungover takeout order. Good for me! But alas today I needed some ramen (at 10am lol) As we all know not many ramen places are open this early; luckily Menya Ramen was. I got the Spicy Miso Ramen. I will say there wasn't much spice but it still had good flavor. I almost wonder if it was Chashu by accident as it did look somewhat creamy. Either way not a big deal; it tasted good and got the job done in helping my hangover while I watched The Jungle Cruise in bed. It's been a very productive day as you can tell. I have to say the Chicken Karaage was pretty meh. The pieces were somewhat rubbery and I did end up sharing quite a bit with my faithful steed (aka my German Shepherd) as he was very interested in the chicken. So he got hooked up lucky for him. Either way I would get the ramen again and try the poke but skip the Karaage.

Yelp
I had a a few min to sit down and eat something real quick, had the menya Ramen and I will say it was quite tasty. Customer service was okay didn't really interact much, it's a order first pay and sit kinda place. The ramen was different it has these leaves which really changed the taste of the food, kinda made you feel you were eating something really healthy. I can't really say anything bad about this place! Definitely has a lunch feel to it, it had some TV's and the location is in a plaza.
google avatar

Symone M.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with my coworkers as we were all craving either ramen or poke and a blessing it's walking distance from our office. A blessing for there not to be a lunch crowd because we were able to order and get our food very quickly. I was skeptical on the ramen at first because ever since I've had it in Japan, not many places state side compete but I was pleasantly surprised with my ramen! It was delicious and tasted very close to the ramen I've had in Japan. The flavor was spot on the the noodles tasted authentic which is where many restaurants miss. This spot will be in my rotation on my visits to Denver!
google avatar

Maddie M.

Yelp
I am yet again still on the hunt for Colorado's best ramen. This is a good spot to recommend until that day comes. Cozy little restaurant. Flavorful broth and tender chashu. They even have a small self serve toppings selection of fried onions, chili oil, ginger, etc. poke/sushi/apps also available.
google avatar

Itay S.

Yelp
Poky ball is the best! We were wandering around the Colorado river in downtown Denver and found this place very nice people sushi and tuna top quality highly recommend it
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Food is great but poor service. Our door dash order was messed up and delivered wrong and we could not get a hold of the restaurant because the phone was not on, resulting in us having to drive to it and resolving the matter there. They didn't apologize about it and we had to wait there while they remade the initial order. Was not compensated for time spent and still charged the full amount.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Really solid ramen. Can't go wrong with the tonkotsu or crispy spicy tuna!
google avatar

Alina T.

Yelp
So I've been here so many times & my stomach has always beaten my camera to the food. Everything I've had here is amazing, especially the Menya poke bowl. It has any/everything I've ever wanted in a poke bowl and out of a meal. The sauce is subtle but delicious and the quality of the ingredients here are so high that you don't want to cover them up with so many sauces! It also comes along with a bowl of miso soup, something that's especially wonderful in cooling denver evenings. The Japanese Curry is prime as well for those who aren't as big on raw fish. Quality and consistency is so high here, I honestly haven't been able to justify going to other poke restaurants here in Denver... I also love the Menya II location right next to the park and the waterfalls, it's always so peaceful on their patio in the evenings! Staff is always welcoming and service is quick here as well.

Yelp
I am torn about this establishment. First and foremost, I went here for Dinner. I cannot really see what they put coz especially if you see at the bar, the lighting can be "deceiving" or perhaps its all my fault, due to "poor vision". I ordered DIY or CYOB with White Rice ($10.50), with the first protein is FREE, in which I opt for the SPICY Tuna, and extra SPICY Salmon ($2) I also order the Bulgogi Bun which was at ($4.50). The BEEF BULGOGI Bun, comes only 1 piece. In terms of flavoring, it was just boring flavors of some sauce. DOES NOT WOW me all. The portion can be a little personally for me. Remember MORE proteins you add, you will charged more.. in which I don't mind paying at all, but for the toppings, I don't taste any MASAGO at all even when I ask for Crab Mix, Mango, Masago and Seaweed Salad as part of my toppings options. I also don't understand why they OVERCHARGED me with EXTRA CRAB MIX ($2) when I don't ask for EXTRA CRAB MIX. **SIGH** Maybe it was a miscommunication. Inside the establishment can be tiny, though you can seat at the bar. There are several seating outside aka the PATIO when weather permits. LOCATION is PRIME. I know that this area, RENT IS INDEED HIGH. But with regards to the quality, hmm... I am unsure and with the lighting inside especially at the Bar area, I cannot identify what is what being put in my bowl order. *SIGH* I have to switch on the flash mode on my digital camera to actually see what's in my Dinner. In terms of flavors, it does not wow me as much as I was hoping for. *DOUBLE SIGH* Maybe its a fluke. Maybe I ordered the wrong items in the Menu. Yelp
I had been wanting to try Menya for a while and finally went for it last night. The menu is fairly extensive, with both poke and ramen options, as well as appetizers. I went with the spicy chicken ramen, which was ready in only 5 minutes. The chicken and broth had a nice flavor and had a kick without being painfully spicy-- Almost tasted like pieces of hot chicken wings floating around in the broth. My noodles were cooked perfectly and were not too mushy, and the soft boiled egg was truly soft boiled. Pretty reasonably priced at around $15 for a bowl of ramen. Not the most amazing ramen I have ever had, but for the price and convenience, I will be back.
google avatar

Jennie K.

Yelp
Gotta be one of the best ramen and poke place I've been to. We went on a Friday... around 6pm and it was surprisingly quite empty. I saw that many were taking out but people eating at the restaurant were only a few...actually I think there was one other table besides us. The inside was clean with many tables and a bar area. You order like you do at a fast food place... order first and sit down. The staff bring the food to your table rather quickly. We ordered one ramen and one DIY poke bowl. Both dishes were very satisfying!! The ramen broth was so rich, noodles cooked just right...just enough in terms of the size. The poke bowl was great too. I had the spicy salmon with 4 toppings (you can get 6 toppings for an extra dollar) and spicy mayo. The bowl was huge! I couldn't finish it. Overall, great place for easy quick ramen or poke. The price is reasonable too!

Yelp
After a bad experience at a similar spot (will not throw shade on another restaurant in a diff review) I am now a fan of raw fish and even my kids could eat it. We documented it and they let us video inside. Staff was so kind and outgoing, answering all out questions and NOT making us feel like we need to rush. It was the whole experience. More places should be like this. Thank you and we plan on being back when it is warmer. Mahala

Yelp
A friend and I came here for a quick dinner this week. I haven't had poke since a trip to Hawaii and we both thought this sounded good. I liked the vibe of the place and we found easy parking on a Tuesday night. The staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. I opted for a build your own bowl with brown rice, tuna, avocado, masago, ginger and the sriracha sauce. The whole dish was totally overpowered by the amount of sauce on the bowl. All I tasted was sriracha heat and none of the nuances of the individual components. That and I had not enough tuna in the bowl. I also ordered a side of steamed edamame which was exactly as it should be prepared. If I come back I will definitely try something different.

Yelp
Delicious. I search a lot of restaurants that have what I want, the way I want it. My favorite ramen in Denver is Uncle, but this place comes dam close. I actually like their chicken better than uncle. Good place, fast service, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I sat at the counter and watched an employee repeatedly projectile sneeze and cough directly into and across the food preparation line. We're talking multiple 100 mph sneezes. Into food. Again and again. This employee--WHO WAS ACTIVELY PREPARING ORDERS--also sneezed repeatedly into his gloved hand, wiped his nose with his gloved hand, then went about his business touching multiple components of dishes he was preparing. After pushing my bowl away in repulsion, I asked to speak to a manager. Me: I'm concerned because I just watched one of your employees repeatedly sneeze into customers' food. Manager: Oh, he's not preparing food. Me: (Nods to employee 2 feet away behind prep line) Eh, I can see him? He's right there preparing food... Manager: I'm not going to stand here and fight with you about it. If this hasn't sufficiently grossed you out, I'd also add that the food just isn't that good. Menya is an open kitchen similar to a Subway restaurant. You order at a register then sit down. Meats and broths come in plastic bags and are reheated in soup-warming devices. Noodles are freeze-dried into bricks (like that 10 cent grocery ramen) then reheated. Other ingredients are stored in small canisters behind a counter (where a sick employee has sneeze access to every piece of food...). Skip it--there are dozens of other places within walking distance that won't make you sick.

Yelp
I've now eaten here twice. The first time was solid. Fresh fish, and tasty ramen. Unfortunately my second experience was terrible. I got an Uber Eats delivery from them, and it was wrong in so many ways. I got a DIY poke bowl. So many problems: - Everything was small. There was a decent amount of my fish choice, but then I added an extra protein, and there was barely any of the extra protein. - I asked for extra crab salad, and they gave me one tiny scoop. - I ordered mixed greens instead of rice, and there were like 5 leaves of lettuce at the bottom of the bowl. - The greens were wilted/brown and inedible. - It was $15 (including $2 for the extra protein), which is a crazy price for a small bowl. If it was large, I would have been ok with it. They remedied this when I called by saying they would ask Uber Eats to refund me (haven't gotten that yet, but I'm sure I will), but I didn't want a refund - I wanted tasty, plentiful food. Ugh.

Yelp
Super disappointing. We came for Mother's Day and were wishing we picked somewhere else to celebrate. We walked in and looked at the menu. When we came around the corner, there were 3 staff members there, all facing the tv watching a soccer game. Literally took them minutes to notice we were ready. When the girl finally turned around, she went straight to the resister and said, "what do you want to order". No greeting, no smile, and acted like we were a burden to her day. She was cold and robotic. The benches and tables were dirty with sticky rice stuck to the benches. The food was average. The staff member who was watching the soccer game never acknowledged anyone. The other weird thing was that it was a ramen/poke bar but Mexican music was playing the whole time. Just seemed like they cared more about themselves than their customers. Definitely not worth the 30 min drive or our money.

Yelp
We were walking around and wanted a light snack. Saw this place across the bridge near Union Station and decided to give it a try. Very clean restaurant, nice server, and decent prices. You also get a free soft drink with a purchase of an entree if you check in on Yelp. I got an order of their Ahi Tuna Poke bowl to share with the wife. You can also create your own bowl, but I like ordering the house specials. It was $11 and came out fairly quickly. We got it to go so we could eat outside in the nice shade near the park. The tuna was fresh and the flavor was delicious. It came with white rice, seaweed salad, crab mix, cucumbers, masago, and sliced seaweed paper. Excellent combinations. Not the best poke I've ever had, but pretty good and got the job done!
google avatar

Sherree D.

Yelp
Visited on a balmy 7-degree day and this was just what we needed! Friendly service in a small, but clean space. Our crew got a seaweed salad (very flavorful + my personal fav), ramen (generous portion of chicken and said it was the best he ever had), udon (nice and brothy), bulgogi wraps (good, but meat was a little funky). All portion sizes were above average. B O T T O M L I N E : We will all return...but maybe try a different wrap. ;)
google avatar

JemuelnleAnne M.

Yelp
Food was sub par. We all got stomach aches when we left. The venue was clean and the self serve service was fine. Great view, otherwise a disaster of a meal!!
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Menya is a staple. Not only are the poke bowls 10/10, both taste and freshness, but the kimchi is delicious.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
For my first experience with this company, I was pleasantly surprised with enjoyment. I ordered a ramen bowl with veggies and an egg. What surprised me about the takeout order was that the noodles were hot in one box and the broth was hot in the bowl. Too often I have added cold noodles to hot broth for a warm meal. I like the fact that the noodles were already hot before being added to my broth. The meal was a delicious treat and I look forward to more in the future. The price was good for the food that you get.
google avatar

Cherie C.

Yelp
Reliable spot for ramen. My husband likes the bulgogi lettuce wraps. I like the kimchi ramen--not traditional, but certainly flavorful. When I want a comforting bowl of soup, I can walk here and be satisfied. Register for their rewards program and save a few dollars. When family visited for a week, the kids wanted to eat here every day. They are picky eaters, so that's high praise.

Lucy K.

Yelp
Delicious but the servers were incredibly rude and annoyed at the customers' presence.
google avatar

Sonja A.

Yelp
Miso, poke and ramen bowls. My taste buds have died and gone to menya heaven. Bulgogi looks delicious but I went with a local fave, the Menya Special Poke Bowl. The base is rice but with fresh tuna, seaweed, avocado, edamame and cukes. Added some garlic chips and pepper flakes to tickle my tongue. Enjoy the patio in the afternoon. Great place for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
DONT EAT HERE IF YOUR VEGAN! I specifically asked if they had any VEGAN options and was told yes then I ordered 2 bowls for my wife and I we are both vegan and find chunks of fish in our food. The manger was. Nice about it but it made me mad I have gone 2 yrs as a vegan and I'm very detailed when I'm out eating to explain what a vegan is !..... these folks had no clue even though they told me it was vegan. There is also FISH sauce in everything they make! VERY DISGUSTED in this place!.... stay away from here they have no idea what they are doing or what they serve I get you have vegetarian options BUT vegan and vegetarian are 2 different things. NO MEAT product that includes fish oil and NO DARY product is vegan. A lot of vegetarian options have butter or milk so they are NOT vegan But thanks

Yelp
POKE! POKE! I came here around 12:15 pm. Luckily there wasn't a wait but the place was packed meaning the food must be good!!! **Parking can be a hassle but if you're lucky, there is street parking right across from the building** When you enter, there is self ordering tablet but if you go to your right, there is a cashier who will take your order as well! Once you order you will be given a number and they will bring the food out to you. I was greeted by Bo who was super friendly! He had great recommendations on the ramen and poke bowls. I went with the simple Poke Bowl which had poke tuna, seaweed salad, crab meat plus fish eggs, avocado and dried seaweed on a bed of white rice. The boyfriend went with the Menya Special Poke which had Poke Tuna and Poke Salmon. The only thing we didn't like was the avocado (a little too mushy for us) BUT portions were huge and both tasted great. I do recommend ordering the pork buns! The sauce is amazing!! There is inside seating, bar seating where you can see the chefs make the poke bowls & patio seating (great for people watching) ! ALSO, after you are done eating, there are bus bins to place your dishes in as well! Overall, great food & service! We will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

R. Tony S.

Yelp
Wow! If you love poke, you must have the "Menya Special Poke" -- poke tuna & salmon, seaweed salad, avocado, edamame, crab meat on rice -- everything you need and flavored just right, so fresh!!! -- quick-service but very top-drawer Japanese cuisine -- paired with Kirin Beer... BLAM!
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
In between 3 and 4 stars. The poke bowls are good, not amazing, but could satisfy a poke bowl craving. Ramens were surprisingly pleasant. The noodles were nice and chewy and soup base was flavorful. The meat, however, was not soft enough. Staff was always very friendly. Ordering at the front has been the most efficient for me. The tablets took longer to work (or maybe they were frozen? Unclear.). Nice seatings for indoor and outdoor. Prices are reasonable. Good quick lunch spot.

Jordin N.

Yelp
My first time ever having ramen and I can't wait to come back! It was delicious!! I came here for my birthday dinner and it was perfect. Very filling food with incredible flavor. We also had saki which was good too! Everyone was so friendly and nice there. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
I actually have hot sweat dreams about the Menya Special ramen. I've gotten the Menya Special 3 times now and I am officially declaring it the best ramen I've ever had (and that is saying A LOT). I've also gotten the Chasu and the Spicy chicken which were very good as well, but not as good as the Menya IMO. I've gotten the buns and they are delicious as well. I'm so happy this place moved in down the street from me because I'm quickly becoming a regular. Staff is super nice, place is clean, service is quick, food is phenomenal. Doesn't get much better than this spot.
google avatar

Ellen L.

Yelp
Any poke here is hard to compare to the real thing in Hawaii. This one was alright, but definitely not on the fresher side. The fish didn't really have a taste so it was probably frozen for awhile. This felt more like fast food poke, which is fine. At other poke places, you're apart of the process of selecting each ingredient so you get to see the choices. This one just comes out a few minutes after you order. I liked getting the side miso soup with it. It's fine as long as you don't expect the fish to taste fresh.

Yelp
There are not many restaurants in this little strip of Little Raven, but I'm SO glad Menya is here. The chashu ramen is my go-to. Just delicious and comforting.
