I'd wanted to see this place for so long now and I'm so glad I went! It was worth the price because of everything you get to see and explore inside. There is a cafe and gift shop that you can check out before you go inside and when you come out. There is also a drink purchasing area in the heart of the event itself; you can carry your drink around inside but you cannot have food. The staff was helpful and very vibrant; they were all wonderful for the atmosphere of the adventure. I want to go back and complete the storyline and clues, instead of just seeing every room (which was amazing all by itself).

This place was so much fun! I have never been anywhere like it. The price for the tickets seemed a little high, but once I got into the actual exhibit, I understood it is ENTIRELY worth it. It is kid friendly are there are a lot of interactive items and games. We went on a Sunday morning/afternoon and there was some family trivia. I highly recommend giving yourself AT LEAST an hour and a half to be able to see everything, more if you would like to do the scavenger hunt or find “the missing child.” I am definitely making trips to Dallas just for this, and I would love to see the other MeowWolfs in other cities!

Amazing journey! Loved it! Worth every penny. With the exception of the slightly cranky door guy, all the staff were high energy and pretty fun! Especially the adorable, really tall gift shop guy with the phenomenal lashes and eye makeup! So fun and so high energy! We felt very welcomed and you can tell the staff really loved their jobs!

Easily, the best art experience I’ve ever absorbed with all of my senses. This was my first Meow Wolf experience. I mostly enjoyed that as an adult, I could touch and climb and look and rummage through everything here at this fantastically really unreal world. Not only did we stay for 6 hours to explore everything in its entirety, we left still feeling like we could’ve done more. It’s inspired a road trip to see the rest because I HAVE to see them all!!! So excited to see what else Meow Wolf has in store at other locations.

It was so awesome to experience the art up close and personal. So many "portals" to enter and explore all the hidden secrets. Highly recommend getting their app to go along with your experience! It was super cool! (Unfortunately, some kids did ruin my experience with unlocking secrets :( but it was okay, not timed on the experience so I waited to redo things) Also, plenty of spots to sit down and rest if need be, it's a lot of exploration! Crawl and step through the art!

Google
A spectacular experience. Seemingly endless rooms of diverse, intricate, and spectacular design. The visitor is consumed by an alien experience and invited to figure out a mystery. It takes a bit of climbing and crawling to be fully enjoyed. We look forward to going back for a new experience. The bar inside had excellent cocktails, and there was a snack bar and gift shop out in the lobby. On some days they have special events. This meow wolf location is in a shopping mall and shares the same huge free parking lot.

Google
We visited the Meow Wolf experience today in Grapevine, and I have to say it was quite fun. I highly recommend it! There seemed to be a hidden secret mission to find a missing boy, but I didn't do too much research before going. Despite that, it was a blast. There were so many doors that opened to different rooms, making it a unique and engaging experience. Kim and I had a really good time. If you're looking for something fun and different to do, definitely check it out! Super fun I wish I would’ve brought my husband he would have had fun!

We took our first trip, ever, to Meow Wolf Grapevine, at the end of April. We were in town for a festival, and arrived in town early enough to end the day at The Real Unreal. Luckily, for us, it was also the day of their 21+ event, Adultiverse. So, it was open a little later than normal, and had some great activities happening as well. It's connected to the mall. So, easy to find, and accessible parking. Now, we are no strangers to Meow Wolf. This is our third exhibit to visit, and we actually didn't have to pay anything, as we are Supremium Pass Holders, which makes any Meow Wolf exhibit free to visit. So, already a great start to such a fun experience. Upon arrival, we went straight to the gift shop. We shopped around a little, preparing for our exit plan, and made friends with some of the team. We were graciously helped by team members Johnny and Darby. Both were extremely friendly, offered wonderful insight, and were great influences on our purchases. Once inside the exhibit, we were at a loss of words. We've been to OmegaMart and Radio Tave. So, we had an idea of what to expect, but the art and environment was really next-level. There are so many things to prod and poke, so many areas to crawl around in, and also plenty of room to move around or take a seat to absorb the ambiance. Truly my most favorite visual experience at a Meow Wolf. Will be returning to Grapevine, just to relive it. More so, they had a bunch of amazing activities happening for their Adultiverse event. Belly dancers were teaching classes, there was a lovely woman performing acoustic baths throughout the exhibit, a DJ performing in the lobby, and even music performances inside the exhibit as well. We even brought in our own entertainment, like flow toys, and had our own fun. We spent about 5 hours there, which provided enough time to ensure we saw the whole exhibit. We grabbed drinks at their cafe, which were affordable and delicious. We also met and conversed with their event planner, Will. Will, much like the rest of the staff, ticket checkers and security alike, was very inviting, insightful, and made us feel extremely comfortable in such an unfamiliar place. I am a proud Taver, and the Houston exhibit is my home. However, The Real Unreal definitely has a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for the chance to have explored it's realm. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
I went here with a friend because O have been to all of the other Meow Wold locations so I knew I had to eventually go to this one! My friend was really amazed! She loved it. It was a house which I really liked. The NM location is also a house! It's set up to where to can explore the house and it turns into just a wild crazy maze. This place is great for children and adults! It's a fun spin on art and is very interactive. This would be a fun place to go for a celebration as the tickets are a little pricey around $50. The glasses create a cool effect, but are not essential and you would still have fun without them!

Yelp
My husband and I are kinda big fans of the MeowWolf brand art installations, ever since attending the original in Phoenix, AZ back in 2019. Since then we've been to the Denver, CO and Las Vegas, NV ones. So when this new one opened up nearby to home (we reside in Austin), we had to go! The theme/story of this one pays homage to the original, with some differences and cross-pollination with the others. (Basically, if you're a fan and have been to their others, you'll appreciate the references/throwbacks.) I kinda fell in love with the new character they added: "Happy Garry." See if you can find him inside the whimsical maze! Also loved the LGBTQ+ inclusivity in the story (there's a bi girl and her trans boyf). Shout-out to the employees here being friendly and in-theme, getting into their roles. We especially had fun riffing with the tall guy running the gift shop. Speaking of the gift shop... omg, I accidentally spent as much money there on stickers and plushies as I did on our entrance tickets. What is impulse control? But seriously they have so many tempting, fun, colorful items to take home to remember your fun visit by (and make your friends jelly and ask "Where did you get THAT?!"). One frustration was they only had one set of restrooms. There weren't any provided within the exhibit so you'd have to exit all the way to pee and re-enter. And not many stalls considering how many folks were inside.

Yelp
Meow wolf is an experience and this is no less. Having been to omega mart, my expectations were a little high. I'm not sure if I missed a bunch of clues, but there wasn't as much of a linear storyline here as it's LV counterpart. That said, I enjoyed getting lost in all the areas and brain beans.

Clarice C.

Yelp
My daughter's and I had a fun time. I give 3 stars instead of 5 because of safety and some areas of too small spaces for an adult to go through. With everything going on in the world and kids consistently getting taken, I wasn't comfortable allowing my kids to experience Meow Wolf on their own. There's to many exits a stranger could taken them out of. I wanted to experience Meow Wolf as a family memory. We had a good time but there were areas that were too small for me to safely climb through to follow my children on the unreal experience. I would recommend Meow-Wolf, just stay with your children and experience everything together.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
This place was off the wall AAMAAZZING! The adults enjoyed themselves and the teens did too. The hosts that work there were so helpful and engaging and made the experience even better. What a unique and great spot. The story the place told and how to follow it was also a great addition, definitely download the app before going and read up on the story so you can follow along. The shop at the end was a great ending I wanted to buy it all. Didn't even feel the 4hrs we spent there .

Yelp
This was my first visit to Meow Wolf, but I discovered that others come back frequently. This placed filled with massive colors, fun at the Meow Wolf store, and people trying to figure out the mystery running through the exhibits. This place is mega colorful, filled with critters and aliens and secret passageways. Explore every door, appliance, faucet, plant to find a new path. Move beyond the expired candy machines to one-way watch people at the ATMs, on the old-school phones, and those just living their everyday lives. It's fun to see what artists have created from their imaginations.

Cole D.

Yelp
Cool experience but I'm not sure I'm the target market. I also feel confused on the objective, other than simply walking around and taking in the visual oddness of it all, which I got into. I saw some teens playing tag, which that sounds fun to me. I wish it had a game component to it.

Yelp
We had a time last night! Ok, so I was so lucky to have the opportunity to attend this Yelp event with my daughter about the facility: 1. Clean -all areas were beautiful, even after we left we were in awe of how clean the exhibit is (people are literally touching every and anything) 2.Clean bathrooms- 3. Friendly staff 4. Feel like you are in a huge space like literally transported somewhere else, and not in the mall. The music, food, and beverages: 1. Tupelo Honey 2 locations in DFW... we tried the chorizo bbq meatball I'm going to stop by the one in frisco and investigate their other options @tupelohoneycafe 2. Sweet Boom Bakery... I had the caramel cake and my daughter had the lemon ‍ it was the perfect serving size and delicious!!! I will be going to visit them @sweetboombakery 3. ZAAP- Thai food my kid loved the lettuce wrap and I tried the beef jerky- YUMMY@zaapkitchentx 4. Trinity Cider- ok ok ok hear me out a butterscotch cider!!!! Try it you'll regret it if you don't!!! @trinitycider 5. DJ was doing his thing @goodnews.ent He played hits meshed with other hits that bit me and the 21 year old knew and he seriously brought the mood up for the night! 6. The yelp swag was great and my "resuable tote" turned out great, thank you ladies for the thought behind it all Let's talk about Meow Wolf The exhibit is mystical and magical. I went in with no expectations and I let my inner child drive the ship! The colors, sounds, lights and interactive items make this place a 10! #flushthetoliet #playwiththesink (IYKYK) I slid down the slide and got rug burn but it was worth the laugh and my curiosity got the best of me. My nosey kid read emails and went through drawers in the house. WE PLAYED and the time went by... we laughed, danced, and talked to people who were also having their great experience which coincided with ours! Definitely worth the visit

Yelp
While visiting Dallas, I was told by many a gamer to check out this place. I went in with no real knowledge or understanding about what I was going to experience. $50 per ticket gets you a stay as long as you please experience. We stayed about 2 hours and barely scratched the surface. The art and sets are impressive and there is much to do, see, touch, hear, interact with and explore. There are plenty of Instramable moments if that is your thing. There is a storyline that we happened upon, but it is very easy to miss. Pro tip, definitely download the app - it really helps. I'd love to go back again now that i have a better sense of what to expect. You definitely get transported to another place and you're walking in circles much of the time. It really was a lot of fun and I'd definitely visit again.

Brad M.

Yelp
What an overwhelmingly wonderful, weird time! We were lucky enough to have a private event, and these people really went all out! If you haven't been: this is interactional. You can download the app, and follow along to solve a mystery. You can touch everything... meaning, you can open laptops in the exhibit, check emails, go through drawers, flip switches, open doors, and find hidden passageways! If that much structure isn't your thing (it isn't mine), I still spent over 2 hours wandering through, touching things, exploring doorways and hidden rooms. The best part was once I took a bathroom break, I came back in and realized there's basically an entirely additional experience from the waist down... Lots of stuff to go through and under! As many people have said, it's an adult funhouse, that can be enjoyed by kids... with art! It's hard to look somewhere and not see something. I highly recommend finding places to sit, and watch... things develop, and reveal themselves... things you did not see originally! We were blessed to have a large group. It was amazing to see how different people interact, and you can learn so much from how other people learn! If I could suggest one thing: be kind, and close doors behind you! 5 STARS

Yelp
I visited with my teenage son who can be difficult to entertain if it doesn't have to do with his interests. He went into the experience kinda skeptical but quickly got into it and we ended up spending over 3 hours exploring. Best time to go is around 11ish, not as crowded as it started to get around 2:30 when we were wrapping it up. I don't think we would have stayed as long if it was crowded.

Truc L.

Yelp
Amazing and creative space, so much fun. Great place to have fun with group of friends and family. The color, the vibe and the creativity will bring a sense of excitement and cool experience.

Elliott B.

Yelp
What. An. EXPERIENCE! I was worried that I'd hyped this up in my head and that I'd be let down. I also was skeptical about price of admission, thinking, there's no way this will feel worth $40. Definitely worth it. The interior is HUGE. It seems to keep going forever. Very maze-like. So many things to see and absorb. So many hidden gems. So much hand-made custom art! What an amazing interactive piece of art - WELL DONE, crew! I don't want to say too much, other than check it out! I imagine booze enhanced the experience, for what that's worth. =) What a trip. We'll pregame next time. I figured 2 hours would be enough time, but we easily could have spent 3 or 4 in there. And will get some awesome stuff from the gift shop next time. Nice staff, too - they really got into it and did a great job. Oh, and treat it like you're going to a concert - metal detectors, no pocket knives, bags searched, etc. Heads up!

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Had a great time exploring the multiverse in this amazing maze of a house! So fun and can definitely get lost in here! Keep your friends and your kids close lol. Would definitely come back again!

Channa T.

Yelp
The YELP event was phenomenal!!! I got to try local eateries and got to speak with the owners of some of the businesses, decorate my own bag and converse with other Yelpers. I will definitely try these places out. The only issue is I didn't know who was working the event or was just people like me at the event to ask questions about things. However, we all came together to figure things out and to have a great experience. The highlight was the Tupelo Honey meatball! So delicious & seasoned so well, then ZAAP which had fresh ingredients and Sweet Boom bakery was too sweet for me but my family devoured.

Lolo A.

Yelp
While driving in Dallas, we noticed several large billboards promoting Meow Wolf, but it was unclear exactly what it was. According to the Meow Wolf website, they create "immersive multimedia experiences that transport audiences of all ages into fantastic realms." This museum of sorts provides opportunities for hands-on exploration via art exhibitions designed by Texas-based artists. How intriguing! Many others thought the same and it was packed with people! *********** Step into a house where mystery abounds. You can choose to solve mysteries with interactive characters & clues and/or admire the extraordinary artwork. Hint: A family member is missing, but how and why?! Everyday objects such as a fireplace, refrigerator, washing machine and dryer (to name a few) act as portals and transports you to other dimensions. This experience was worth the money and warrants a visit. I've added a bunch of pix and vids for you to check out. - Admission: $81.19 for 2 (including taxes, fees and military discount for active duty & veterans), 3 and under are free - Parking: Free

Yelp
I don't know, guys... there were soooo many people (Saturday 4pm) I was like, "this has to be awesome..." but nope. And maybe it's just not my thing (though I love art and I love puzzles...) Here's my story: I told several staff that I was new to this whole thing and it was recommended by a friend, so I'd like to know what to do or expect for the best experience. They all assured me the next staff person I'd meet would tell me what I needed to know. That never happened. We got into the house and saw some people with special glasses and some without, some using their phones and some not. No clue why. An hour in we asked about the glasses and were given one pair, saw nothing different. I couldn't tell if this was a puzzle to solve, art to admire, house to escape, story to read, or place to look stupid with 200 other people... but it felt like the latter. I finally found some clues of a missing person, read some notes on him and heard some audios that gave a few clues but no direction. We got lost in a refrigerator and crawled through some tight spaces with 50 other people, so that was... fun? I looked for the brain bean talked about at our introduction before entry but never found it. Did we need glasses to do so? No idea. An app to follow? No clue. An hour and a half in I asked another guest what she was doing on her phone to which she told me, "You have to download the app. It changes the whole* experience... but you have to download it through a certain website and I don't remember, so ask staff..." at that point I just wanted to leave. Was it worth it? The music in some rooms was cool and a few art pieces were interesting. Was it $100+ worth it? Absolutely not. I wanted to ask for a refund 20 minutes in but saw that wasn't possible. We made the best of it but felt it was a huge waste of time. Also creepy walking around someone's house and rummaging through their things lmao There were way too many people and not enough directions to really figure this out. Clues were moved or blocked by people sitting on them. I would have loved more heads up and direction. If not telling us vital info is a part of the unreal real puzzle then it's a pretty stupid game. I truly hope others got more out of it. Oh and I'm not sure how this was for kids at all but there were a TON there. (I'll update with pictures later).

Yelp
I visited Meow Wolf's The Real Unreal in Grapevine for the second time on a Thursday afternoon in May. The experience was just as incredible as my first visit. I caught on to so many foreshadowing Easter eggs that I would have never even known to look for my first time. Since my last visit in summer 2023, Meow Wolf has changed just a few things, most notably the check-in experience. I'm not sure if this was just different because it was a weekday though. During my last visit, there was a queue outside of the Meow Wolf entrance in the mall that guests had to snake through before entering security. This time, there was not queue, you just went through security. Tickets were available for purchase right before entering the exhibit, but I advise purchasing them beforehand so you can get in quicker! It's worth noting however that if you are a little late for the time slot you choose, it's okay! They're not strict about that. If you're interested in a fun little side quest, I recommend trying to find the small leaf vines around the exhibit. Each leaf has a different hashtag you are supposed to text to a certain phone number. If you find all the leaves, you get a prize! I'm not sure what the prize is, as I've never found all tue leaves, but this "scavenger hunt" is just another fun part of it all! Additionally, staff are great, bathrooms are clean and the gift shop is so fun! The first time I visited, the exhibit was packed full of people. Visiting right at the cusp of spring/summer was perfect though. We had entire rooms to ourselves at several points! Already can't wait to visit for a third time!

Isaac A.

Yelp
This was our 3rd Meow Wolf and everyone enjoyed it. At first, I felt it was awkward being at a mall since Denver and Santa Fe are standalone facilities, but it worked and was much larger than I anticipated. We didn't follow the story much, but the washer and dryer area and some of the hidden passages were my favorites. The arcade was interesting and I liked the time travel room a lot (though people kept pushing the buttons instead of paying attention that the event was in progress). This one was also a lot easier to navigate than the other ones I have visited. This location doesn't serve alcohol and many of the times were already sold out online, so book ahead or come in the evening.

Jamie M.

Yelp
If you are looking for something outside the box to do, step into the Meow Wolf Real Unreal experience! A date brought me here since he heard rave reviews and I will say they delivered! I'm not quite sure what I expected it to be (Meow Wolf newbie here!), but it was definitely an engaging way to spend an evening. Speaking of time, if you want to see as much as possible, make sure you allow lots of time! We came at 5PM on a Thurs and left around 8:30PM and still could have spent more time there! Like each of the Meow Wolf exhibits, the Real Unreal has a backstory. The fun of this exhibit is that there is no right or wrong way to experience it! Definitely a fun way to spend an evening!

Desiree R.

Yelp
I went to Meow Wolf last night for a work event and I had probably the best Lavender Matcha I've ever had there! I want to go back specifically for that, but also to enjoy the exhibit much longer. The atmosphere in there is so cool, it's like being in a different world! I really enjoyed all of the employees there as well, they were all super sweet, friendly and helpful! It was fun seeing all of their outfits and personalities shine through! I'll be going back in July for my birthday and will give a review on the exhibit then!

Lola M.

Yelp
Lots of fun! We especially liked the clothes dryer shoot! Very creative and cool art experiences. Definitely not great for very small kids. There are a lot of small confined spaces. It was pretty crowded when we were there so if you have issues with being in close proximity with strangers, maybe not for you.

Kristen B.

Yelp
A very unique experience. Not a cheap way to spend a few hours. Very crowded. Sunday at opening is best.

Stephen P.

Yelp
This is the third Meow Wolf I've been to. So to some degree, the novelty is wearing off for me. This installation had some definite similarities to the Santa Fe one, and it was overall well done and interesting. Very engaging staff throughout add to it. The footprint is substantially smaller than Denver's. That makes it more doable to fully explore in a reasonable timeframe with kids...but the price is only typically $5 cheaper, so it seems even more expensive for what you get. And being located in a suburban megamall is a different vibe than the unique spaces in Denver and Santa Fe.

Joanna M.

Yelp
I brought a group to the experience and we had a great time. It was so fun to find some new spaces I missed on my first visit, the 2nd visit was just as fun as the first visit. We all had a blast. We tried the glasses and it was a fun way to experience the art differently.

Emily C.

Yelp
First, I have to say, I am a devoted Meow Wolf devotee and have visited all off the other locations multiple times. This was our first trip to the Grapevine location. Overall, I just love all things Meow Wolf. Always and forever. But I was a little bummed--the craftsmanship seemed like it was lower quality than the other locations, there was way less intractable content, and the installations that were interactive seemed like they didn't track your motions as well as in other locations. There was a heavy reliance on themes from Santa Fe, which I love (hey Lucious!) but I was hoping for more unique content. The folks working there didn't add as much to the story as in other locations, which was also a bummer. I know they were working with limited space, but I would have appreciated more areas to enjoy the immersive sound and light displays, like in the room with cloud projections and reflective cubes--there are only two seats? Cmon!! I'm so glad to have been able to visit, and I feel fortunate that Texas is the most difficult location for my to visit since, for now, it's my least favorite exhibit. I hope Jared is safe with Happy Gary.

Temika M.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in, I knew it was Love at 1st Sight . I Love Art! This place was phenomenal! Each display had a unique feel that screamed creativity. I cannot wait until I take my daughter! I was so excited to show her videos when I got home. This place is perfect for a date night, girls night out or family day! 10 out of 10, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! Special Shoutout to the Vendors Also!!!

Bryant S.

Yelp
Dallas is one of cities that have been growing so fast in past years with influx of people coming from places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. If I hear complaints from others who came from bigger metro places, those complaints can narrow down few things: foods, people, weather, and things to do. For food sceneries and people, it is bound to grow. For weather, oh common, you can deal with it. However, since Dallas is lack of natural outdoor activities like mountains and ocean, having not many things to do can be tough. This is why I really do appreciate these awesome indoor fun places like Meow Wolf opening in Dallas area. I heard about Meow Wolf from some people around me, and I wanted to visit this place one day. But because I usually go to workout after I am done with my work, I only thought about it. Luckily, I got invited to this Yelp Elite event, and I had no reason not to pass by this wonderful opportunity. But I did not have much expectation. I thought this will last for only about 30 minutes, but I was surprised to find myself spending more than an hour enjoying exploring around this Alice in Wonderland like maze place. I've been to places like Disneyland and Orlando Universal, and I've seen some cool interiors and decorations in many places around the globe. Yet, art pieces, interior decors, lights, and vibe around this place amazed me. Overall, I had fun, and I met some cool people here, too. I would definitely consider to bring my parent or other friends next time. Thank you for making Dallas more fun and better!

Palka M.

Yelp
Oh what fun! This place is huge! Everything is so intricate and interactive and the staff is super funny and outgoing. There are ups and downs and slides and obstacle courses and places to take pics... 2 hours didn't feel like enough! This would be a great place to take kids but make sure you wear walking shoes!! Right when you enter you see a little cafe with seating, so it's nice if you're hungry but can't walk around with food (understood though, don't want to ruin the beautiful art!)

Neyat A.

Yelp
Wow, what an incredible experience at Meow Wolf! Attended a Yelp event at this mind-blowing exhibit and was completely blown away. Each room boasted its own unique and mesmerizing features, leaving me utterly captivated. It was a whirlwind of engagement, astonishment, and sheer uniqueness, like falling into a mesmerizing rabbit hole. Describing the concept is a challenge in itself--it's truly beyond words. Already planning a return visit and highly recommend it to anyone exploring Dallas.

Yelp
Meow Wolf was so much fun. Adult and kid friendly. There was a lot to see, do, and explore. This is for the art lovers. I did get a little dizzy to be honest seeing all the artwork and lights, going up and downstairs, but not too bad. Very unique and intricate place. Lots of open parking. Cafe and foods are served here. Bathrooms and art were so clean. I would definitely go back. Great location to go with friends and family

Yelp
Excited to see a Meow Wolf open near Austin! I've been to every single one thus far and The Real Unreal was alright in my opinion. The entrance is located inside the Mall past the Rainforest Cafe (a little deceiving when you use Google Maps). You'll go through security to get in and pass a mini gift shop on your right. The inside looks very similar to Sante Fe. You begin outside a house at night with a garden on the inside. Once you're in, the house layout looks exactly like Sante Fe. There were a ton of portals in and out. We came on a Saturday night so it was pretty crowded to be surprised by anything. This Meow Wolf seemed a bit smaller too. I didn't follow the story, but there were a few areas I liked. Overall - this Meow Wolf was cool, but didn't meet my expectations.

Yelp
Interesting place, buy tickets online before you go since it might be sold out. Lots of rooms within rooms, the fridge area is cool, neon lights are fun too. Slide down the washing machine from the front lying down might be easier so you don't hit your head multiple times. Ask for locker tokens from the front desk nearby to put stuff in! $50 a person for about an hour walking around exploring different rooms, pretty crowded on a weekend.

Yelp
I had no expectation going into this experience... and didn't have any clue of what I was going to see. But wow!!! I loved this art installation and every little bit of it. There was so much to see and explore. There were so many colors, sounds, textures, and lighting. There were a good amount of people attending so it was kind of hard to tell who the staff was if you needed help exiting to go to the bathroom, take a break, etc. I didn't try any of the food at the front bar, but it looked quaint and had a seating area. I would definitely go back again! I feel like each time you could find something new you didn't check out last time... I promise you there's so much to see and experience!

Yelp
Pretty amazing place, might overwhelm some with sensory issues but a true 5 of 5 stars with this place. Every where you looked was something. There was nothing that didn't have something to look at and the themes were crazy cool!

Yelp
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attend the Yelp Elite event at Meow Wolf & the experience was literally unreal! I love ever second of my time exploring and getting lost in the artistry of this beautifully crafted exhibit. The colors, level or detail, and thoughtfulness put into this space was mindblowing. There were so many ways to enjoy the space including an interactive sticker scavenger hunt, following the mysterious story line, finding hidden codes and features, seasonal themed activities with the Meow Wolf hosts, as well as just roaming around and taking photos with the amazing scenes. Even with being there for two hours, there was so much to see and so many room to explore that it was overwhelming to take all in, in the best way possible. I started thinking about my next visit even before we left. This is definitely a wonderful experience for all ages and I loved how accessible all of the spaces were despite physical or age limitations. All in all if Meow Wolf was not on you list, it should be now! It is worth the visit, or 5.

Yelp
Incredible room setup. So many rooms to discover...just when I thought we had seen everything, we kept discovering more places. Liked that they had activities and entries for all mobility levels and ages. Fun interactive options: solving a mystery, exploring the house and other worlds, etc. My friends and I even made up our own "take a selfie and try to find me" hide & seek in the space. Liked that each area was completely unique in aesthetics, sounds, and lights. Staff were helpful, kind and relaxed. Very cool experience.

Yelp
Overall amazing BUT here is the kicker: - It gets SO congested and crowded that you can't even see anything especially at the beginning. And shit! People are rude for real for real- guests that is- and because it's so packed even though you're about to go through a tunnel or look at something a bit longer- some person will cut you off entirely or skip the line and go first. This could all be avoided with actual timed entrances and have them staggered so that it's not so full. I would've had a better experience had I went on a weekday or less popular time. Now on to the positive- meow wolf in terms of the attraction is out of this world literally. So creative, so unique, so many twists and turns and cool passage ways and unexpected installations. Like who knew I needed to go inside a washing machine or open a fridge to enter a hallway? The artistry is so so top tier. I was so excited to hear when they launched in grapevine. I was researching things to do in Denver for my friends Bach party and had seen their Denver location and wanted to go but didn't get to. I've followed their socials ever since. You NEED to go even if at least once. Yes the price of admission is hefty but it's definitely justified esp when compared to other "photo op" museums/experiences. I cannot wait for their Houston location to open. I love this franchise and wish more places were as creative and cool! They have cool merch as well as a bonus and I especially liked their own omega mart soda real tasty. They had a gender fluid drink and made it look literal gasoline fluid which was cute. And they had a candle that looked like a jar of paint! Just really quirky and well thought out gifts and souvenirs. Not everything was my taste but I definitely could appreciate and admire for sure! The best part was that they had amazing staff - most were super nice and friendly. The people at the gift shop were chatting it up and having a good time with me and my husband. And on top of that I thought I lost my purse but a staff member had it in their lost in found. So amazing! They apparently have adult nights where they host parties in the glow in the dark music room. They give out cocktails and apparently play cool music. I might check it out someday! Thanks for the great time meow wolf and hope to see yall again soon!

Yelp
Meow Wolf has once again proven why they're the pioneers of immersive art experiences, and as a MW fan ever since I visited their original permanent location in Santa Fe, I can confidently say that this latest venture is an absolute gem. Having been captivated by their previous installations, I approached The Real Unreal with high expectations, and yet, they managed to exceed every one of them. The level of intricacy, creativity, and sheer imagination that they've poured into this space is awe-inspiring. What sets The Real Unreal apart is its ability to seamlessly weave together familiar elements from their earlier installations with entirely new dimensions. It's like revisiting old friends while embarking on a brand-new journey. The attention to detail is nothing short of staggering, with each corner offering a new discovery waiting to unfold. As someone who has traversed the captivating landscapes of their previous locations, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the narrative in The Real Unreal. It's evident that they've honed their craft and are still pushing the boundaries of what immersive art can achieve. For those who, like me, have had the privilege of experiencing all the Meow Wolf installations, visiting The Real Unreal - Meow Wolf Grapevine is not just an option, but a necessity. It's a celebration of their evolution as artists, creators, and storytellers. The memories of all the past explorations come together in this one extraordinary space. In a world that can sometimes feel mundane, Meow Wolf Grapevine serves as a potent reminder of the limitless possibilities of human imagination. It's an ode to curiosity, a testament to innovation, and a portal to another realm. I'm eagerly anticipating their next creation while basking in the magic they've conjured once again.

Yelp
My SO and I have been to all the Meow Wolfs in other states and we were delighted to check out the newest addition. This one was slightly better than the Santa Fe one but my SO and I came to terms that the Meow Wolf's all have very similar tropes in all the exhibits. This one was a bummer in that there was not a puzzle or storyline to solve per se. There was significantly fewer less documents and papers to sort through and you could go through the computers to go through the websites to piece together the story. I loved the boop cards at other exhibits and how you would be far more investigative in figuring out how the story unfolded. This one was allright.

Yelp
Looking for something different for your next date or just want to spice up your Insta feed? You've got to check out Meow Wolf Grapevine. This place isn't just cool; it's a whole new level of art experience. Imagine stepping into a kaleidoscope of colors and wild, whimsical art that's just begging to be on your social media. It's like wandering through a dream, where every turn is a new surprise. Perfect for those 'wow' pics and videos! And there's this interactive story thing - think part art, part game. It's super fun to explore and piece together. Great for bonding on a date or just having a good time. The story's got layers, so you can dive deep or just enjoy the vibe. Pro tip: swing by on a weekday. It's a bit more chill then, and you get more room to explore without the weekend crowds. In short, Meow Wolf Grapevine is where it's at for a fun date or just a cool day out. It's artsy, it's funky, and it's totally worth the visit. Five stars all the way!

Yelp
Meow Wolf was absolutely unreal! I had a ball of a time with my partner. You honestly just have to go to experience it. There's no way I could describe the experience besides awesome. Definitely the best museum I've ever been to. Incredibly interactive. My only critique is that it would be nice if the museum actually stuck to the scheduled times and limit the amount of people that were in there at once. I believe the idea is to find secret rooms and with so many people, nothing was secret or surprising. However, overall, it was a blast!

Yelp
Meow Wolf is definitely an amazing experience! I had the lovely pleasure of visiting Meow Wolf during a Yelp Elite event. I was very impressed with the whole immersive experience and wonderful art. All the workers were so in character and very pleasant! The whole establishment and bathrooms were kept so clean! Can't comment on the cafe or gift shop though, since I didn't get to try or browse! Allow at least 2 hours to explore! I thought I was about done, but then I'd find another room that I've never ventured in before! You come inside to an unassuming house, but be excited of the different worlds that await you! I love how there were many little entrances! There's really great photo ops as well, since the whole place is filled with amazing art and art installations! The artists put so much thought in the details. It was awesome! I can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Meowolf is an exciting and interactive destination that warmly embraces visitors of all ages. I visited on a bustling Sunday morning, and by 11am, the place was abuzz with activity. It's clearly a favorite spot for families, as there were plenty of young children enjoying themselves. I even spotted a little one who couldn't have been more than three months old! If you're considering bringing your child along, rest assured, they'll fit right in. For those seeking a more adult-oriented experience, perhaps the evening would be a better choice.

Yelp
This location feels like a less than version of Santa Fe and it's just not that great and a gray copy of a copy. It is much smaller and beyond crowded even on a weekday. You can't interact with the venue due to the crowd. If you have been to any other Meow Wolf you can skip this one. If you choose to go to this one just remember the other locations provide a more positive experience.

Yelp
I HATE museums THANK GOD this isn't anything like that. This place is so amazing wacky a unique, you have know idea what your going to find right around the corner! Meow Wolf is an awesome place that you either can just look an see the art which is awesome and enjoy the uniqueness of the place or you can follow the story line ...... you can do both just know you will need EXTRA time to do both. Writing this reviews is hard because I don't want to give away anything that's inside I just want everyone to go in there and be surprised at what they see. But a will give two spoilers the burr-room is interesting and one of my favorite rooms was the uv tree forest. They do have a little cafe but when we went it was during an event so it wasn't open but they definitely had some that sounded delicious like Apples Cider Chai. Can't wait to try their empanadas or chicken pot pies In conclusion Meow Wolf is definitely a place you can go and go an never get bored because there will always be something you missed!

Yelp
Very entertaining! Visited during the week for a Yelp event. Spent the full 2 hours exploring every nook and cranny of the place, but honestly felt like I needed 4-5 hours to solve the mystery. In 2 hours, I was able to enjoy the artistic side of the experience. Absolutely marvelous. The fact that it was a mix of weird and odd made it fascinating. My favorite parts were the alleyway (which reminded me of Japan) and the garden in front of the house. I loved how creative each art installation was. Very Alice in Wonderland meets Stranger Things, if that makes sense. I would definitely like to return to solve the mystery. It seemed very intricate and involves a lot of gathering clues and talking with the characters scattered through the warehouse. Each room had its own unique theme, but somehow, the creators managed to tie all the rooms together with the common theme of solving the mystery. Simply fabulous!

Yelp
Every kids dream is to be able to touch the artwork and at the same time be able to discover secret passages and doorways. This is that place! Think Alice in wonderland meets beebop cowboy meets hogwarts . Be prepared to get lost and turned around and inside out so if you are with a child that likes to zoom off - you WILL have a slight anxiety that you won't be able to find them again easily. I recommend going with kiddos aged 10 and up for this reason alone. That way you can let them roam without having to follow them too closely. There is only one entrance and exit - of which there is a coffee bar and seating if you don't want to go in yourself (although I would totally advise going in! You don't want to miss out on the fun!!) Allow 1 or 2 hours to this experience. There is no need to rush through it. Lastly I did hear that there was a kind of scavenger hunt that you can collect clues and solve something or other. This wasn't made obvious and is not required to totally enjoy the exhibit.

Yelp
Highly recommend if you are in the Dallas area. We went to our first Meow Wolf in Denver, CO and were thrilled to hear that there was one near Dallas, TX. The experience is a lot of fun alone or with a group. With adults or with kids. My family includes a 4yr old, 8 yr old and almost 10 yr old. All three LOVE the art, the beauty, the weirdness, the secret passages, the themes, the interactive things everywhere. It's a lot of stimulation for all of your senses but not too much. But if it is too much - I heard there were sensory items that one could ask for. The gift shop has lots of cool merch from magnets, toys, stuffies, games, clothes and more. There was also a little cafe if you are hungry. If you don't want your experience interrupted by kids then I hear they might also do adult only nights.

Yelp
This experience was truly "unreal" from the moment you enter the exhibit. I attended their opening day and was in awe of all the different rooms. I attended with one other person early in the morning. We spent about two hours in the exhibit and still missed a few rooms. The entire experience was really fun and immersive. I will admit it was really crowded towards the end of our visit so, I recommend you visit early in the morning if you do not like crowds. They do offer refreshments for purchase outside the exhibit beyond the gift shop. don't want to give too much away - you must visit for yourself!
