What Is Taiwanese Food: Every Dish You Need to Know | Eater

"A high-energy, clubby restaurant serving bold Taiwanese bar foods—fried chicken, pig’s ear, and an array of stir-fried snacks—paired with playful, Tiki-style cocktails for a rowdy, late-night dining-and-drinking experience." - Leslie Nguyen-Okwu

It is a cosy and quietly stylish spot with a warm, slightly mysterious atmosphere. Soft lighting, vintage details, and gentle jazz make it feel both relaxed and inviting. Food are a pleasant surprise too: simple, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. Service is friendly yet unobtrusive, allowing you to enjoy your time without interruption. A great spot for gathering with friends, intimate enough for conversation, but lively enough to feel special. I’ll gladly return.

Fusion food. Local delights infused with bits of Italian and HK cuisines.. Everything we ordered tasted yummy esp the fried pork. Can give the rice a miss, a tad too oily and bland. Pretty good place with cute decors for photo taking. Downside is they close really on the dot at 11pm. But overall definitely worth visiting again!

Fun place to hang out. Order ends at 11. Everything was very efficient here, from seating to billing, and you'd better have a reservation in advance for this busy place. Drinks were fine, the martini was kinda weak. Food here was on the sweet side, not particularly outstanding. We came here for the experience

New style Taiwanese food, dedicated to bring great taste to most of the people and most of the meals are like the meal at home that our parents cook for us. Special in seasoning, flavor, visual looking, and last is the taste that the food enter your mouth. It blows your mind and let you carefully feel the flavor that spread around your month. We order Meowvelous Fries, Taipei Style Cold Chopped Chicken, Chicken Liver Pate & Bread, Hot Pot Rice with Taiwan Pickles and Fried Port Chop, Chilled Noodles with Cold Port Rump, Sesame Sauce & Red Oil, “Oil & Soy” Dry Noddles, “Ban Mien”, Scottish Meat Ball, and Dessert is January exclusive Galette des Rois (King’s Pie). The waitress is the most impressive while we sit down and do not know what to order. I can see the passion and enthusiastic introducing from the appetizer, Cold, Hot, Deep Fried, Tossed Veg, Large Meat and Sandwich, Hot Port Rice, Chilled Noodles section, Taiwan Noodles, Dessert. I can feel she is like Liya (the owner of the Mercato Pizza in Peng Hu) who has the same passion when sharing her pizza menu. The servant part is too strong so somehow it can ignore if the food is not so well, but food is so well, I have some many dishes not yet tasted... can’t wait to come and eat again.

Came here for the fries, turned out I loved the carbonara more! The cocktails were nice but a bit pricey.

We called around 5:30pm for a table for four on Sunday and was able to reserve a table right away. Food quality overall is very good. They all served at a reasonable time. Waiters/Waitresses were all very helpful and nice. Price, however, is a bit high. Meowvelous Fries: thin, crispy fries. Not too oily and fried just about right. Was able to get additional ketchup for no additional price. Caviar & Honey Toast: interesting taste combining honey and caviar. Sweet taste > salty taste. Butter Buns & Seafood Mayo: butter buns is exactly what I imagined, soft and a bit of butter taste. I don’t really like it with the mayo. They don’t really go well together. Cheese Burger: regular cheese burger Cold Veg Mix & Salted Chicken Salad: I think it’s better to try the actually Taiwanese Salty Chicken. Wouldn’t recommend this. Grilled Zucchini: it is grilled just about right. I like it a lot but the price is too high for one order. Deep Fried Pork Belly: not to greasy Chilled Noodles with Pork: my favorite, love the sauce and all the ingredients in it.

All the food are freaking delicious!!!!! I know they might be famous for their cocktail, but the alcohol drinks here are really not my cup of tea... Anyway, they got amazing food all with certain taiwnese twist, and also looks great too! Recommend for anyone who want some western-taiwanese fusion kind of food🤗
