Google
5 stars – A sweet surprise that saved our night! My girlfriend and I were walking around looking for dessert after being disappointed by dinner at a nearby rooftop. Dessert is our little ritual to end every date night, and that’s when we stumbled upon this cozy gem—Meraki. We asked about lava cake, and the kind waitress immediately welcomed us with a table. We only came for dessert, but we watched as dishes were brought out to other tables and they looked absolutely delicious—we’ll definitely come back for dinner next time. The lava cake was amazing, freshly baked to order, just as the waitress kindly warned us—it took a bit of time, but knowing it was made in the oven right then made it even more special. We truly appreciated the quality, authenticity, and the kindness of the staff in being transparent and attentive. Before asking for the check, I asked our server for her name, because I was so pleased with the whole experience. She kindly introduced herself as Irma, and we had a lovely little conversation. This little spot saved our night and our long drive, even just with dessert. Thank you, Irma—you turned our night around. We’ll definitely be back!

Opa! A Greek Feast to Remember at Meraki in Coconut Grove 🇬🇷 Holy mother of flavor—Meraki absolutely blew me away! We ordered the Family Gyro Platter and it’s perfect for anyone who (like me) can’t decide between juicy chicken, savory lamb, or flavorful pork. Each bite? Outstanding. And those handmade fries tossed with oregano? Chef’s kiss. The Gigantes Plaki—slow-cooked giant beans in tomato and herbs—was hearty, comforting, and deeply flavorful. You feel the tradition in every spoonful. And dessert? Let me not forget the baklava. A true slice of heaven. Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced layers of flaky pastry, nuts, and love. You can taste the craftsmanship. What made it all better? Irma, our amazing waitress. She didn’t just serve—she cared. She accommodated my leg cast and brought out mosquito repellent. That’s not something any restaurant has to do… but Meraki did. Honestly? Not enough stars. Highly recommend. Go hungry. Go grateful. Leave full and smiling. Meraki- “to do something with soul, creativity, artistry or love. To put something of yourself into your work.” And it shows. 🧑🏼‍🍳💋

I am a huge fan of mediterranean food, so I saw Meraki in the grove and had to try it out! I ordered the feta cheese philo dough pastries with honey as an appetizer, and they were AMAZING!!! I shared it with one person and left no crumbs. For main entree I ordered the halloumi salad, and the other person ordered the bacon wrapped chicken skewers. The salad was good, not the best, but it was honestly a solid 7/10. The skewers were okay, but the chicken was too chewy when you took a bite, almost as if they needed more cooking to have the right texture/taste. Overall, food was a 7/10. However, when we entered the restaurant, we asked for backyard seating, and as it was empty, we chose one of the tables we thought was most comfortable. When we were about to sit, the hostess (or manager??) quickly came over to us, and snapped at us. She death stared us, and quickly guided us to the specific small table she was “okay with us using”, clearly stating we were not to use the table we wanted. She had a very demeaning attitude, and made us feel unwelcome at this place. Remember, the whole backyard was EMPTY, and we had chosen a 4 person table, not a 10 person table or something. There were no reservations, and no one else coming in, so this was not excusable. Even if the table was needed, she could have easily been nicer about it if she had an issue with us. The servers were great, it was just this one hostess.

Google
Firstly, the food was amazing, flavorful, well cooked and great presentation. Prices were reasonable. Drinks 👍🏼 Second, Irma was my server and she was so nice and sweet! She was patient and respectful. Definitely recommend!

Google
Delicious meal with large portions. This is a smaller restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Our food came very quickly and the staff was eager to keep things moving (a little too eager) but overall it was a great neal.

Google
We stumbled across this little Greek spot as we were avoiding having to drive home in traffic. Food was delicious. The seafood pasta had great flavor without being too heavy. Grilled octopus was soft but with a perfect exterior crisp. Sangria was refreshing without being too sweet. Overall, we’ll definitely be back!

Google
Meraki in the Grove is a cozy spot with a great location and a nice atmosphere. The service was mixed - our first server was excellent, but when the shifts changed, the second one wasn’t quite as attentive. As for the food, it was decent but nothing remarkable. We were curious to try the place and gave it a chance. While it wasn’t a bad experience, it wasn’t particularly memorable either. We might come back, but it’s not at the top of our list.

Google
The food and service were amazing as always. We come here with friends and family. Enso was our waiter again. Again, he was superb. We will definitely be back. Tonight, I celebrated life with my mother and my best friend.

Yelp
So many restaurants to choose from in Coconut Grove but the vibes of Meraki stood out! Love the ambience and the sidewalk seating. The food was amazing and very large portion sizes. The menu has a good amount of options to choose from! My only complaint is the drinks were quite pricy. Definitely will be back though for the amazing Greek food!
google avatar

Yelp
They have patio in the back! Like a hidden gem, really good Greek food. Service is ok, waiter seems was unhappy that day.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best greek in town. I am a big fan of Meraki. Enso is always great and the food is always on point. Very affordable and you really feel you are in Greece. I highly recommend!!
google avatar

Yelp
This Greek food (whether the beach or the grove) hits the spot. The wine, ambiance, service, it is all good. The meat platter with gyro slices (lamb and chicken) was perhaps one of the best especially with the fries. To end the baklava was on point.
google avatar

Yelp
Good Greek restaurant in the Grove. Simple food, good service, and there is some outdoor seating so you can bring your pup. My only complaint is that it feels cramped inside; he tables are too close together, you bump into the other tables when you're trying to get out.
google avatar

Katherine D.

Yelp
Date night at Meraki - and the food was very good, large portions, and very filling. Very cute atmosphere, friendly and helpful waitstaff. Highly recommend the Meraki Platter for 2! Also highly recommend making a reservation since seating is limited. Parking in this area for any restaurant is a nightmare, especially on a Saturday night.

Yelp
Enso is so amazing!! He was very nice and was able to accommodate our large group. He was also very good with all of our allergies! The food was great and tasty. Great spot

Mauricio J.

Yelp
Flavia is an excellent server! Food is amazing! Need to try the Baklava. Ambience is great.

Yelp
Came here because it was a walking distance to where I was staying and I love Greek food. Let me start with the decor. It was so cute and it's like you're in Greece. The white and blue and the music was very nice. I sat inside and ordered a lamb skewer platter that came with grilled vegetables, fries, and bread. The lamb was a little dry but it was pretty good. The fries and vegetables were delicious. I got a spanakopita which was a delicious sesame puff pastry filled with cheese, and a horiatiki (Greek salad) which was absolutely delicious! Our server Dhmitri was great. He served us our food pretty quickly, we were greeted at entrance and was very friendly. The price came out to about $65 (without tip) and it was very worth it and pretty affordable considering the place, location, and food quality! Definitely recommend

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would - what a terrible experience from start to finish. The hummus was bland and had no flavor, the halumi salad looked like a bag of salad from the grocery store that was thrown together and then charged $18. And then to top it all off, we got served completely raw chicken, not even cooked slightly. I have NEVER experienced something like this in my entire life. The owner gave a simple apology and walked away and then had the manager handle the situation. I explained multiple times how dangerous this was and what a health hazard this was and they were in no way concerned- comped the bill and thought that would solve their issues. I'm still disgusted by the thought of biting into it. Do yourself a favor and do not come to this restaurant.

Yelp
Was feeling hungry walking around the Grove and stopped in for a light lunch. Food was FANTASTIC ended up taking a few things Togo. Irma was my waitress and she was great!! Helped me pick out a nice white wine and it was spectacular!! 100% recommend!! Headed to Total wine after to pickup a bottle!
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
Legit still in the restaurant and writing this!!! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is so helpful and kind!!! The food is delicious and their wine list is so extensive!!! A lot of great Greek wines (ask for the orange wine)!!! I had the octopus and the lamb skewers so tender and flavorful. definitely get the baklava for dessert!!!

Yelp
We were here for lunch couple days ago and the only ones in the restaurant around 11:30am previous times it has never been like this. Its a small romantic place with its interior decor Greek making you truly feel like your in Greece, there is also seating out front and at a very private rear area. The service and food is always good here its our favorite in Miami-Dade county, pricing is fair and affordable parking was easy to find on Main Hwy. We had 1 Chicken & 1 Pork Gyro Pita Sandwiches with greek fries both were large healthy portions along with a Fix Hellas greek beer in a small bottle (must try) we finished it off with a Galaktoboureko dessert (phylo with custard) delicious.

Yelp
Went as part of a party or 7. The staff had no clue and as the 2nd to arrive we found our party by ourselves. Mezze plates forcthe table. Ok. The same from any place. I ordered Mousakka. The worst version I have ever encountered. Period. What arrived was a piping hot crock of mess. Little to no eggplant, some dried out crumbled meat, covered in a milk soup. And little to no seasoning. They should be embarrassed. Was out of the beer I ordered, but sent wrong one and didn't tell me. Just a poor dining experience from the start.
google avatar

Mag T.

Yelp
The lamb Gyro here is my go to for take out!! So delicious and comes with fries. Large portions and affordable.
google avatar

Ivy S.

Yelp
We took advantage of the the seasonal Miami Spice menu and ate like royalty! The service, appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert were exquisite. We also had a visit from the owner himself, Yanis! Best Greek restaurant in South Florida. But be prepared to pay for the value of the meal and service.

Evin S.

Yelp
amazing food, amazing service!! everything we got was great. our waiter enso was the best and was so nice

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for a while now and am so happy I finally stopped in. Service- Service was ok. There was nothing spectacular about it and it didn't stand out in any way, but wasn't bad either. After the food arrived the waitress never came to check on us and my water ran dry during my meal, which is a major pet peeve of mine. I think one of the most major things you can do is just make sure your customers always have a beverage. No one wants to sit and be parched while eating. Food- The food was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my snapper meal. Very well seasoned and cooked. The veggies were delicious, the pita bread was fresh and nicely toasted, and the spanakorizo was enjoyable. It was my first time having that and I'm glad I tried it :) Very well prepared meal. Ambiance- Super cute - but much too small for my taste. It is very crammed in there and I don't like feeling like my dining neighbors are on top of me. There is no room for private conversations and just overall my personal space was not able to be respected in this place. If I were to come again I'd opt to eat outside. Prices- Prices were fair. Not cheap, but not overly either. But there was a discrepancy when it came time to pay. The Salmon platter was listed online and on their menu as $20, but they tried charging me $24. I noticed and brought it to the server's attention. She went and grabbed a menu and we looked at it together and I showed her. She went and got the manger who was very nice. He explained that prices were changing and it had not been updated yet, and honored the posted price. So that was well handled by the business. But I will say that if that plate jumps from $20 to $24 the prices are definitely getting too pricey. Overall, there were some pros and cons for me. Ultimately the food was delicious and this would bring me back again- but not if they really are raising the prices that much.

Yelp
I love this place so much! Fresh, authentic Greek flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is super friendly as well. Our waiter, Enso, was the best!

Yelp
Surprisingly, it was a fantastic experience to try Greek cuisine. The orange wine is also enjoyable.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not a big Greek food person, but son took me there bc it's his favorite place to go to while in college. Hummus was so fresh and creamy! Best ever. Cauliflower, omg and the chicken was awesome. I will definitely be back. Service was great and ambience was pretty. I was just surprised they only took card, no cash.

Yelp
Nice and quaint environment. But, I have to say It was great!!! Food was fantastic! Luisa was beyond attentive and accommodating. Again.. the food was incredible. Will highly recommend! Get the Miami Spice while it's going on and grab some extra sides if you can't decide. But everything was exquisite. Service impeccable!
google avatar

Yelp
Good and service was amazing. I can't wait to come back to Meraki! I had the churrasco kebab platter and it was amazing.

Yelp
My first impression was who i believe was the owner or maybe co-owner he gave us a warm welcoming, opened the door and found us comfortable sitting in the back patio. We were worried that it would be hot in the back patio which was the complete opposite, there were fans everywhere, which was pleasant. On top of the amazing customer service and the delightful aesthetic of the restaurant the food was amazing. Moreover the pricing is extremely reasonable for GOOD and ABUNDANT food. I love a restaurant that serves good food and is not stingy about the serving size. We tried the following: Mixed kebab pork chicken and gyro 5/5 shrimp saganaki 4/5 muscles 6/5 ( so delicious) pineapple salad 4/5 honey & sesame cheese puff 4/5 sangria 3/5 saganaki 5/5 All and all it was a great meal in a great environment to share with great friends. thank you

Yelp
Greek restaurant in the middle of a weekend busy shopping & restaurant area. If you like basic food that seems clean and free from high calorie sauces, this is a place for you. A shared player of seafood was not very flavorful but filling. Calamari, Octopus, shrimp, and salmon. Squash & zucchini add, side Greek salid and a $18 glass of wine hit us both at $190, including 20% tip.
google avatar

Natalia B.

Yelp
A must-try Greek restaurant in the grove! Every course was better than the last (the Loukanikos was unbelievable) and the portions were generous. Enso, our server, was an absolute joy to meet! He was extremely attentive and gave us good recommendations while we were ordering. We day in the patio and the ambiance was lovely, not too loud but lively. I will absolutely be returning!

Gabrielle S.

Yelp
Just went for cocktail hour, great food, everything came out in great time, the spanakopita was hot out of the oven and had great flavor. Loved the mussels too, I will return
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible experience! We celebrated my wife's birthday today and reserved a table for 12 in the back patio area. Such a smart move: the service was phenomenal and the food was just as great; the family platters are the way to go and the wine list is varied yet not overwhelming - there's something for everyone's palate. We will definitely by back real soon. Thanks again Christos and your entire staff.
google avatar

Shirley C.

Yelp
This restaurant was simply delicious! The intimate restaurant setting was wonderfully pleasant. Our server, Irma was spot on with all her recommendations. It was our first time visiting (but definitely not our last) and she suggested the grilled calamari- so tasty! As for the entree, she suggested the Seafood Opera w/spanakorizo for 2 and she NAILED IT!! I paired it with a glass of Almrya Chardonnay and a side of Greek fries. Just when we were ready to tap out, they delivered us with the Baklava and OMG - that was the nail to the coffin. Yanis, the owner was so inviting and made sure we were highly pleased and satisfied with it all. We will without question be back for round 2! Do yourself a favor - GO HERE!! They do not disappoint! The last bite was even better than the first.

Yelp
I'm living in a hotel in Coconut Grove on a job assignment until my permanent housing comes online. This is not anything like Khan being marooned by James T. Kirk on a dead planet. Meraki is a treasure and it's one of two restaurants in the Grove that are affordable and delicious. I've had the melitzanosalata (not pictured) but this is the second time I've had the chicken souvlaki platter. I subbed out the sauce they serve for tzatziki and it was better this time. I also had the gigantes (big beans baked in tomato sauce). To put it simpler, I don't miss living in New York anymore.
google avatar

Marcela P.

Yelp
This restaurant looks small on the outside but has a large courtyard which will truly make you feel like you are having lunch or dinner on a Greek island! The food was delicious! I had the seafood pasta and I definitely recommend! We also tried several appetizers (pictured) - my favorite was the hummus/ tzasiki platter). The service was also great, our server and food runner were very attentive! All in all a great experience and would go back!
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
The spinach spanakopita here is so good! It's buttery and flaky. I also recommend getting one of the platters. It can honestly be shared between 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are.
google avatar

Wendy K.

Yelp
We sat outside and our first server could not answer questions about the menu, so we asked for few more minutes before ordering our food. She never came back ... we waved at someone who was inside and she became our server. The tomatoes in the greek salad were not ripe, as you can notice in the pic below, but the seasoning was good. I had to send back my lamb skewers because the lam was overly cooked and dry when I had asked for medium. We decided to share the other entree, the lamb kabob, because it had taken a while for our meal to arrive and we did not want to wait another 30 min for the second entree to arrive. They were pet friendly and the unisex restroom was super clean.
google avatar

Yelp
While Meraki Bistro has been a favorite spot for Mediterranean cuisine in Coconut Grove, my recent visit left much to be desired. The Meraki salad lacked dressing, requiring diners to use low-grade olive oil and vinegar from the table, with lemon only available upon request. Additionally, the chicken souvlaki lacked any accompanying sauce, like tzatziki, diminishing its flavor. My friend's seafood rice had a peculiar sweetness, possibly from the tomatoes, which may not appeal to everyone. I also ordered a slice of toasted pita bread, which was a nice addition to the meal. However, the service was pleasant, with a friendly waiter. Overall, while the ambiance remains pleasant and the service was good, the quality and attention to detail in the dishes fell short of expectations. Perhaps investing in better quality ingredients could improve the dining experience

Talia B.

Yelp
TLDR: delicious food, erroneous and rude staff Got take out and it was delicious, however one item we paid for was not in the bag. We realized when we got home and sent back one person with the receipt, assuming the issue would be quickly solved. The front of house staff actually accused us of lying, saying they had checked. Obviously, we wouldn't drive all the way back to make up a missing item. Furthermore, they didn't have the item ready, and we had to wait for it to be made.
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night and we sat outside. Inside was also cute but it was a nice night and we wanted to enjoy the weather. The Greek salad was great! I added chicken gyro on top and they did not skimp! Great fresh ingredients. Ask for their meraki sauce to dip ! My friends shared the gyro platter! It was huge. Make sure to look for the Greek fries hiding on the bottom. There was not enough toppings for all the meat. They should include some more veggies and pita! But otherwise a great meal!
google avatar

Carolina G.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food and service. Enso was fantastic, the restaurant inside looks like a mini building in Greece, and the food was the perfect serving size. English and Spanish speaking restaurant!! Nubraska was exceptional as well and made us feel at home.
google avatar

Aurora L.

Yelp
We ordered Meraki for delivery wanting to change the typical take out menu. We were hooked! The following week we went to Coconut Grove! When we ordered online we had the chicken and lamb gyros, I also ordered the salad! Amazing, amazing the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are all so tasty, YUM! At the restaurant we started with the grilled marinated octopus, my husband ordered the lamb platter and I had the chicken platter. I have also had their beet & feta salad. I'm obsessed with the flavors of these delicious foods! The service was great and the ambiance is casual and welcoming. This is now our go to place on the weekends!

Sonia B.

Yelp
Great time and food at Meraki!! We had the meat and the seafood platters which were delicious! We celebrated birthdays and Meraki was so generous in providing an amazing dessert. Truly appreciate the wonderful experience.

Yelp
Absolutely the best Mediterranean restaurant I have been to in a long time or even best ever. Every single thing I ordered was amazing super high quality. I had the lamb chops the roasted vegetables were so good I actually ended up ordering an extra side dish. The lamb chunks were delicious down to the bone You get four and their very high quality. I also had the Turkish coffee along with baklaman. Turkish coffee was awesome and the baklavan is amazing it has hints of cardamon and clove really the best I've ever had. My waitress was Irma and she was on the ball. Constantly scanning the tables to see if anyone needs anything. I must say I was truly impressed. Also. If you sit out by the sidewalk it is great for people watching. One more thing I found that was great with the waiter, was that she reviews the bill with you before she hands it over.

Yelp
Pleasant small restaurant in CG with indoor and outdoor seating. Good menu and wine list. Great service, friendly waiter. Went for lunch. Had mezze trio, gigantes beans (super yummy) and Greek salad. All was very fresh. Warm pita bread. Salad particularly good. One star off for not having iced tea (???). Also the eggplant dip was way too garlicky for me but I know lots of people can't get enough garlic.

Jorge Z.

Yelp
Mouska Very good mousaka. Loved it. We enjoyed how tasty it was. Thank you for allowing us to

Scott S.

Yelp
What a great experience. Sat outside on a beautiful night in the Grove enjoying excellent Greek Food and people watching. Service and food were top-notch! Gyro meat is best I have had in a while.!

Yelp
I love Mediterranean food!!! This little place in Coconut Grove is homey, inviting, and best of all the food is delicious!! I have been here several times and the service and food have been consistently great. I like to bring friends here as well.

Yelp
Excellent Greek food, the service it's even better and it's a good Greek experience overall. We highly recommend everyone to come and enjoy a really cozy Greek experience
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Really good place! Good location and very big portions for the price We got the salmon and it was amazing, also the chicken skewers! I would come back again My only complaint is I felt a bit rushed by the waiters. They started cleaning our table before we even left!
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Wanted to try something new and am so glad we tried Meraki. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and had made reservations. It's a small restaurant and it was fairly busy at around 7pm. The staff was great and we were seated immediately. Started off with sangrias that were delicious! It's a large serving so we only had 1. We ordered the grilled octopus with chickpeas as an appetizer. It was fresh and flavorful and I'm not someone who normally orders octopus. We then split the pastitsio. It was delicious! It's a pasta dish with ground beef and cheese. We'll definitely be back to eat here again.

Yelp
Great food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff, beautifully decorated and solid selection of wines. The portions are on the generous side and the plates are great for sharing. Absolutely recommend!!!
