"Opened by Stanlee Gatti in October 2017, offering items like French-cut pork chops, organic cantaloupe, and caviar. The market faced criticism for gentrification and smoke issues but received compliments from residents. It has been closed since December 30, 2019, for restructuring." - Eve Batey

It is really about the level of customer service and the quality ingredients. In this case, food items that determine one's price. This is a boutique market in every aspect. It does not hold back from the artisanal chocolates to the gourmet tea selection; homemade food, it is divine! So don't go with the thoughts that it will be a (cheap) place, but if you enjoy to treat yourself and would like to, then Meraki Market is for you...

A gem of a small market centrally located in downtown San Francisco, CA, similar to an indoor Farmers Market, with fresh produce, gourmet ice cream, bone broth, meat market, and other niceties. Friendly and responsive staff, without any pretense. Surprisingly affordable for the quality of the market, staff, and selection. Exceptionally friendly to children!

Absolutely beautiful market. Has fresh bread and tasty sandwiches, lots of fresh fruits, and the best selection of chocolate in Nob Hill! The staff was so friendly! Will definitely be returning.

conditional 1 star (with LOTS potential) They've just opened. It's unclear what they want to be is my best guess which is why the marketing is unclear or missing. I was encouraged multiple times to visit opening month and was told by staff how reasonable prices are. Finally made it in the door and 1st thing I saw was a cucumber $3.00 ... ... ... It doesn't matter to me how magnificent your kitchen may be if your sandwiches are freezer burnt (previous review) My tuna paper somehow molded itself to my outer not so propper 🍞consistency and to charge $12.00 no matter the premium ingredients? Again, this all being conditional stuff here; I do have high hopes they decide on what they want to be soon as they're too close in geo radius to Whole Foods for this, 🍷 market on Mason and lest not forget: The econo market at O'Farrell & Leavenworth down the street. best 🍺 and 🍷 selection for a corner store. best kombuchas, has #mammachia (basically more space and the owner more time in the market to pick out these things we enjoy) at 1/3 fewer cost best #nonalcoholic #beers for a corner store. #clausthaler not just #odouls A kitchen class where you make your lunch for a lunch or come make dinner at lunch for fun would be an idea I would suggest as a cost loss to connect with the community vs a suggestion box and earn a 5 vs we need another store that can cost calculate a 3.something this is missing from both stores. ⚓ Steam just bought them so thus being local now and in your sweet spot, why not give them a spot on the shelf too cheers

Delicious prepared food! I had one of their Moroccan Specials for dinner and it was insanely good. So much flavor! At first I thought it was a bit pricey, especially for food to go. But after tasting it, I will definitely be paying for this again. A nice addition to the neighborhood. It would be nice if they had some prepared food in the morning to take to work for lunch, considering they are open so early.

It's an elevated market. Very expensive but a good selection of exquisite products. The deli has interesting lunch selections at which you can purchase and enjoy eating outside their store on the counter with stools over looking the street. It's nice sitting outside on a sunny day.

A delectable array of prepared and fresh, gourmet goodies. The store is well appointed, and customer service is outstanding, starting with the friendly doorman. Now I know where to pick up gifts for the hostess, including a nice selection of wine.

Such a joy to find this grocery store in my work neighborhood! Lovely staff, great sandwiches -- but that is just the beginning of what they offer in prepared food. A Market Hall aesthetic and almost best of all its not Whole Foods.
