"There’s a buzzy vibe to this brightly decorated townhouse with its cheery tiled kitchen and fresh fish display. Sustainable British and Spanish produce features in hearty dishes with leanings to Galicia and the Basque Country. Start with some sharing plates, then move on to grilled meat or fish." - Michelin Inspector

Nice restaurant in Cambridge. Food is good and well prepared. Wasn’t cheap but a nice place to sit and while away a few hours. Upstairs much more comfortable seating than downstairs. Service was good

An unplanned lunch stop. Food, service and wine recommendations were superb. Downstairs for lunch, the atmosphere was a little spartan, but it soon filled up. I understand that they use the upstairs seating area in the evenings, which is more comfortable.

Friday lunch at Mercado Central in Cambridge brings back memories of my lovely summer holiday in Galicia last September. The food was delicious, the host was amazing, the staff were friendly, and their knowledge of the produce was brilliant.

Lovely authentic Spanish meal. The Garlic Prawns were great and the best croquettas we've ever tasted. Sea bass was perfectly cooked and my wife enjoyed her Iberica Pork mains.

Food was bad in general. The mackerel has a strong pungent taste, and they added too much salt to it. Same with the lettuce. The fried aubergine was just plain and boring, and the chicken was just all right. Without the chicken being all right I would have given them one start instead of two. Seriously overpriced.

Me and my partner had been wanting to try here for a while. What a fabulous spot! The service from the get go was amazing. All staff were welcoming and on it throughout. I can’t remember the name of our server but he was thorough and gave excellent service. We told him at the end what a fabulous place it was and he passed on the feedback to his manager - who then came to thank us, which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent, the tortilla and croquetas were my favourite. We sat downstairs (I’ve seen in other reviews there is an upstairs) and the atmosphere was excellent - in our opinion. Absolutely loved it and will be back again.

First proper Spanish resturant been too. Food was totally different, exciting and beautiful. Excellent. Staff attentive but not over bearing Obviously doing something right as packed on a Friday and for next two nights. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Solid tapas location in Cambridge. I personally preferred all the starters over the main. If I came again, I would go all starters. The tomato salad was by far the best dish, followed by the pan con tomato, and gambas. The tortilla was also great!

Yelp
I love this new Spanish restaurant in central Cambridge. We were a group of eight and started with a selection of tapas. My favorites included the Mojama de Huelva - thinly sliced cured tuna with blood orange and radicchio which was light and extremely tasty, their amazing tortilla and camerones de Huelva. Clearly, Huelva is a good Spanish town for food! Then we moved onto our individual main courses. My whole John Dory was fresh and delicious - even though it came from Cornwall, not Huelva! Not only was the food excellent but the atmosphere and service were really good. This is a great restaurant.
