"Located a stone's throw from Trinity College, this brightly decorated townhouse is home to a Spanish restaurant exuding a warm, buzzy vibe – whether you admire the open-flame cooking on the ground floor or sit in the quieter upstairs dining room. Northern Spain has the largest influence on the menu, with Galicia and the Basque Country featuring prominently among dishes built around proudly sourced produce of great quality, such as wonderfully marbled presa Ibérica. Save room to finish with the 'tarta de Santiago'." - Michelin Inspector

I found that the scallops were doused in too much vinegar that I could not taste the natural freshness of the scallops. Paella was great. Skate wad cooked well, but I did not find that it went well with the sauce.

Had a great time with my wife here. We ordered their 3-course (to share between us) plus two starters and a glass of white sangria. Came out to be around 70+ pounds. Most items were reasonably priced except the scallops. 16.50 for two scallops was somewhat unreasonable, but rest of the meal was fine.

I went there for my birthday and the quality of the food was surprisingly good (I tend to be really cautious of eating at Spanish inspired restaurants). The meat was perfectly cooked, however the prawns were slightly overcooked which made peeling them harder than it should have been.

One of the most exciting menus I have seen in a long time and the actual food was all first-class. Everything is fresh and delicious and you can tell that they are genuinely passionate about good food. Looking forward to going back to sample more of the menu and daily specials. One of the best restaurants I have been to. Thank you.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious and the staff amazing. The sea bream with black pudding and beans was very tasty, as was the lentil stew.

Incredible food and the set lunch menu is a great value at £35 for 3 courses. Loved the monkfish and wild berry soda especially. Definitely deserves it’s spot on the Michelin guide ⭐️

We went to Mercado Central in Cambridge for our anniversary dinner and felt really well looked after from the moment we arrived. The team welcomed us with a complimentary glass of bubbles, a lovely touch that instantly set the tone for the evening. The food was excellent, proper top quality, ingredient-led cooking with real care in every dish. Service was superb throughout, friendly without hovering, and the staff were chatty and genuinely knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine choices. A great place for a special night out. We would highly recommend it.

The general restaurant is okay, the service was good, and the atmosphere was also decent albeit slightly too loud. However the menu is quite confusing, and the value for money is horrendous. I had the Iberian ham which was 36£ + 12.5% service charge and it was just the piece of meat on top of a bed of vegetables and beans. The meat was good and tasted well but there wasn’t much of it and the beans and vegetables were, at best, average. The beans had little flavour and were basically the whole meal. Should have been beans with ham and not the other way round. I ended up having pains in my stomach for around 3-4 hours after the beans. My girlfriend had the paella and she didn’t mind it, I tried to the prawns and again they weren’t anything really special. Defintely not bad but not great either. Now apparently these mains come in a lunch menu for the exact same price with a starter and sides but that wasn’t available when we went, and there was no dinner menu either. In conclusion I wouldn’t recommend this place to people, not worth the price and there are better restaurants in Cambridge for around the same or even for cheaper. Had high expectations and was a disappointing visit.

Yelp
Solid tapas location in Cambridge. I personally preferred all the starters over the main. If I came again, I would go all starters. The tomato salad was by far the best dish, followed by the pan con tomato, and gambas. The tortilla was also great!

Yelp
I love this new Spanish restaurant in central Cambridge. We were a group of eight and started with a selection of tapas. My favorites included the Mojama de Huelva - thinly sliced cured tuna with blood orange and radicchio which was light and extremely tasty, their amazing tortilla and camerones de Huelva. Clearly, Huelva is a good Spanish town for food! Then we moved onto our individual main courses. My whole John Dory was fresh and delicious - even though it came from Cornwall, not Huelva! Not only was the food excellent but the atmosphere and service were really good. This is a great restaurant.
