I had the most incredible party thanks to Marco and Zhana and their AMAZING food. We got a jamón ibérico and they prepared tortilla española and an assortment of other delicious tapas. Every single thing was a huge hit and the tortilla might have been the best I’ve ever had. Thrilled to have found this place!

We popped in and got a great lesson on tinned fish from the very friendly and knowledgeable Marco. They have biggest selection I've seen in NYC! I just find the packaging fun to look at, but I'm excited to try the ones we bought especially after hearing his opinion on which ones were best. They also sell tons of Spanish products including jamon, pantry items like olives and other preserved veggies and condiments, beans, potato chips, sweets, etc. This spot has a cafe in the back so you can eat there. They will open and plate any of the tinned fish you buy for $5.00.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of enjoying Mercado on several occasions. If you're hankering for an authentic Spanish tapas experience, then this is the place to be! And, if you've never been to Spain, you'll be adding it to your destination list after spending time at Mercado. Marco is knowledgeable and passionate about his offerings and makes you feel like you're hanging out at his house while he offers up excellent tapas and Spanish libations. We have sampled multiple items from the menu and all have been delicious. The selection of vermouths and wine is varied and well curated. We'll be back!

Lovely little specialty shop, offers a bunch of Spanish products that I thought I'd only find in Spain. They also have amazing fresh baguettes. Their staff is also phenomenal, helping us find what we need and offering to place an order for things they didn't already have. It's really a great fixture in the neighborhood. We're rooting for them!!

This is the best shop, period. Marco is a wonderful host with endless stories and recommendations for the neighborhood - a true New Yorker. Come here. Have a drink, get some tinned fish, eat some Tapas, get an espresso, hear or share a story - this place is truly a gem.

As if I were somewhere in Spain, eating tapas and drinking beer... everything is very fresh and the service is excellent.

Absolutely marvellous selection of olive oils, flavourful salts from Ibiza, and many enticing sweets and savouries. All of the food items served for lunch are really delicious and so fresh, the wine and coffee offerings are the tops. I love coming here and the owners, Marco and Zhauna are the best hosts, lovely.

Myself and my wife have become regulars at this store/tapas bar since the week it opened. We visit it almost every week and we love pretty much everything there - the products from Spain, the tapas and drinks and the friendly atmosphere Marco and Zhanna have created. Some of our favorites are vermouth Ataman as an aperitif, the flauta jamon sandwiches and the tapas "octobean" and "boquerones". If I could, I'd give this place ten stars, honestly.
