A Critic Slams Superkhana International in Logan Square | Eater Chicago

"A Glenview spot marrying Mexican plates with European influences: smoked octopus glazed in a chiles-and-tomato blend sits atop a cannellini-and-piquillo relish with romesco, while a lamb barbacoa channels osso buco sensibilities in a rich sauce finished with pickled onions and pistachio pesto alongside handmade tortillas. Shared taco platters run the gamut from a notably good beef barbacoa to shrimp with spicy curry and black rice. Desserts are competent but not essential — a well-executed guava-and-rhubarb crème brûlée among them — and overall the casual setting belies food that’s far from run-of-the-mill." - Jeffy Mai

We stopped here for brunch and were very happy with their brunch menu. They have a beautiful presentation of really delicious Mexican food. They also serve items that I don't generally think of as Mexican but they add a Mexican twist. The Salmon dish was gorgeous! They also offered very friendly service. Our toddlers even had a mini Spanish lesson and learned that gracias means thank you. 🙂 Free parking is available in the attached lot.

This place is SO AMAZING. I live out of town but fly in every month and this place is the first spot I go to when I leave the airport. Located in glenview by the train station, but I swear it is something you would find downtown in Chicago. The food is PHENOMENAL, I cannot stress that enough. The drinks are just as amazing. My go to is the guava margarita with guacamole and the shrimp and mushroom quesadillas. The carne asada is my fav dish to get along with the elote. The service is just as amazing as the food! Olga is always attentive and on her game! Love seeing her just as much as I love eating the food. If you come here, I guarantee this will be a new favorite spot of yours!

Round two tonight. Had the special of the night NY strip steak with and shrimp. Did not disappoint! Steak was on point especially since I always order medium rare+. Chef nailed it. The polenta side was so buttery and creamy. It just melted in your mouth. Guava margarita was delicious as well. Definitely the best place I've been in the last week's visiting the area.

Exquisite dining experience. I’ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and taste of this Mexican cuisine. Everything was tasty, unique and served at perfect temperature. Compliments to the chef! It wasn’t cheap, especially drinks, but I think it was definitely worth it. I recommend the rack of lamb and the octopus. Simply phenomenal.

Best pork tacos! Handmade tortillas. The guacamole is a little different with while cherry tomatoes, but still very tasty. Try the pineapple lemongrass agua fresca-- so refreshing!! We loved the food, but the service was a little lacking for how busy it was for lunch (only 2 other tables and us, so maybe 6-7 people total). We will definitely be back again for margaritas this time!

What a wonderful place! I just came here off the N. Glenview Metra station in the afternoon and the food is great, and there are a wide variety of drinks available. Very nice atmosphere! The fish tacos tasted very fresh and the iced hibiscus tea was delicious. Very nice place for lunch or a drink after work!

I was a bit wary of this place at first, as they didn't have many vegan options, but with minor alterations I had one of the most impressive meals I've had in a long time (Favianita's flautas). The staff is super friendly, the chips are hot and fresh, the tomatillo salsa is so flavorful, and the portion size was perfect. The rest of my party were also raving about their food and drinks. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!
