The Best Markets in Mexico City for Souvenirs, Street Snacks, and Ceramics | Condé Nast Traveler
"A traditional neighborhood mercado that felt authentically Mexican, Mercado San Cosme serves a local clientele and is great for essential goods, local foods, and delicious desserts; I ate homestyle meals at lunchtime and enjoyed spotting sandals, manicures, school uniforms, fabric, paper goods, and candy. Standout finds included beautifully embroidered aprons, leather sandals, and the quirky chocolate fudge 'rats' at the candy booth." - Scarlett Lindeman, Lauren Stroh

"Cosme is mentioned in relation to Santiago Perez, who the article says formerly founded it, situating Cosme within the network of chefs and restaurants linked to Mexico City’s influence." - Jaya Saxena
Wide variety of fresh delicious home made “a la chart food”. Exceptionally clean public restrooms. Very clean and well maintained place. Highly recomendable place to eat good food at a very low price ($240.00 MXP food for 2).

Some areas of the market is still closed, due to the fire but a lot of people go there everyday. I went on Friday and it was packed.
