There are a few good restaurants to try out. Sliders restaurant and Maggie's Cafe are the most unique in the area. There is a lot of parking and the surrounding artwork is immersing.

Love the authentic culture of Mercado del Barrio, regardless of modern architecture, Mexican-American culture is vibrant here, the food is good, people are friendly, and it's a refreshing retreat from the usual neighborhood. It has an identity y all it's own.
