Google
Great place for groceries, drinks, fruits, vegetables and great new restaurants! There are many options from ceviche, to pizza, to hamburgers, to local rice-and-beans-and-meat. Great place to buy draft beer, wines, nuts, cheese and so on. It has been remodeled recently. The surroundings have also had a wonderful improvement. A nice place to visit every day except Sundays. A sunny Saturday is a must!

Lovely place, lots of options to buy food and try the culture from Brazil. My favourite part was definitely the food from Amazon. Highly recommend

Delish foods. Lots of meats and fish stalls. A lot of exotic fruits to buy. We got mortadela sandwiches and oysters. So tasty. It is a small market with kind of expensive prices. Come here if you want a yummy lunch and do some grocery shopping.

Google
Solid 4 stars. But can not say it’s a 5 star place because the prices seemed to be very expensive. There were a couple unique shops on the periphery of the market that were interesting. Again, very expensive. Difficult to figure out the parking situation there. There seems to be a parking specifically for the market but it’s very hard to find and access. We had to pay for parking around the block at a lot across the street. There are better markets in São Paulo.

The GO TO place if you're looking for food (to eat on the go or to cook later). The sellers are great here and there's a ton of choice from fresh vegetable to meat. Everything is priced excellently and there is even a great little pastel (sort of like an empanada) place at the back of the market (outside). We'll worth checking that out for sure!

It was on a list of attractions in a travel book about Brazil. We came maybe the wrong day, which is during Carnaval, but it was slow and the selection of products seemed to less than what we see in the open air ferias throughout the city on most days. It is still a neat place, and I will come back on what I expect will be a more normal day.

Wonderful local spot! Not as big as I thought. Fun to walk around and grab lunch with a local flavor!

Yelp
Come here to shop for groceries, gifts, or food to eat there or take with you. This place is two levels and contains various vendors spread throughout the vicinity. The day I went, it seemed calm - not a lot of people, no hustle or bustle like other markets I have been to in other parts of the world, but there were still many great shops to take a look at. Fresh fruits and produce can be found on the lower level. Had I not already gone shopping at the supermarket that was across the street from where I was staying, I would have came here for fruit! Dried products like beans, grains, herbs, oils, sauces and cheeses, small meats like salami or ham also found on the first floor. There is a flower shop that had uniquely arranged dried and fresh plants and flowers - perfect for gift giving or sprucing up your own space! I wish I had bought some pimenta aziete. Meats, seafood, and restaurants are on the upper level. There are multiple open staircases in the building to get up and down. I had lunch at a pizza (the pizza was really good - calabresa) place with a beer. Dined inside by the restaurant front, but you can really sit anywhere with your food. After being inside, I packed up what I couldn't finish and was about to head out when I decided to stop at the beer / wine shop where I had a beer there. Leaving out of the building, I almost bought something else, lol but I was so full. I walked outside and it was really nice! I liked the picnic tables with umbrellas for shade outside. It would have been nice to eat there. I sat down at one of the tables for maybe 10-20 minutes before taking off to go back home. I wasn't sure if it was going to rain because I hadn't taken my umbrella with me that time. Walking here from staying in Pinheiros was fine - not hard to get to at all though I had no idea what to look for. I'm glad I had the chance to find it and now I know what to look for next time! Hopefully they get more foot traffic on other days / times.

Yelp
Food and food and food. No better place to get your fruits and veggies. Sometimes it isn't the cheapest when your local supermarket is having a special but its going to be a lot cheaper than your Pao de Acucar and fresher too. Fairly small compared to the Municipal Mercado de Sao Paulo but it still has pretty much everything you need to cook a hearty meal. Another reason to come here is the Mocoto Cafe serving lunch and other treats.

Yelp
This building is totally depressing and a little hard to find but definitely worth it. There is no cheaper option to buy fruits, veggies, spices, cheeses, meat and fish in the area. It can be a bit annoying going stall to stall to get your different items in today's super market age, but I promise you will save big time and potentially make some new friends or get cooking tips along the way. There is parking directly in the building entering on R. Dr. Manoel Carlos Ferraz de Almeida. It's a bit tight in there but you might also be able to park on the upper deck if you have a larger car. There are also a few restaurants on the upper level - Comedoria Gonzalez inside and a few more traditional spots for pastels and pasta outside. The selection of foods is like a compressed version of the main mercado municipal downtown with lots of different unique spices, fruit you didn't know existed and any cut of meat you could dream of. Unfortunately Pinheiros got totally gypped when they built this market, as it looks like an old war bunker, but the lively stall owners and colorful produce keep spirits high and make for an enjoyable shopping experience.
