Mercato Albani - Bolognina

A small market in the area Bolognina where could find fresh and very delicious products!

Very good local market with several choices of green grocers, butchers, alimentari etc with some specialist stores for cheese, seafood. A good gelataria, a couple of bars, a sartoria (clothes alteration _ mending) - a real find.

A characteristic and historically significant little market featuring fresh produce, deli items and basement bargains on clothes. Good prices, although sometimes the range of what’s available can be limited - but then I guess that’s what you get from a market of vendors who live more seasonally than we might be accustomed to in the world of supermarket abundance. Worth a visit. My favourite is the stall run by the Chinese husband / wife combo!

The stalls seem lovely, but not all are open during the day despite summer hours being advertised.

A good quality market; there are a lot of products, also some producer-to-consumer store. Also a lot of places to have a drink and a good appetizer. Some stores are highly specialised, they sell local products and are very prepared on the subject and willing to share their amazing knownledges. There is also a good events programme.

A bit rubbish. Not many stalls open on a weekday morning. Little choice. Sundried tomatoes looked hinders years old.not many nice bars or restaurants around. A real disappointment.

High energy place to catch up with friends and great food

Very fast when working. Service is erratic. Often only one train in operation. No ticket refund. Bus replacement is an option. With the normal bus lines, the journey costs half.
