This farmers market was enchanting! Highly recommend with tons of fresh produce and flowers!

Cute little farmers market on Mercer Island. Many stalls for fresh local produce and ethnic street food. There's also usually live music for entertainment and it's quite walkable. Dogs not allowed.

Love coming to this farmer’s market. One of the few that are open on Sundays. Lots of vendors selling various things as well as a live band. Also plenty of shaded areas around Mercerdale Park where you can sit and picnic. Parking can be a little tough but the park does have a limited or you can park around the neighborhood.

Wonderful way to celebrate community, high quality local goods, live music, and tons of space for kids from 1-109 to enjoy the outdoors.

Our farmers market is good, it’s a little small and I do wish they allowed dogs. It’s a bit frustrating since most other farmers markets in the greater Seattle area are dog-friendly. Hopefully, this is something they’ll consider changing in the future! Everyone brings their dogs anyways and just walks them around the perimeter.

Google
The market doesn’t offer much variety, which is okay, but I don’t quite understand the ‘no dogs’ rule. Some mean people even use it as an excuse to be rude to dog owners. Def not going back ^^

Great location! Parking nearby, a park with skate park, climbing gym, benches and a field, and a simple and easy to navigate setup. I walked back and forth easily and was able to remember booth locations if I needed to double back for anything. The information desk helped with finding specifics, as well. Booths included food vendors, jewelry, art, honey, nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, art and furniture items. There was also a public bathroom available! Will definitely visit again!

This is a great little Farmers Market held Sundays on the Island. Local produce, flowers and local honey. Of course, it's all the more fun when your friends are selling breakfast tacos!

Yelp
Visited this farmers market for the first time on its opening day, June 1st. It was quite popular as we had to park a couple blocks away in a residential area since the nearby Rite Aid parking was off limits except for disabled visitors to the market. The overall layout was L-Shaped with lots of fresh from farm produce, food trucks and stalls, bakery items, artisan goods, etc. Most were quite busy with shoppers and eaters. A park was right next door where people could enjoy their food purchases or just hang out. We tried the strawberry ranier cherries (now in season) which were sweet but I couldn't quite discern the strawberry flavor. However we still picked up a bag along with a half flat of local strawberries. Turned out the cherries were a bargain compared to the grocery stores we stopped by later. The crowds started to increase so weaved our way out.

Yelp
I like this farmers market because there's a lot of options. The fact that it's also by a giant park makes it extra good...theres tons of seating, lots of free parking and so much to see and do. Service I guess depends on the vendors but everyone is so nice. We grabbed few things- coffee from Hola Cafa (always good), Snohomish Bakery (cherry chocolate almond cookie and pecan sticky bun), and North Bend Bakery (maple bacon donut, apple fritter and tried the carrot cake).

Yelp
I've grown quite fond of this market. It's grown a bit larger in the two years since moving to WA. A fun way local outing on the Island. Most vendors prefer cash here, FYI. If you use a card there may be a minimum purchase. Which is how I ended up with two loafs of bread from the bakery vendor. I also had a sour cherry danish which I ate quickly, so no photo. Always a family friendly vibe here. Dogs not allowed in the market but in the surrounding areas. All vendors offer great service. Come early for best produce options. Lots of tables and shady areas to eat your food. Enjoy your life! SYOY!

Yelp
Enjoyed a walk through this farmer's market. There were maybe 3 or 4 produce stands. There was 1 mushroom stall I have never seen before and I dont remember the name now. Fir Island "Our family farm" was there and had good strawberries. Snohomish bakery was there. Street parking.

Yelp
I love Farmers Markets and this one did not disappoint! There weren't too many shops, but I still loved walking around and listening to the live performance. There were a couple of fruit stands, pastry stands, hummus stands, flower stands, and more! There were a few especially popular ones like the Ethiopian Food Stand and the Seattle Pop Stand. There's a nice grassy park area right next to the Farmer's Market, which is a great spot to eat what you've bought and listen to the performance. The market wasn't overly crowded, but the atmosphere still felt nice and lively. Would definitely go back soon!

Yelp
First time being at the Mercer Island Farmers Market and I do have to say it was small but cute , they have a few good/snack stands and a few stands with some good looking veggies waiting to be bought ! It wasn't terribly busy where I was bumping into people it was actually quite comfortable to walk around . Everyone who was hosting were very nice and kind . This farmers market was a little small and didn't have lots of different stands compared to others I've been too that usually has stands with home decor , scarves , jewelry , cards , etc . But it was still nice , I wouldn't mind coming back again specially for some kettle corn and cookies those are worth it ! Pricing on the kettle corn was pretty normal , the cookies were a little more on the pricey end but I just had to try the s'mores ! I enjoyed my visit to the farmers market and I hope you do as well !

Yelp
Such a great little spot with so many good local choices. I visited in late summer and they had amazing berries and local produce that I packed in my suitcase home!

Yelp
Enjoyed the market at MI. They had a whole section of take out food stalls for eating there or taking home. The day I was there a really good bluegrass band playing worth a listen! Of course plenty of fruits, veggies and flowers. Breads, baked goods. I went home with several bags of great stuff! Unfortunately when I got to my car it was broken into. I wasn't expecting that. But who is? Other than that side it was overall a nice adventure.

Yelp
I love having a neighborhood farmers market to walk to! I think prices are reasonable and I love having local fruits, veggies, and meats where you KNOW where they come from.

Yelp
Went to the opening day of the market in the summer. There were many vendors (mostly focused on fresh produce --e.g. vegetables, meats, fruits---and prepared food --e.g. ice cream, cookies, pizza, burgers, Hawaiian food, etc and not much focused on arts and crafts). Parking was convenient. You can park across the street from Wells Fargo for free. We spent about 45 minutes there and got some of the freshest and sweetest strawberries from the market @ $16 per half flat! I would have given it one more star if there are more vendors. Pluses for the vendors offering mostly whatever is growing at the peak of the season.

Yelp
Treasured by our family! A wonderful community resource, lots of great vendors, music.

Yelp
Always an enjoyable weekend stroll. The usual fare from a Farmer's market, just a little smaller. Still, very much to my taste. Fresh fruits, veggties, meat, baked goods and about a dozen food stalls/carts... you get the idea. Usually a live band playing too. Bonuses: its right next to Mercerdale Park, for a mini-picnic and kids to play around. There is a kids acitvity stall, where they usually have small kids learn about plants, and take-away a small goodie to continue the activity at home.

Yelp
The Mercer Island Farmer's Market occurs near the Mercerdale Park on the north side of the island every Sunday this summer. They have a few food trucks, to check out and have a ginger beer and local brewery stand. There is something for everyone there; but unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. I tried to sneak my dog in, but the market staff enforces it.

Yelp
This is a good market...kind of on the smaller side as far as how many vendors they have but some good quality vendors that you see at some of the other markets. Good to see the city of Mercer Island representing. I stopped by my regular stops but saw a new vendor Kiss my Grits tried it....whoa! Really good!

Yelp
Went opening weekend 2013. With a few dozen vendors, live music, and a few food trucks, it made for a nice Sunday day out. Plenty of produce vendors and easily manageable crowds makes shopping for groceries easy. Plenty of parking can be found across the street from Wells Fargo

Yelp
I love farmer's markets and came in 30 minutes before closing, there were lots of organic veggies, ice cream, pizza, baked goods available. loved sampling the apple cider today! keep up the great work and I hope to see more vendors over the summer!

Yelp
Definitely one of my go-to farmer's markets this past - it's definitely smaller than many others but it has everything I need. Easy parking, lots of fruits/veggies, food trucks and specialty shops (Ellenos greek yogurt, High-5 Pie, etc). Plus they have a playground nearby, grassy lawn for dog watching, and little concerts!
google avatar

Yelp
The products are generally extremely expensive and not worth the price, perfect for purchasing flowers or a singular vegetable. Besides the prices, the atmosphere is positive and quaint, great for children or just a stroll. Can be crowded and loud at times but it is just an average market.

Yelp
Such an awesome farmer's market! We went last year a bit and decided to check it out again this year. More stands than last year, and they are quality stands, too. The produce is varied (and delicious!--shout outs to the peaches/pears guy), the food is high quality and interesting (cool quinoa bowls, crepe caravan!!, Whidbey Island ice cream bars...), and there is plenty of parking. It's a little bit of a drive for us, more than our local one, but I like that we can do a slightly closer one on Saturdays or hit this one on Sundays if we want to go that day instead. Farmers Markets for all the weekend days!

Yelp
my new favorite market! there are amazing vendors at this market and there is always plenty of street parking. there are 2 organic berry vendors, a smoked salmon vendor, Maninis gluten-free, organic meusli cereal, flowers, prepared foods, ice cream, organic cherries & apricots...the list goes on and you really can't go wrong. There is something for everybody for lunch, so make a day of it. There's even coffee, and if tea is your thing, tully's has a walk-up stand in a parking lot at the east end of the market. for a recipe based on what's available at this market, check out my blog: http://www.sensitiveinseattle.com/strawberry-apricot-muffins/

Yelp
Small but good variety of vendors and food trucks. Disappointed that dogs are not allowed but folks seem to walk the perimeter of the market with their dogs and it seems fine. We had pizza from Veraci and tamales. Overall good produce and ample parking. If I'm back in the neighborhood, I would go again.

Yelp
Opening day was this past Sunday so we decided to go before heading to Luther Burbank Park to use their off leash dog area. When we arrived, we were disappointed to see a "No Dogs Allowed" sign for the market, but we understand. Other than that, the market was super fresh and had about 5-6 food stands/trucks for a great lunch. There was a band playing too, and it is right next to a big grass park to lay out. Awesome times on the island.

Yelp
Easy to get to, great selection of produce and food vendors. Special chef demo days, master gardeners, etc. etc.

Ken G.

Yelp
The only negative thing is the market isn't open year round. Can't wait for the summer to be here and get the great stuff.

Julie S.

Yelp
The Mercer Island Farmers Market has a great mix of seasonal fruits and vegetables, cheese, fish, meat, baked goods, ice cream, pizza, apple cider and other delicious prepared foods. The MIFM has become a community gathering spot. Every week , mid-June through mid-October, there is music, a children's table, master gardeners and hospitality tables and chairs to share a snack or lunch. There is just one more market left in 2010: the Thanksgiving Harvest market, scheduled for Sunday November 21, 11-3, in the street next to Mercerdale Park. Come meet your neighbors and friends.

Yelp
By now (summer 2013) this farmer's market has grown to be pretty good -- first years, selection was bit limited, but now everything from food choices (eating there) to fresh produce and especially fruits & berries is good. Lots of parking, not super-crowded, pretty cool.
