Meridiana Wine Estate

The wine tasting at Meridiana was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. I learned a lot about the entire winemaking process, and the tasting itself was beautifully presented and well paced. The wines were accompanied by a lovely platter of local hams, cheeses, olives, and other nibbles, which complemented the tasting perfectly. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the wines at our own pace. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very polite, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic experience — highly recommended.

We enjoyed a very decent wine tour with tasting of 3 locally produced wines accompanied by a platter of local foods. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming, this is overall a great experience. The wines made by Meridiana are more on the lighter, fruitier side and of great quality. There is a shop to buy bottles for take away as well.

Lovely place and lovely people. BUT. To start of with they spoke for about 1h about history about the wine and the place. We were all standing and was not aware of the time it would be going on for. I would have loved to see more discussion and questions being asked bc there was none. The wine is delicious and the staff seem very engaged which is nice. I really like the place and would advise anyone to go. But for the staff, please maybe change the way you handle the speech. It was way too long and before even getting a taste of the wine. More interactivity and to maybe check the wine yard. Because standing for 1h without knowing you will and just listen on quite niche stuff is a bit difficult. The staff is very nice but please consider my feedback :)

Excellent wine tour. Red and white wines were very good. Did not expect such good quality.

Lovely afternoon spent at Meridiana. Informative tour of the grounds and cellars. Not rushed but also not too long. This was followed a tasting of 3 wines (2 white, 1 red) and a nice meat and cheese platter with breads. Definitely recommend a visit before / after a trip to the craft village and Mdina. Only minor feedback I’d give is that water should be included in the tasting / tour price

Would highly recommend, especially for something to do outside of the summer season. Great tour of the inside of the vineyard, with 4 wines to taste and a huge platter of food. The staff were amazing and friendly. Really enjoyed the terrace where we were seated to enjoy our drinks and food with a view looking out towards Mdina. Bought a bottle of wine afterwards. Added bonus of 2 friendly cats to say hi to. Toilets on site. Location on Google is also correct so easy to find.

Very pleasant wine tasting experience enjoyed in the tranquil surroundings of the vineyard. While we arrived too late to enjoy the platter the formal tasting; we still enjoyed a couple of brilliant glasses of their “Nexus” range. Very reasonably priced; friendly service. Would recommend!

Wonderful wine tasting experience. The tour guide talked about the wine making process, walked us through and talked to us about the property's facilities, followed by visiting the wine cellar and the tasting itself. We sampled 4 wines: 2 whites, 1 rosé and 1 syrah. The cutlery platter consisted of cheese, olives, meat varieties, grapes, etc. The whole process happens on the property's terrace overlooking the vineyard. Recommending this to those interested in wine tasting experiences.
