I was thrilled to find a vegan restaurant around the southern Bay Area, and this one was at a convenient location. After visiting here, I would definitely recommend it as an economical option for anyone that wants to enjoy decent southeast Asian vegan food! Almost every dish was below $15 which made it really affordable, on top of what I had being extremely tasty!
The establishment's slogan about promoting vegan dining is very clear, and as much as I am not vegan myself, I love it when veganism is available as an option. As a result, I ordered the eggplant tofu clay pot, which was amazingly delicious. While I was not sure what house special sauce they had used, it definitely tasted a bit like there was garlic sauce included, which made the eggplant tasty. One can pour some of the sauce on top of the given rice, which I ended up picking brown rice, and it would make the whole thing super tasty. Either way, I very much enjoyed it. In terms of the spring rolls, they tasted as good as I imagined it to be, because the peanut sauce carried the main flavor when dipping the rolls in it. Mint leaves, tofu, vegetables altogether allowed a mixture of different flavors that made it a pleasant culinary experience. The tom kha tasted more sour than sweet, most likely because it didn't have enough coconut milk, which wasn't a bad thing and would be dependent on different people's tastes.
Overall I think this establishment is one that anyone can easily trust to create good, quick, and cheap food. While I don't live around the area, I would recommend it to anyone who does.
