I have been a client over the years, but this one session has resulted in not returning nor recommending the organization.
On Saturday, December 12, 2020 - I stopped by for a Brow Clean-Up. I had my brow clean up and filled, and went about my way. I shortly felt a burning, and decided to look at my face closer...
Both of my browbones had their skin torn off - by large sums. I understand there are a times where nicks can occur, but these were full patches of skin. Photos attached.
I returned immediately to the location to file a complaint, to which Christina (I believe that was the receptionist’s name) and I tended to me in the most professional manner. She immediately called the Harlingen manager, to whom I spoke to on the phone. I’m explained my skin routine (face wash, sunscreen, CC cream, no acne medications) which would not have impacted the waxing. I was advise to place Neosporin (which I did not accept at the time given the high irritation of the wound), and was provided a refund (tip provided was not refunded).
I ask that your organization looks into error administration from a stylist perspective. At NO point during the session did the stylist, Jenny, acknowledge the strip removed from the first brow bone, comment, and correct for the second brow bone. Also - after the session, the stylist made absolutely no comment on what had occurred. Unfortunately, I was not able to see the error due to the brows being heavily filled in. When I returned to file my complaint, Jenny not once came to view what had occurred and provide feedback. Unacceptable.
One day later - after sleeping with suggested cream by the Manager - the healing is stark colored. Photos attached. My concern is now the healing - the skin integrity, the potential discoloration, and the time it will take to the even out again with the rest of my eye. Damage has been done, and now I need to navigate and hope for fruitful outcome.
