Great food and cocktails! Fun and energetic atmosphere. Friendly, quick service. I really enjoyed the whipped feta dip appetizer and the bowl options on the menu. The avocado bowl with chicken was delicious and full of flavor.

I've been here several times through the years. Usually it's been a pretty solid spot and the food has been great. It has a fun vibe. But this time, while seated right away, we sat at a table for 20 mins without any staff even bringing some water let alone being asked if we wanted to order a drink or food. After several staff members walking past our table without a word, we left. I understand being busy but if no one can even bring a glass of water and say "I'll be with you shortly" within 20 mins, that's not really excusable and pretty disappointing.

We met here for dinner during happy hour. All of us ordered drinks. They were blended quite well. I had a rum punch, which was interesting to see in slushy form, but it was pretty good. I thought it could have used a little squeeze of lime or something to make it more tangy. We ordered french fries with garlic aïoli, cheese, curds, fried brussels sprouts, and I had the crispy shrimp burrito. The french fries and cheese curds I think were my favorite. I love the french fries that have the little flaky crispy bits on it so those were pretty tasty. The brussels sprouts Were good, but they needed some balance. They could have used more salt and a little bit of acid like a drizzle of balsamic. It was just a bit one note and very sweet. But the brussels sprouts were cooked very well. The crispy shrimp burrito was disappointing to me. I had a feeling that the shrimp would not be crispy inside of the burrito because it was beer battered. I was right the shrimp got quite soggy inside of the burrito and they seemed like they might have been a bit undercooked. It was also strange to me how the burrito was served. It came cut in half cut side down on a sizzling cast-iron skillet with liquid cheese. Inside the burrito, there were very large pieces of red cabbage. The texture of the burrito was a bit offputting with the soft beans soggy shrimp And very crispy crunchy cabbage. I probably would not order this again. When I go again, I think I will order a burger. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice other than it being quite chilly inside.

Stopped here Saturday morning for brunch. Use to visit this location years ago when it was the MOCT night club, had to stop in and see what it was like now! So happy we chose to stop; we found Merriment Social to be a warm, welcoming environment with pleasant staff. We chose to sit at the bar. Husband had an omelet type dish. I had avocado sourdough toast with a fruit bowl. After ordering, I noticed there were a couple other dishes I could have had altered slightly to meet my vegan preferences - look forward to trying one of those on our next visit. Service was friendly and efficient. Pricing was reasonable. Didn’t have alcoholic beverage during this visit, but bartender mentioned an all you can drink mimosa was available this day. Also saw some visitors enjoying bloody Mary’s that looked really good! Atmosphere was clean and beautiful with lots of plants. Would be interested to know if they open the overhead garage type doors during the warmer months. Would love to visit in the summer and enjoy the outdoor seating as well!

Nice place. Great atmosphere and staff. Super friendly and helpful on what to pick on the menu. We went on Sundays brunch so a very nice selection. We had the merriment burgers and cheese curds along with water and Malibu Sunrise. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you Lia for a really great first impression of this place. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Google
We had brunch here with friends. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. It was busy, but not packed. We enjoyed most of the food that we ordered. However, the meats on the cheese board tasted off and had some discoloration. We eat everything and we didn’t have any desire to finish the salami. The entrees were good, but nothing that was as remarkable as the cheese curds…they were served in a ramekin as fresh curds melted with a crispy topping and croquettes. It was unique and delicious. Our drinks were good. The cocktails were interesting. I had a Bloody Mary and it definitely hit the spot.

Staff was very friendly and the overall atmosphere is great. The food was pretty good. Felt like the appetizers were slightly more flavorful than the actual burger I order (the burger was still good but felt like it could have been a little better in flavors.) Beer selection was good Whiskey selection was superb!

Had a reservation to meet some friends for brunch. That live in Milwaukee and we met them at this place. It did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very bright and relaxed and the food was amazing. Large portion if you are a Milwaukee Boulevard apologize this is a good place to try

Yelp
Went to Merriment tonight with my wife and dog. They were very welcoming. We sat outside in front of the open garage doors. Waygu burger was great. Drinks were cold and service was attentive.

Yelp
We have always been fans of Merriment Social's burgers, and general service. This was our first time back in a while, and unfortunately, we were disappointed. I ordered the spicy sausage rigatoni, which was rather bland. And, at $19, we were shocked to find out my husband's chicken tenders came with no fries or side. Even the kids meals included fries. Menu needs some work, or we likely won't be back.

Yelp
This place is adorable! Ambiance is epic! Omg the fun of it. Disco ball? Come on! :) Service was good. Hostess was eh. Bartender was awesome! A Food was fantastic!

Yelp
I liked the brunch here! I got the biscuits and gravy and they were so delicious. Got without eggs because I don't like those but very good. I don't handle spice well and I thought it was the perfect level. Our waiter was also very good, super patient and funny. Would definitely come back

Yelp
OK - there is my thorough review of this restaurant ---------- First of all, I am celiac, and I absolutely loved that they have gluten-free buns and were fairly aware of what was gluten-free and what was not OK - here was what was fantastic Merriment burger - I love this burger and would recommend it. The fries are made in the same fryer as other things and they have some kind of coating on them so I couldn't get the fries, but the Caesar salad was great for some reason. The burger reminded me a little of Culver's. Wings -someone got wings who was a bit of a snob about their wings. Anyway, he said these were great and were even a bit hotter than he expected in a good way. Go Che Chong cauliflower bowl (I'm sure I misspelled that) - apparently this is super fantastic and everyone at the table had to try it OK, there was a choice or two that we would not get again Salmon bowl - this one probably was in last place. I would even go so far as to suggest they might want to retire this one. Chicken Euro club - this was not bad, but I don't think we would order it again especially when so many of the other things on the menu were so good. The service was great and it's got a cool vibe inside The night we were here was a Friday night and it was hopping. I didn't see if they had gluten-free beer, but if they did, it wasn't on the menu I saw Anyway, a big thumbs up for me

Yelp
How have I neglected to review Merriment Social?!?! I've been here several times now, for group events, with my husband, and with other people that I've wanted to share the place with. Not once, have I ever had a bad meal. NOT ONCE. Hamburgers rule the day here, and they are delicious! I've had so many different ones as the menu changes, or as they have hosted burger-offs, with customer designated ingredients. These burgers would then go head to head with another customer designed burger until a winner was eventually crowned. There is other food here, too, and I'll let others speak to that, as I almost exclusively get a burger when I come here. The cocktails are spot on and creative, and even the mocktails are special. I had to ask the bartender more than once, "Are you SURE there's no alcohol in here?" because it tasted like there was alcohol in there (and not in a bad way). A few things to note: it can get loud in there, as there aren't really any soft surfaces to absorb sound, and it can get chilly if it's a little breezy out and the garage doors are open. This place is a not-so-hidden-gem hiding in the 3rd ward. 38/2024

Yelp
We stopped at Merriment Social for a Sunday brunch at around 10:15am and were able to get a table easily! I would say by the time we left a little after 11am it was pretty packed. There were a lot of large groups that they were easily able to accommodate, a lot of which looked to have made reservations. We sat upstairs and had a great view of the entire restaurant. Our food came quickly and was really good overall! I had the biscuits and gravy which could have just had the tiniest bit more flavor, but overall I really enjoyed. The service was friendly and efficient and we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Skip taco Tuesday. No flavor. Fish tacos were much better AND huge. Brussel sprouts & French fries were great!! Spinach artichoke was good but nothing to write home about. The cast iron curds were tasty but didn't hit the cheese curd spot. Our server did warn us it's a deconstructed cheese curd. The table's favorite was the cauliflower bowl. The NA options were A+ Someone loved the strawberry marg & espresso martini. The oogey gooey butter cake was too gooey, nothing like stl

Yelp
Came for a late brunch on Saturday around 1:30 pm and we were seated immediately. Service was quick, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food was decent, but there were a couple of things that could have been better to make this a 5 star experience. We ordered the beignets to start which, according to the menu had a vanilla creme in it, but actually came with a lemon flavored creme. We enjoyed it, but were a little surprised and confused by the lemon flavor. For our mains, we got a crab cake benedict that came with hash browns and the burrito #1 with a side of bacon. Portion sizes were generous and we had a good amount of leftovers to take home. I liked the crab cake benedict which was flavorful with perfectly poached eggs, but the burrito could have used some more flavor. It actually didn't taste like it was seasoned at all and the salsa it came with was also light in flavor. We also felt the side of bacon we got was overly greasy. Overall, I still love the ambiance of the restaurant and their creative menu options. It's a solid brunch spot if you want big portions and to be somewhere nice and lively but not overly packed.

Yelp
Awesome birthday brunch at Merriment Social! Really good breakfast burrito and a huge portion of their fries with aioli. The burrito had crispy hash browns, sausage, eggs, and bacon with this tangy avocado verde salsa. Such a simple dish but had tons of flavor and loved the grilled tortilla! The fries were literally perfect- so crispy and soft on the inside and I love garlic aioli I could have eaten the entire thing! Opted for one of their mocktails and the "you deserve it" was so good I wanna recreate it! Lime juice, strawberry purée, mint, soda water- it was so refreshing! Super spacious inside with a good vibe and affordable brunch! Will have to try the bottomless mimosas too with all 3 flavors:)

Yelp
Came here for a family brunch for the first time. We ordered the brussels sprouts to share, and it was absolutely delicious. It was sweet and had walnuts. We also ordered mimosas, and I ordered the brussels sprout salad as my main. It had goat cheese, squash and asian pears! Definitely recommend. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Service was awful. We had a group of 14 and it took an hour for food to come out intermittently. My wife, son and my food hadn't come out after 1 1/2 hours so we cancelled our order. The people that got food said theirs was average at best

Yelp
Me and a friend stopped here for dinner on a Friday evening. They have a happy hour ending at 6 which is nice if you can get in earlier after work. The menu was different than what I saw online and it looks like they make take different variations of similar flavors and foods. We ordered cheese curds to try and they were delicious. There was a garlic flavor which was almost addicting. I had to stop myself so that my friend wouldn't feel like I overtook the appetizer. I ordered a spicy fried chicken wrap and my friend got a quesadilla. She wasn't the biggest fan of hers but I enjoyed my wrap. I like the overall ambience of this place. They have a large door they open to let the air in on nice days. I would come back to try more as I enjoyed my first time here.

Yelp
I went here for a friend's birthday and tried their new brunch burger. The burger patty was delicious and thin (which is my favorite way to have a burger). However, the egg was a little overcooked for a dish like this. Also, there was a copious amount of aioli on the bun. Aside from these small things, it was great. I love the disco ball and dynamic art in the restaurant. The service was great and they gave us frozen birthday shots to celebrate my friend.

Yelp
This is my second time here. The first time I was here, all my guests were underwhelmed with the flavors of the food. I loved my McMillionaire sandwich, so I had a pretty good time. But today is different. I ordered the chilaquiles and first of all, they aren't true chilaquiles and they lacked flavor. I added so much salt and pepper and still didn't finish my meal. The food on the table around me is all so elementary. The chef here, or whoever is responsible for the menu, is the issue. I won't be back. Sorry to the servers and staff who work here because the drinks are good and my server today was great too. She handled our group of 12 with ease.... But this food sucks. Shut this place down and open a sandwich window that serves McMillionaire's only. That's all.

Yelp
I heard great things about this spot so I gathered a few friends for a last minute brunch. I was shocked to get a table last minute abut was not too surprised when we arrived because the dining room is huge. The entire place is open concept with a huge bar area. Parking wasn't too terrible for a somewhat busy area. Service was a little slow and the menu was disappointing. Nothing too creative and ala carte items are pricey for what you get. I would try Merriment Social again but for dinner. Maybe their brunch is new and they're still working out the kinks?

Yelp
I was looking for something a little different for brunch and remembered Merriment is here. I was solo and took my chance without a reservation on a Sunday but there was space at the bar. Overall it was not too crowded and the bar neighbors were friendly. The restaurant is plenty spacious. I was pleased to see a few nonalcoholic beverages on the menu. I had an Afternoon Delight which was a refreshing cucumber drink. I was looking at a few of the entrees and decided on the spinach and artichoke toad in the hole just because it sounded neat. It's like a savory pastry topped with an egg and with arugula and cheddar butter on the side. It was definitely delicious and different. The couple sitting next to me for regulars and the guy called it the "best brunch thing ever" and the server said they had tried to rotate it off the menu but put it back by popular demand. There were also breakfast burritos and other promising-looking dishes on the brunch menu. The staff was nice and helpful. The restrooms were a little run-down the way you see at businesses that have been around awhile, but they were well-stocked enough. The overall atmosphere would be good for a group outing or to watch a game.

Yelp
Loved loved loved the ambiance! Super cool spot with great brunch food and lovely atmosphere. Service was nice and fun and affordable food. Highly recommended place in Milwaukee.

Yelp
I made a Sunday brunch reservation, which isn't the norm for similar restaurants in the area. I was in town for a wedding and appreciated being able to catch up with an old friend, eat good food, and drink a cocktail instead of waiting in a long line!

Yelp
Highlights/Lowlights 1. Indoor and Outdoor Dining 2. Reservations Accepted 3. Limited Gluten-Free Brunch Options We came to Merriment Social for Sunday brunch with a party of 6. We had a reservation and I did think it was necessary as the place was fairly full. We were seated at a table outside on their side patio which was nice and shady. I love the inside of Merriment as well, they have a nice bar area and garage doors that they open up in the summer. Our server was super friendly and since we all ordered cold brews he managed to get a few carafes for us (I don't even think this was on the menu but he made it happen!). We ordered the queso and some mimosas to start. The queso was great, warm, and creamy! I love queso so this was fun to have as a brunch starter. The rest of the brunch menu largely consists of breakfast tacos served on flour tortillas, so gluten-friendly options are fairly limited. I landed on an avocado bowl and added some bacon. This was basically an extra avocado-y salad. It was fine, but nothing I am rushing to go back and eat! I've been to Merriment a few times and I feel like I almost always come away with the same opinion, great ambiance, awesome service but very average food. I of course, will probably be back again as this place is easy to snag a reservation and almost everyone can find something they want to eat on the menu.

Yelp
If you're going to name a signature burger after your establishment it should be as good as the one I had here. The Merriment Burger was Outstanding! The service complimented the exceptional food. A++

Yelp
I haven't been in a while but was tempted to try again after some really delicious looking Instagram clips of their food menu lately. I tried the French Dip and my husband had the Patty Melt. The French Dip was absolutely phenomenal and the fries are super crispy. The only thing that could have made my meal better were dipping sauce options outside of ketchup. Service at the bar was really good as well. I will definitely come back more often!
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Great brunch place. They were accommodating for some of the Changes as we made I had the crab omelet a definite must try! Some had the fried chicken and waffle and the burger all were really good.
google avatar

Yelp
I seek out places that are both highly-rated by my fellow Yelpers but also offer reservations; there's nothing worse than trying to time out your day because you have an event to attend and either scrambling to make it work or having tons of open time because the meal took way less time than you thought. We visited Merriment Social before seeing the Shen Yun show at the Miller Theatre and overall it was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the brunch options that were available and appreciated the mix of breakfast and lunch choices on the menu. Service was a bit slow, but we still had plenty of time to get to our event, and parking in the area was fairly easy to find. The restaurant has changed quite a bit since the last time I was there--when it was Moct, which always had more of a bar feel to it--and the plentiful plants added nicely to the overall décor. You could do far worse for Sunday in Brunch in Milwaukee than Merriment Social.
google avatar

Maggie B.

Yelp
This place is great for large parties. They had ample space and were very accommodating! They did give us a round of little slushee shots which was fun and thoughtful. For the summer months they keep their doors and large windows open, which is fun but also so hot. On an 80 degree day this place gets super hot. No AC! The portions were also surprisingly small for the price. While the food was good, it wasn't anything special. Plus a lot of us left hungry after an $18 meal not including drinks. I might try again for dinner, but I think there are other brunch spots in Milwaukee that are worth your time and money. Plus have AC!

Yelp
Big crowd for the Yelp Elite Week Drybar event at Falklandia . Extremely hot night, for an outdoor event - At the air scene to circulate and there were options to sit inside. I am not a beer drinker, but my husband and is and he was my plus one. The band played some cover songs and they were pretty good, kind of funny too. Long line for beer and by the time we got to the bar, only half an hour after they were open they were out of one of the three and the metal cups. Oh well. My husband was not a fan of either of the Bears sadly, but they did offer us water inside. Long delay for the pizza, when it finally came out about halfway through the event - however it was very tasty (good crust!)

Yelp
Some of the most interesting brunch meets lunch apps. Think sausage potsticks, cheese curd fondue toast! Plus, a delicious cocktail menu is always a win in my book. We went when it was a little chilly out, but in the summer I can imagine all three of the huge garage doors wide open to create the ultimate indoor-outdoor patio. We had a graduation brunch celebration here last weekend, and the host was so accommodating to us. We had brought our own decorations and balloons, and they let us in a little before our reservation to set up. Such nice workers, and the food is great! Would totally recommend for any special occasion.

Yelp
This was our first at Merriment Social and we will be back! We came for the Chimichanga which we saw advertised on Instagram, and boy are we glad we did!! It was the perfect hearty breakfast item packed with flavor and leaving you licking the sauce off your fingers It's thick so was perfect to split with my boyfriend and paired great with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast for a sweet touch! The creamy cinnamon butter completed the French toast! Our service was quick and so friendly and we loved the open concept with the natural light! Can't wait to come back for dinner some time to try other menu items (or maybe for brunch because we'll be dreaming about that Chimichanga).

Yelp
Great brunch spot! My partner and I stopped in on our way back home to Chicago and had a wonderful time. The food isn't spectacular but it's pretty good. They did have a frozen Paloma that was absolutely delicious. I would definitely check it out again.

Yelp
Stopped in unexpectedly on a Friday night with a couple of family members. They were pretty busy so we had to wait about 30-45, I would recommend to make a reservation. We decided to wait around since we knew it was going to be hard to eat anywhere in the area. Hostess wasn't very helpful, after waiting more than 45 minutes we finally asked the hostess if she was able to accommodate us by the bar until we got a table. Ordered a few drinks by the bar while waiting for a table. We finally got a table and the server was great super friendly and attentive. Ordered the Monte Cristo egg rolls for an appetizer and it was so savory and delicious I would go back just for this! Everyone enjoyed them. I ordered a new sandwich that had just been added to the menu (don't remember the name of it) it was okay I was a little disappointed the bread got soggy from the sauce so I did not enjoy it as much as I wanted to.

Yelp
Went to a fun wedding celebration at this venue on a beautiful September evening. They had the garage doors open. Space works well for party--cocktails and dancing in the front, tables for dining in front, food buffet in back, photo. Booth on balcony. Food was good, drinks were good. Nice 3rd Ward vibe. Staff were attentive, food refreshed often. Good event space!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts with honey and pecans with pie crust crumbs!! It's an absolute 10!!!!!!
google avatar

Vanetta G.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try them for a while and finally did it. I'm glad I did. The fries: crispy, well seasoned, and bountiful. The havana crunchwrap: missing the crunchy tostada I love, but still delicious. I really enjoyed the carnitas and the tangy mojo dipping sauce. I am absolutely replacing the homemade ones I make with carnitas and mojo instead of taco sauce. Thanks, guys! Drink: the worst case Ontario was all that I needed it to be. I took a star away, because it was a little pricey for my taste. My tastes will return to this fine establishment, though.

Yelp
Love this place! The vibes are immaculate and the staff is so friendly! I came here with friends for brunch and we had an extremely good time! Bottomless mimosas were awesome and such a good deal! Will be returning for bottomless here again for sure
google avatar

Caleb S.

Yelp
What a BLAST! I was looking for a brunch place while visiting Milwaukee, and this was the perfect find! The bottomless mimosas were a great way to start Saturday brunch. We followed them up with a breakfast burrito and an avocado toast for entrees. Both were delicious and big enough to fill me up! The decor of the place is really fun, and it creates a very exciting environment. We sat at the bar, but I felt totally comfortable with our bartender/waiter. She was so attentive and sweet and replete with delicious recommendations!

Yelp
I stumbled across this restaurant on instagram. Their sandwiches made my mouth water and I had to try it on my next trip to MKE I got the French dip which was delightful! The meat was tender and flavorful. Definitely cheesy and gooey. The chips they put on top are slightly soggy by the time they got to me, but dang this sandwich was still delicious! My boyfriend ordered the cream city burger. Wow! I tried 2 bites and I wish I could have had more. He devoured it! It's messy in the best way. I'd order this during my next visit. The patties were crispy on the edges and had great flavor. The sauces brought it all together. Definitely not one to miss. While the main dishes were both superb, the fries on the side were definitely nothing to write home about. Yes, they were crispy as several others have said in their reviews, but they were standard. The impression I get from this restaurant is that they like to make things in house. Their sandwiches are unique and something I can't get elsewhere. The fries were just meh and I can't say much about the garlic aioli that I ordered with them. If there was garlic in it then it misses both of us. For a restaurant that seems to pride themselves on being different and doing it themselves, they should really try for hand cut fries. It's a picky knock, but it really did stand out against the shining stars on the plate. Service was excellent. We were both surprised at the speed at which our food was brought out and the attentiveness of the wait staff. Several different people stopped by to check on us; not just our waiter. Well done! Bottom Line: Yes I'd go back and yes I would recommend it. Sometimes Instagram and TikTok places can be overrated but this one is not!

Yelp
My brother in-law and I came here before a concert at the BMO Pavilion. It was the hottest day of the year, so it wasn't terribly surprising that the taco truck I had planned on showing off closed for the day. So after a few beers at Broken Bat, we came here for what turned out to be some exceptional burgers. The "Bestseller" is a fancy take on the Big Mac that hit me right in the nostalgia gland (never went to med school) but was certainly of elevated quality. The bar was stocked with a wide variety of goodies but my more primitive instincts won out and the glass bottle high lifes were extra cold and almost made me think I was hydrating. The bartender was attentive and friendly from the moment we bellied up.

Yelp
Solid spot for brunch! A couple of friends and I had brunch here on a Saturday morning, and got a table no problem without a reservation. We started with cold brews and the fried brussel sprouts to share, and then for my main meal had the burrito. So good and the perfect amount of food! I would definitely get the burrito again. We also shared cinnamon rolls for "dessert" after our meal. The restaurant itself is a cool space, and I could totally picture an event or wedding reception there!
google avatar

George L.

Yelp
I'm not sure if the staff was busy the day I came or if they just didn't enjoy my presence. That's always a big thing for me, respect and hospitality. I don't think I'll be coming back, but I do think it's a place worth visiting.

Yelp
I have been coming to Merriment Social since it first opened and honestly it just keeps getting better. We stopped in for lunch on a whim yesterday and walked in to find quite a few large groups of brunch goers and surely thought service would be slow but we're met with the exact opposite. We were seated immediately and our appetizers came almost as fast as we sat. As a parent, speed of service is incredibly important so THANK YOU! Our server Emily was literally walking sunshine and was not only super kind but offered great recommendations and insights into the food itself. My favorite item on the menu are the Brussels sprouts. When I first read "pie crust, pecans, honey, and crème fraiche" I was expecting a gooey too sweet mess and it was the opposite- they were DELICIOUS. I have never tasted Brussels sprouts this good in my LIFE. I literally woke up thinking about them. The French fries were perfectly crispy yet soft. My waffle parfait was also better than I expected! The berries were FRESH and I feel like that's rare these days. Breakfast tacos were very flavorful! All in all we left super full and even more happy! The ambiance was lively but fresh. The atmosphere itself inside was a happy one and the wait staff all seemed in good spirits which always helps the patrons feel comfortable. Also they had a baby changing station in the women's AND men's bathroom- that's huge for parents!! Thank you Merriment!

Yelp
Merriment Social has become one of our go-to restaurants when visiting Milwaukee! We've always loved their food, drink, service, and ambiance! But we've been very thankful for their care and safety during this time of COVID-19! During our last visit, Merriment Social has recently reopened with appropriately social-distanced outdoor seating! We got a seat outside under the trees and it was GORGEOUS! Service was quick and friendly. I started with the deliciously junipery gin and tonic and my spouse enjoyed beer from the delightful beer list! I capped off the end of my meal with the Old Fashioned. Perfect! We each got entrees that we're divine: chicken sandwich and chicken with biscuits! We've also tried almost all of their burgers, cheese curds, and several other appetizers. Never once have we been disappointed in flavor, quantity, or price! And since we've been so many times, that really is saying something! You can't go wrong! But, I have to make a special shout-out to the Avocado Bowl because it is perhaps my favorite salad EVER! The perfect combo of avocado, grilled broccoli, fresh greens, crispy rice, and the perfect vinaigrette dressing come together in the most delightful flavor experience ever! It is SO GOOD you forget that you are eating something healthy. This bowl will keep me coming back more and more...so please never take it off the menu! Thanks again for another wonderful, and safe, dining experience, Merriment Social! We'll see you next time!

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place for a Saturday brunch. Neat ambiance and decorations and we loved their ability to open various garage doors for a nice open-air experience without having to be outside where wind, hot sun, etc, can sometimes diminish the fun of being seated outdoors. I wish I had more details on each entree we ordered, but all four of us enjoyed what we got and our waitress was attentive and helpful. I've recently begun to like biscuits and gravy for breakfast and did feel, though, that the gravy here could have had a bit more spice to it; it was fairly bland. I wouldn't build watching a big sporting event around going here but they do have two sizable TVs at the bar facing out to the main dining area so you could at least catch a view of some possible event if it was on while you happened to be here. Overall I'd definitely seek this place out if/when we come back to MKE.

Yelp
Man, this place, incredible. Service, check. Food, check. Atmosphere, double check. These guys get it. Hands down to our man Alex. Double up on his enthusiasm and attention to detail because he is tuned in like Tiger on a Sunday. It's not USPS because this place always delivers regardless of the day. Alex tribek? Nah, alex from merriment social. He woke up today and said look at me , I'm the captain now.

Yelp
Have a large group needing a place to eat? Then this is the spot for you! Merriment has an amazing ambiance with plenty of space for small and large groups. They have an amazing bar and a large range in their menu. Special shout out to Ron our server. I really love their Brussels sprouts! Yum! I ordered the avocado bowl salad with chicken. I wish I had asked for the dressing on the side as it was very heavily doused in it and I recommend asking for the chicken to be cooked a bit longer than they normally do. I really, great vibes. Can't wait to stop by in summer with the garage doors open. Also, north south is close by for fun games before and after dinner!

Yelp
This is a nice place to meet friends for dinner and drinks while catching a game on tv. Our server was attentive and patient with us while we looked over the menu!

Yelp
When here for the first time for a friend's 40th bday celebration, the food was good and staff very accommodating and friendly. We had a spread compromised of breakfast food; not to mention the decor is very cute! I will definitely be going back.
