Mes

The evening started well as we were greeted immediately when we arrived and the menu was explained to us. We had the five course meal with the Early Bird app and added a wine pairing package too. After the first course the staff forgot to bring the wine that was supposed to be paired with the food and by the time we reminded them, the third course was served. The food was good but the service staff were overwhelmed by the amount of customers. Perhaps either hire more staff or do not slam the booking just to fill the restaurant up. Overall a good evening as it was filled with conversations but the service took a long time as there were only two visible servers.

Cozy restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. Nicely and comfortably furnished. The food was tasty and well presented, and consisted of 5 smaller but tasty dishes. The waiters were nice and served the dishes with care and good descriptions. The less positive aspect of the experience was the waiting time. 25 minutes passed before the waiter approached us to ask what we wanted to drink. The waiter apologized that they were busy and that they were understaffed. The acoustics were also a problem, we often had to stick our heads close together in order to carry out a conversation. The restaurant should get the staffing and the acoustics under control, because that could raise the rating to 5 stars.

Visited in March 2024. Tried the five course tasting menu to which we added the snacks. The food was of good quality and presented nicely. Service was friendly. The price was also rather okay, especially because we used an earlybird special offer. The venue is rather small and looks nice, the tables are a bit more spacious than in other similar restaurants. Overall, Mes was a pleasant place to visit. The one thing I would have liked was to have a larger drink selection (besides wines).

Mes Restaurant in Copenhagen is an absolute gem! The exquisite fusion of flavors in their dishes left me delighted. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff made for an unforgettable dining experience. Can't wait to return for more culinary delights! 🍽️👌

Lunch at MES - 3 dishes - dishes have a nice presentation - but portions are microscopic - we have selected the fish menu, the main dish consisted of very very small piece of fish - cannot be more than 30 grams - a scoop of puree and half an onion. I have never experienced such a small main dish in any restaurant ever. This did not leave with a good experience.

The food was crazy good and service was more then perfect. We had a wonderful evening here. We both had the vegetarian five course menu and it really did not disappoint. Knowing that we had high expectations to begin with this was really good. Things the restaurant could have a look into are the acoustics. Visitors in the restaurant almost have to shout to one another because of the lack of sound absorbing materials. For us this ‘lack of’ made the tiny restaurant feel a bit to crowded. Other than that, and the heavy pricing, we could not be more happier to have been able to visit Mes!

Great restaurant! We went to the restaurant last October. I made a reservation for dinner online which was easy and quick. We had to wait a little before entry although we were on time. The five course meal was delicious and the wine (Riesling) was great, too. Service was great, too. Considering all the above and the quality the price was really good. No complaints! Great place for scandinavian cuisine!

Absolutely delicious food. Everything was amazing. The location is a bit small, crowded and noisy. It's a bit pricey but I would say it's justified by the top quality of the food. I recommend trying the tasting menu
