LOVE this place. Always find more good stuff here and end up taking lots of great items home. Never disappoints. The booths are filled with the best people and there's even terrific food (the breakfasts are delicious) and there's usually a dude or gal entertaining with live music. Super fun for the whole family. Good even in Summer but more vendors in Winter. You gotta check this place out!

WOW! I haven't been to a larger swap meet that I remember. This event is very well organized and very clean. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the vendors are polite. The people shopping seemed happy too! It's all around a great experience.

My wife & I went to the Mesa Market Place Swap Meet to purchase some Mexican Metal Art & Pottery (flowers, cactus, & Talavara pottery). We shopped at Oscar Imports (booth A-56) Manny's Pottery (booths B-163 to B-169) Claudia's Imports (booths B-43 to B-47), and Arte Tlaxcalteca (booths B-110 to B-112). We found many beautiful pieces at very reasonable prices. We'll definitely be going back for any additional pieces.

Google
Fantastic MEET - Something for everyone in the family. I felt safe the entire 2 hours walking around. Booths are covered, and while this creates a stuffy closed-in vibe, it worked to keep the bulk of heat OUT and prevented sunburns. Small Food Court + Dried/sugared fruits, Kettle Corn, Sesame/Cashew Stick vendors.

Google
I really enjoy this semi open air swap meet! Lots of vendors are returning for the season but it’s not crowded yet. My favorites are the jewelry, hats, purses, clothing, foods, metal art, and gadgets. Still a bit warm but they open very early when it’s still cool. Snack bar prices are reasonable for the 2 Egg Omelette with either ham or sausage. Nice ambience in the dining area with live music. Restrooms are well stocked and very clean. Parking is plentiful if you don’t mind walking.

Jason Kelley

Google
Great place for a variety of wares. Go as early as possible as it begins to warm up. They do their best with air circulation and swamp cooler fans, but it is not air conditioned. Summer months the selection is less as the seasonal booths close, but still worth checking out. There are food courts but I have not eaten there. Pet friendly, I've brought my dog and seen several others there.

Google
Interesting collection of stores, and we enjoyed browsing through for an hour or so. Some stores were way overpriced, especially for basic board and card games that you can buy new at Walmart for half the price. Overall, however, it's worth a visit!

Yelp
We had the pleasure of visiting the Mesa Market Place Swap meet. No entrance fee, ample parking, the swap meet is well organized, clean with roof top covering. There's a food court with live entertainment. Many vendors selling all sorts of items, specialty items and food as well. The vendors were all very friendly and their prices are reasonable. This is even a good place to just get some steps in, to browse around, get a snack or a drink even maybe get something if it catches your eyes. We bought some items from different vendors. We checked out Sergio K Jewelry Design he had beautiful jewelry - Arizona Four Peaks Amethyst Jewelry and many more. We got to meet Sergio he was a polite and kind person. He mentioned he had one more week at the booth and will be back October 2025. Also bought an outfit that was one of a kind and super cute at the You Look Fabulous Boutique. All the items here were super cute! If you're in the area stop by they are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only from 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Yelp
First time. Easy free parking and entry. Reasonable food and drink prices and as expected, mediocre comfort food. Spent some time browsing various vendors. If you like metal yard art, you'll be in heaven. Most clothing catered to the senior women's outdated crowd. Just not my style. Just one decent women's clothing vendor. Large selection @ dept. store prices. Very friendly folks and helpful sales people. We did buy a free-standing yard flag stand from a very nice lady. Also found a few Padres trinkets here. Overall had a good time but for us this was a one-time deal. Recommend only if you've already done the much more fun activities in the area.

Yelp
3/1/2025 Parking 5/5 There is never a problem finding a parking space here. Atmosphere 5/5 My score is for open markets. The Mesa Market Place can't be beat! Service 5/5 Purchased lunch and bicycle handle bar accessories for my phone and water bottle from two different vendors and scored! People's seem friendlier in an outdoor open Market. Great day for the outdoors and under roof in the shade.

Yelp
I love going to this flea market! I always find what I'm looking for and after walking through the market I end up finding items that are inexpensive and useful! The food in the food court is really good and the service was really fast! I really recommend this flea market and you may want to plan to spend a few hours looking around, there's lots to see!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice place to roam around! Interesting variety of vendors. Lots to see. Lots of parking. Benches throughout to sit and rest. Handicap accessible. Clean bathrooms.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
The swap meet is an interesting and busy place on a Sunday! There's a lot of people and navigating down the aisles can be a challenge but if you want a selection of items to choose from, this is the place! They have tons of Tshirt/clothing booths, booths selling golf carts or epoxy floors, Tupperware, and even a couple of booths selling socks exclusively. It's nice that it's free!

Yelp
Stopped by on Saturday and the parking lot was pretty full. Parking did take a while but that was expected. Upon entering, we quickly noticed how big this place was. Most areas were empty and you had enough space to walk thru and in other areas you were shoulder to shoulder with other people. The selection of vendors was pretty boring. A lot of stuff that was being sold was outdated and random.. kind of reminded me of stuff that you see at a yard sale. Most of the people shopping and selling, were of an older crowd. Most vendors weren't friendly and looked bored themselves. We walked down a few aisles and decided we were just wasting our time and we were to leave. One of the booths did catch my eye though, and I ended up buying my dog a cute Christmas sweater. Overall, I would pass on this place. The pro? Its shaded.

Yelp
2 hour drive from home, which I don't mind since I love the AZ landscape but what a disappointment. This place is for tourists. So much of the merchandise is repeated in booth after booth. Not even a variety of food for lunch.
google avatar

Susie A.

Yelp
If you like to shop Mesa is a mecca... You name it they got it. I loved the local shop that had little cactus gardens and handmade clay pottery. Too bad I couldn't take them back to MN on the plane. There was also food and live music. It is in tents outside so dress accordingly. It was cold when we went!
google avatar

Heather J.

Yelp
So many varieties of things to purchase. Especially when you live in an RV this is a must stop every time we pass through.
google avatar

Kelly B.

Yelp
My parents and aunt took me out here. It's huge!!!! Set up very nicely. Lots of local venders. So many options. I couldn't even tell you how many stalls there were but well over 100. I will say don't plan to have lunch here. Buy food from the vendors that have various home made things but there is only a hot dog stand besides that. I thought there would be food trucks but that is not the case. Not gonna complain because I bought popcorn and salsa made local so I was happy.

Joy B.

Yelp
First time here there is so much to see etc.. it can get a little over whelming. We spent about 4-1/2 hours shopping then we had lunch and listened to the music before we headed out to go back home. I will definitely be back. This is a great place and I can highly recommend everyone to go.
google avatar

Richard C.

Yelp
During this season go early. They do their best to cool it down and it is bearable, but if you go in the heat of the season don't think you going to get all the way through it.. there is a lot to see and some very nice people. Check it out and enjoy!
google avatar

Marisa G.

Yelp
Awesome flee market, always a must when in Mesa. Also love that they have music and beer for your shopping enjoyment.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything you can imagine can be found here. My first time attending was on Black Friday & surprisingly it wasn't that crowded! It was the perfect day to browse and shop. Can't wait to go again!
google avatar

Yelp
Mesa market I loved, loved, loved this market. Everyone that worked there were so pleasant. You don't find that often anymore. People want to get out, people want to live, and to be able to support their families. This market is only open on the weekend but, I think it was worth the drive and I loved the things that I purchased. Someday when I buy a house I know the places I will be going back to purchase items, and this is one of those places. I WOULD highly recommend!

Yelp
"Let's FLEA!" was the first thing out of my grandma's mouth when entered the expansive space that is Mesa Marketplace! Anyone who visits my grandparents have come here and have all said good things - and now I know why! FIRST - the space is MASSIVE! 4 large tents in the shape of a square makes up the HUGE outdoor covered marketplace. The space allows for various vendors to set up shop throughout, intertwined with live music, food, booze and more! While it may seem overwhelming at first, there is literally something for everyone! The booths house a wide variety of goods everything from homemade soaps, crafts, TONS of jewelry, outdoor garden items, clothing and more! SECOND - pricing ranges from booth to booth, with the option to haggle prices! While I didn't end up doing that, I did see a number of others negotiating and bidding each other out! Overall, pricing for items is very reasonable and a great way to support local. THIRD - people watching here is priceless! Being that the space has room for thousands, it's fun to sit and see the variety of people coming and going throughout! While my grandparents opted for us to have lunch here - I'll advise to skip it. The process is terribly run (literally order at one counter, pick up at the next, pay at the next - and you can't pay until your entire order is ready, leaving the line longer than it needs to be), the service was average (literally was yelled at by both the order taker and cashier) , and the food tasted stale/old. We all ended up with burgers and fries, and in attempting to take a bite, my entire bun crumbled to my hand in a messy glob. Awkward. Not to mention everything is Ala carte pricing, which can add up fast. BOO. When in Mesa again, I'd easily venture back to shop...minus the lunch.

Yelp
The GOOD: Lots of variety. Live music. Concession stands. SHADE!!! Lots of parking. Clean bathrooms. Decent width aisles. The NEUTRAL: Prices are just prices. Neither high nor low. Some places will haggle while some post signs that they will not. The 'REASON FOR ONLY 3 STARS': All advertising states the swap meet closes at 4pm. So that would infer that the swap meet is OPEN until 4. If a bank posts hours of 9am - 6pm one can reasonably expect to show up at 5:30pm and be able to take care of business. But not at the Mesa Swap Meet! A couple of weeks ago I made the trek out there and arrived around 2:30 PM on a Friday - only to find that many shops were already starting to shut down. By 3 PM more than half of the available shops were well into their closing process. By 3:30pm only a scattered handful of shops and the bathrooms were still open. Okay - so maybe that was just a Friday thing. So last Sunday I tried again. Although I wasn't able to get there as early as I'd hoped I still arrived more than an hour before 'closing' time. But found the same problem. Other disappointed potential customers were also venting about the duplicitous hours when a vendor spoke up and said, "Well it takes us an hour to shut down so we have to start now." SO THAT MEANS YOU DON'T CLOSE AT 4!! You LEAVE at 4 after you CLOSED at 3!! This would have been excellent customer service to know. I would not have driven all the way out there if I'd known the reality. So I'm not complaining that the swap meet closes at 3, I'm complaining that it is ADVERTISED as closing at 4. To MANAGEMENT: Please consider changing your posted and advertised hours to reflect the fact that the swap meet in all practicality shuts down by 3? Or, can you insist that your vendors actually stay open until 4 before they start shutting down? Thank you (and I hope this post saves someone from learning the hard way like I did!)!

Yelp
Perfect spot for shopping! I take my toddler for a stroll in his wagon, treat him to some ice cream, a hot dog, and chips, pack some water, and spend a delightful 30 to 45 minutes exploring the items for our future purchases. Additionally, my father-in-law recently leased ...

Yelp
Check out the kid a round booth on Row C The concept is awesome. Everything in the booth is for kids. Brand New Clothing at great low prices. Just google the brand of any new item and this booth is lower. The cool thing about this booth is that there is high quality used clothing too! So, you can mix and match Brand New with gently used and get bang for your bucks. The workers went out of their way to entertain the kids while I shopped.

Yelp
So much pottery!! It goes on and on. Bought these beautiful pots for outside. I wish I had found a 3rd one.
google avatar

Nate C.

Yelp
Lots of options of various goods. Has some nice art and metal signs and pots. Very unique with fair prices. No cost to go and food as well, very good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This places has a lot of cool venders. They have their year round vendors on the right when you come in and seasonal vendors when you come in and turn left . One place you should visit is Ms. Joy's booth. It on the left side for seasonal. She has had a booth for 5 years and her and her husband just added 2 more booths. One has jewelry, awesome bags and purses and yummy licorice!! Another awesome featured seasonal vendor is the Aloe Magic booth owned by a sweet lady who has an aloe cream that comes in two sizes!! She doesn't do social media she has a website aloeveraskincream.com. There is a season booth run by a man I believe he is Indian and he supplies goods to businesses all over Arizona!! They have golf cart purchases, suitcases, bags, clothes, food, and More!! Check out this market place

Yelp
We visited this place a couple of weeks ago around 1 PM on a Sunday. By 2 PM, the majority of the businesses were closed or wrapping up for the day. My suggestion is to go on a Friday or Saturday.

Yelp
I absolutely love the products of De'John's Candles! It is not only made with three simple ingredients with no toxins whatsoever, but made with love. Dee and John are amazing and I wish them many more years of business to come! As for Mesa Market Place Swap Meet, highly recommend o anyone looking for anything really- from the unique to the specific. It is covered, clean, and has amazing people running it.

Humberto A. S.

Yelp
This is a great place to tool around and buy stuff that you really did not know you needed (kidding). If you are a snow bird come here and walk around a weekend day. The place is huge. Lots of stuff to look at. And the price is right. Free parking, free entry. See you there

1Yelper ..

Yelp
Great variety and opportunities to get a great deal. It's easy to lose your sense of direction when walking inside. This flea market has plenty to see and do including live music and places to sit, eat, and even order a beer. Most people will haggle with you but others won't. They do have restrooms and ATMs on site. Most vendors accept plastic too. Lunch starts at 10:30am and everything closes at 4pm.
google avatar

Tawnya L.

Yelp
A bustling location with many treasures to be found! While there are many booths that are repetitious, you can basically find anything your heart desires and all at reasonable prices. It does seem like there may be shoplifting as the vendors watch you like a hawk which is a bit unsettling.
google avatar

Jessi M.

Yelp
We always love spending a day shopping at the swap meet. Lots of vendors and fun things to look at! Make sure to bring cash as some vendors and food stands are cash only. They do have ATMs, but the charge is around $3.

Brad C.

Yelp
We were so excited to go to this place we got up early so we could be there at 7:30 right when they open and we could spend some time there before it got to hot we drove 50 minutes to get there pulled in the parking lot and was all excited but we were quickly disappointed I get it that it is hot right now and it would be hard to be there all day but way more than half the booths were closed the ones that were open were prepared for the heat with swap coolers in their booths If your only going to allow 1/4 of the vendors to open it needs to be posted on the web site or if your open they are open no excuses. We planned our day to drive all the way there and what a waste of time VERY DISAPPOINTING
google avatar

Susi M.

Yelp
Visiting family here in Mesa and they recommended this swap meet. Very nice that it is covered/indoor as that helps with the heat here in Arizona. Decided to write this review especially for Kayla (sp?) who sells lots of pretty bracelets, fun stickers, and inspirational magnets, pins, etc. Walking through this swap meet with very nice vendors and interesting merch, we were unfortunately taken a bit aback by some displays of offensive signs referring to democrats and other pro-Trump nonsense. Kayla's stand caught our eye because she had a USA Pride flag predominantly displayed. We have LGBTQ family members, so feeling a little bit of support in what otherwise could be a hostile environment was such a blessing! We made sure to make a purchase from Kayla to show her the support this young lady so deserves. Let's show more support and not hate - that's way to go. Thank you, Kayla!!!
google avatar

Craig P.

Yelp
This is a great place to come support small/local businesses. It's also great for people watching and getting your steps in. The place is huge. My guess is eight football fields in total walking distance. It can get a little repetitive after a while but a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
google avatar

Jay W.

Yelp
We definitely love walking through this place. There are so many fun and unique shops to peak into. It's a perfect place to go to pick up a couple extra gifts or maybe purchase something for ourselves. Prices tend to be low on some stands and higher on others. It's a nice place to kill a few hours and see what's available. There is also a lunch counter and entertainment.

Sue Tim M.

Yelp
Food's good...seems to have the same goods every other stall. Kind of like dollar store stuff but even more shoddily made. Parking is free, though and no admission so good for an outing.
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
Tried shopping again for Thanksgiving food items and when I checked out the cashier made a big deal that if I wanted digital pricing had to load on my phone. Never take my phone into the store and other cashier's have been able to do the digital pricing for me from my phone number in the system. Getting discouraged to shop there anymore

Carol T.

Yelp
This is a must see market when you're in the Mesa area. So much southwestern decor, hats, art, clothing, novelties, and so much more . Put on your comfy shoes and get your daily walk up and down the jampacked aisles full of goodies! Fridays appear to be less busy and I'd get an early start if possible to avoid the crowds. However, we did go in the afternoon on a Saturday one time and it was manageable. There's a little area for breakfast and lunch and some places throughout the aisle ways where you can grab a snack or a beverage. You probably won't leave without buying something here!
google avatar

Lizzie B.

Yelp
Lines! Such long lines getting into and out of this place! If you are on Baseline Rd., you can watch the lines of cars driving in for hours. Lots of vendors selling a variety of items. Depending on what time of year you go, weather can be a problem since large sections are outdoors.
google avatar

Abeni D.

Yelp
I use to be okay with visiting this swap meet but my visit this weekend I can say I am DONE! Most of these vendors spoke or looked the other way as I approached there booth yet as soon as I touched something, they were on me like bees on honey! Thank you too the few of you...Avon and a cell phone accessories booth that gave a warm greeting. I came in for luggage on four wheels. While they were helpful I did have to ask one of the workers to back off with her car salesman tactics! She seemed butt hurt yet understood my point! If you are looking for presidential stuff, this is the perfect place for you! I do not buy much online but this place made me reconsider that thought! Here I come Amazon!
google avatar

Chuck D.

Yelp
Fun place to look around. Why does Yelp need a word count for a review? My comment was all that I wanted to relay.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Finally was able to check this place out and I was surprised by the enormity of it. Most of the vendors sell cheap Made In China crap; truth be told. I was really hoping to see more artisan vendors. It's a prime location to bring in more local artists; i.e. Native American art and jewelry, quality Mexican imports, foods, candle makers, honey, flowers, farm foods and flowers, photography/paintings, jewelry, carved woods, bakers, etc. If they could turn this place around, they could could make Mesa the "go-to" shopping market for both locals and tourists. Look to Portland (Oregon) Saturday Market for inspiration!
google avatar

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Years ago when my children were small I used to enjoy going here. Things have really changed or maybe not at all! A lot of the vendors here seem to be selling a lot of old dusty crap from years ago. The good booths are few and far between. So as much as I enjoy the booth with the homemade salsas, barbecue sauce and drink mixes. Or the outside furniture guy. I just don't feel it's worth the ride out there anymore. I left and went shopping elsewhere
google avatar

Grace R.

Yelp
This place is great to spend an afternoon to hunt for decorations for indoor and outdoor. There are artisan and specialty vendors from jewelry maker to western leather gear. There is no entrance fee and I liked the covered open air marketplace. It was a nice relief from the sun. The most of the for sale items are new and not much of a bargain. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because it's a good walk for 1.5 hours, if you stop and shop.

Kaitlyn M.

Yelp
security kicked me and my service dog out because she "didn't have a patch labeling she was a service dog" when there is untrained dogs that are clearly not service dogs everywhere in there an didn't say a thing to them when I told security the tasks she performs he said "it doesn't matter she needs to have a patch saying she's a service dog"
google avatar

Maritza M.

Yelp
First time visiting this place and I was very disappointed. If you are a minority shop elsewhere! Vendors were rude, snowbirds were rude, and the get out of the country shirts were enough to assure me the sick feeling in my stomach was legit and we left immediately. On a positive note the princess store has really Cute merchandise and very affordable. Sadly I'll never return to this little gem.
google avatar

Tim D.

Yelp
When visiting PHX., AZ. Take time to visit Mesa Market place swap meet. There is free entertainment in building B. There is a food court to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Wintertime all the vendors are in & open for business. You'll find a lot of different items to buy.

Tim W.

Yelp
Great place to shop and walk the market. Lots of interesting stuff to see. Prices are good.
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
A little disappointing today. I know it's getting towards the end of the season for the Mesa market Place, but the lack of the number of vendors that were open today was ridiculous. Their product was still in the stalls but they were all buttoned up. The place is supposed to be open at 7 AM but at 8 AM people were still just starting to open their stores. (Kudis to a few that WERE open)I stayed until around 930 or so and still at least 50% of the stores were closed. The vendors should be held accountable to be open for the hours that they post.I drove 25 miles each way in order to go here. I felt like I wasted my time. Note to self don't ever go towards the end of the season.

J G.

Yelp
Lots of neat little shops with a ton of uniques gifts but unfortunately the closing time is merely a suggestion and many of the shops were closing upwards of an hour early. So, if you are headed to shop, make sure to start first thing in the morning or be prepared to walk around to a bunch of closed shops. Very disappointing.

Kathy V.

Yelp
Prices were higher than expected for some items. However, there were some bargains to be found. Overall, the market was an interesting collection of a wide variety of items. Wear your walking shoes.
