MesaMar Seafood Table in Coral Gables offers an exceptional dining experience for seafood lovers. Our evening began with two beautifully crafted cocktails: the Tanqueray and the Brisa Del Mar. The Tanqueray was a crisp, classic gin cocktail, with the perfect balance of botanical notes and a refreshing twist, while the Brisa Del Mar was a tropical delight, light and fruity with just the right amount of sweetness, setting the tone for a relaxing evening.
For appetizers, we indulged in the Lobster Tacos, which were an absolute standout. The lobster was tender and flavorful, and the presentation was elegant. The combination of fresh ingredients—alongside the perfect blend of seasonings—gave each bite a burst of flavor, making it the ideal start to our meal.
Moving on to the main courses, we tried the Enchilado de Camarones and the Camarones al Ajillo. The Enchilado de Camarones was a rich and flavorful dish, featuring shrimp cooked in a robust tomato-based sauce, with just the right hint of spice to elevate the experience. The shrimp were succulent, and the sauce was perfect for dipping with the accompanying rice. The Camarones al Ajillo—garlic shrimp—was equally satisfying. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, with the garlic sauce rich, buttery, and infused with fresh herbs, giving it a classic yet memorable flavor.
The atmosphere at MesaMar was warm and inviting, with an upscale yet relaxed vibe that made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. The service was attentive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish.
