"If you’re not familiar with Puerto de Vega it is well worth a visit as it is one of the prettiest and most authentic towns along the entire Cantabrian coast. Situated in a pedestrianised section of the old quarter, this pleasantly simple restaurant run by a friendly married couple has lots of personality. Mary, the chef, who often comes out of the kitchen to talk to her guests, focuses on dishes that showcase the finest local products and which always follow traditional recipes, albeit with a modern touch. Choose between the limited à la carte, featuring dishes made for sharing, and a tasting menu that never disappoints." - Michelin Inspector

Make sure you've made online reservation! It's really worth it! Superb place in this tiny village. Loved every dish we had! Pasta with lobster in a creamy tomato sauce is wonderful. Set menu looked fantastic - maybe next time!

This place is class. Easily 10/10. Fantastic atmosphere and service, and the food and wine was excellent. Would be happy if all my meals in Asturias could be like this one!

I can’t review this lovely restaurant without commenting about the little jewel of a port, Puerta de Vaga is special, go there! The food and service was excellent. The croquettes very flavourful fish with a lovely seafood stock in the béchamel. The bacalao a la plancha was beautifully presented and a great example. Grilled scallops in the half shell looked spectacular and tasted just as good. The owner? selected the wine which was a winner. Many thanks

Everything we had here was delicious especially the scallops which were some of best I’ve ever had and great value for money. Service was very friendly and it seems authentic / favoured by locals. We ate in several restaurants along the Asturian coast and this was the best in my opinion so well worth booking lunch here if you are in the area!

The scallops, just wow. The food was amazing and the waitress super friendly. You can probably skip the palates bravas and focus on the delicious fish.
