The quality of the cutlery is very high, especially considering that the pieces are cheaper than the equivalents from the "Big Three" of Solingen. The experts aren't kidding, either, when they say that the factory edges on Messermeister knives are far superior to those of any other German blade. The US website has always offered fair prices, relatively infrequent marketing emails on opt-in, and is now my go-to site when it's time to shop for wedding presents. Nobody says no to an 8" Meridian Elite Stealth chef's knife. Further? My Meridian Elite Stealth 10" chef's knife is the most lovely piece of cutlery that I own. The edges of the spine are thoughtfully rounded and polished, so the knife callous I've developed on my right hand no longer bleeds when I cook all day. The balance is perfect, even putting my Wusthof pieces to shame, and the handle is great for people with huge honking hands like me, with rounded scales and excellent finish (no gaps between the composite scale and the tang where bacteria can create a disgusting little enclave).
