On a trip to Grand Rapids from Buffalo for a Baseball Tournament for our son, my wife noticed she had lost a stone in her wedding band. Concerned she could lose more we googled jewelers in the Grand Rapids area to have it checked/repaired. Scott and his team got us right in, repaired the ring, repaired broken prongs, tightened all the loose stones and shined it up...and all at a very reasonable price in less than 24 hours! I have a background in design, so naturally I wanted to design the wedding rings for my upcoming wedding. After describing our design ideas to a few jewelers around Grand Rapids, we were pointed to Metal Art Studio. "They work with more organic concepts" we were told. Carol and Scott have been amazing through the creation of our rings. In our initial meeting, we told them our budget and they laid out the process and told us what it would cost to fully develop our rings from scratch. We decided on a pebble concept after seeing a ring that Scott, who is the main jeweler and owner, had created for retail sale. After getting our initial design drawings, he cleaned them up and drew options to scale for our review. We chose an option, suggested minor revisions and then finalized the design. We were even able to select which diamonds we wanted through their supplier's online diamond portal. After we made down payments, Carol and Amy, who handle the customer service side of Metal Art, gave us a timeline of 6 to 8 weeks. They not only delivered on time well ahead of our wedding, but my fiancé's ring was completed under budget! 👍🏻🤑 Now I can't wait to see my ring!

I had a ring of my great grandmother’s, a gift to her from a great aunt in the 1970s. The ring was not my style. I knew I wanted a pair of earrings for myself and a pair for my sister as a gift. I worked with Madeline and had a really lovely experience. I had an idea in mind for my pair and Madeline worked with me to create the perfect pair for me. She and I worked in the fit a bit and they look beautiful. For my sister’s pair I was unsure what I wanted but we looked around the studio and came up with a lovely pair that I am sure my sister will love this Christmas. I highly recommend this studio and will be using them again for future designs.

A vacuum ate a very delicate gold chain with a thin, delicate gold pendant. The chain was broken in two places, and the pendant was mangled. When we lived out of state, we took it to a few other jewelers, who refused to even attempt to fix it. Metal Art Studio fixed it. When I’m wearing it, the necklace looks new, and almost looks like it used to (a very tiny diamond was reattached to a different spot on the necklace than it had been prior, but it also looks good where they attached it). I’m so impressed. Truly masterful work

My wedding band set was made here. I took it in because a diamond fell out of the middle channel set. When they sold the ring their selling point was the durability of the channel set. I’ve had the ring for 6 years so they no longer guarantee their mount and wanted to charge me for the diamond and repair. I was told their jewelry is like a car and the wear and tear is my responsibility and I could have damaged it by hitting it on the washing machine! WOW! This is bad business in my opinion.

I've worked with Scott and Carol on several custom jewelry pieces over the years--they are wonderful to work with and make the journey so much fun. Each piece they've created is a show stopper, so unique and custom. This time was especially special because it was my wedding ring. They beautifully incorporated the white gold from my late father’s ring, making it even more meaningful. Thank you for your incredible craftsmanship and for creating a piece I will cherish forever.

Metal Art Studio worked with my fiancé, Brett, and me to find the perfect fit for our budget and style when we went in to shop for rings initially. Brett said he had a wonderful discussion when he went to order the ring and they made decision-making so easy! I recently took the ring in to be resized slightly on the Friday before Labor Day Weekend, and it was ready to pick up the following Tuesday in the early afternoon after the holiday! They even did it free of charge. They provided a really great experience, as well as art that is beautifully made. I would recommend their expertise to anyone.

Called a week before my wedding needing a prong moved on my engagement ring as I noticed it had shifted. Sent pictures through email and they said they could do it no problem! Took it in and they fixed it in under 5 minutes and many other jewelry shops were booking 2-3 weeks out for repairs which I did not have time to wait! They were SO awesome and helpful! Really appreciate their work!!

Metal Art Studio created a beautiful white gold ring for my wife for our anniversary. They worked with my budget and spent the time to create a fantastic work of art. They completed this within 6 days of ordering. My 11 and 12 year old daughters were along to help pick out the ring, and they even got an education on jewelry making and jewels.
