"For a taste of India and Nepal, head to Methi at the Georgia Crossing shopping center (former site of the beloved seafood restaurant, The Anchor Inn). Start with Nepalese staples like lamb sekuwa — made of marinated, boneless bits of meat — or momo (dumplings) stuffed with chicken. Then, finish with Indian sweets like gulab jamun (fried milk balls served in a honey and rose water syrup) and mango kulfi (ice cream flavored with mango and cardamom)." - Tim Ebner

Google
The experience was quite disappointing. I ordered their Biryani, but the dish served looked more like a basic fried rice. The dish was bland and it seemed like no effort made to incorporate the requested spice level.

Google
Ordered Butter chicken today, found myself displeased with the way it was undercooked. I called the restaurant to sort it out in a private matter but was met with denial and excuses instead of compromise. This is my first ever bad review anywhere and the only reason I’m writing it is because of the way I was responded to.

Google
Not the greatest. They don’t follow directions. Salad didn’t have dressing. Rice is flavorless. I asked for a nan with cheese and got a regular instead.

Google
I have been eating here for years. I always order the same food Chicken Vindaloo and Vegetable Samosas with the extra green chutney. You can't go wrong eating at this restaurant the chefs put much love into their cooking and the food is always perfect!

Google
We ordered delivery and the grubhub driver apparently picked it up and then went AWOL. We called Mehdi to investigate and they actually made us a second batch of food and sent it to us to make up for the problem. A+ service.

Google
Taste was just edible. Tandoori chicken was little salty for me. No stomachache though the restaurant seems not clean ☺️.

Google
Have been ordering from here for more than 5 years and I have enjoyed the samosa chaat, paneer makhani, and basically anything I have ordered. The staff and owner are very nice.

Google
This is the worst Indian food I ever ate food has absolutely no taste and seems like they’re not even cooking any type of fresh food. It was frozen food and then it was reheated and had absolutely no taste. I would not recommend to anyone

Yelp
NOTE: I have so far only ordered delivery from here so I can't comment on the location or service. Portions sizes and prices are about average but food texture and flavor are good quality and consistent. We've ordered from here about 10x now and built up some reliable go-to dishes including the Aloo Gobhi and Channa Masalla. Roti and Garlic Naan are also great.

Karen M.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised!!! Great food and good value. Nice portion size! We called our order in and it was delivered in a timely manner!Great taste!!

Yelp
Awesome take out Indian spot! Love. Always delicious! Great selection, too. Often go to Wheaton with my boyfriend and this is our go-to spot!

Yelp
Flavorful/Small Portions! First time tried "Methi" (9/17/22) via UberEats Delivery. Got a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal for "Chicken Curry." I ordered the "Chicken Curry ", "Mango Lassi" & "Rice Pudding." My meal arrival: chicken curry/rice still warm. Well packaged. The chicken curry had a good flavor. Now why mediocre rating... The chicken curry-watery texture & mango lassi watery too. I prefer a creamy lassi. The rice pudding watery yes! The portions also small. Perhaps dining @the restaurant the meal will tasted better? See Photos!

Yelp
Methi is a great affordable Indian place with the perfect amount of spice. My wife and I ordered on UberEats last month and got a BOGO of the Rajma (a kidney bean dish), as well as a Salmon Curry, a Goat Biryani, and a Lamb Roganjosh. We had plenty of leftovers for the next day or two and will certainly order again.

Monica K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food from Methi! The goat curry and lamb curry were excellent! We ordered the medium spice level and it was perfect for me. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice, so I would suggest going with the spicy option if you enjoy more of a kick. We also got the lamb kabob which was deliciously grilled! I tried the vegetable samosas as well. They were not the best I have ever had, but were okay. The two dipping sauces were great! All and all a solid spot and the man who was working the night we stopped in was so helpful as we debated on what to eat while combing through the menu. We will be back!

Jasmine A.

Yelp
The food is so flavorful and delicious. Very tasty and a quick and cheap eat! The service is very fast and short, no frills. They know they make good food.

Geoff P.

Yelp
Rapid delivery and reliably good food. While we usually order the same thing, we should try something new here.

Yelp
I always order my favorite Indian dish, butter chicken from this restaurant and have been mostly pleased in the past. Unlike other places, their butter chicken is a little on the sweeter side which I don't mind and actually prefer instead of too spicy. The butter chicken is less expensive than other places as well but the portion size seems much smaller so there won't be any leftovers. My last visit will truly be my last visit because the chicken tasted old and as if I were eating leftovers for some reason and when I got down to one of my last bites, I pulled out a hair that did not come from my own head along with my bite of chicken. I absolutely understand that this happens sometimes but that along with what I'd consider to be declined quality and tiny portion doesn't make the cheaper price worth it to me.

A. M.

Yelp
I got the boneless chicken kabob and mango lassi. The boneless chicken kabob was a bit dry, not spicy (which i like) but it seems lacking in some flavor. In all, the chicken was not juicy but still delicious. The mango lassi tastes good but it kind of looks too unnaturally orange like it has been colored. I do recommend getting their butter chicken and pakoras as those really shine in this restaurant.

Yelp
This small, unimpressive-looking eatery in Wheaton, right next door to the excellent Pollo Rico, will grab you by your nose the moment you walk in the door with the wonderful smells of really good Indian cooking. And it just gets better from there! The food was as good as the scents. One of us ordered Aloo Gobi with onion kulcha; one, Aloo Matar and Puri, and we both got raita. (We'd have ordered mango lassi, too, if we'd noticed it on the menu :) Chef was happy to fine-tune the heat or lack of heat to our different specifications; and everything was delicious! We were on our way home and in a hurry, so got carry-out; otherwise, we'd have stayed to enjoy the Happy Hour selection of beer, wine, and cocktails--at only $3, $1, and $4 respectively. Next time, Chef has promised to help us two South Indian food aficionados to choose and order Nepalese entrees. So, whether you're carnivore, vegetarian, or vegan, I believe you're bound to find dishes you'll love at Methi Cuisine.

Yelp
Ordered from here several times via UberEats. For us, it's a go-to, solid Indian spot to order from. The prices aren't too high, good servings size and decent food. We usually order the curries - favs include butter chicken, chicken saag, garlic naan and samosas. It's a pretty decent, affordable spot to order from.

Steven A.

Yelp
Not the best Indian ever but also not the worst. Ordered the tandoori chicken and it was severely over cooked. Not saying I like my chicken medium rare or anything, but it's not imperative to dry this bird out so much. The choley was good and paired well with the naan. As for the naan, it was nothing to write home about. Also ordered 3 different naans and received the exact same naan 3 times. All in all, go here if you're in a pinch but there are better options elsewhere for me.

Mark C.

Yelp
Accepts both cash and credit card. They also are utilizing DoorDash, an online delivery service. We did use doordash for this order. My review will be on the restaurant and not the service by doordash. We ordered from here as we drove past it a few times when we are in the area. We were craving for some Indian food and wanted to give this place a try. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and another lamb dish (can't remember the title). We also ordered their veggie samosa. For starters, their veggie samosa was nice and crispy. Comes with two types of sauces to make the experience more interesting. The samosa were packed in a brown bag, but was not sealed. To management, Consider closing the bags to prevent dust / particles from entering the bag. We then went and ordered two types of curry dishes (1 spicy and 1 non spicy). Both appeared to be very similar. To be perfectly honest, I was not impressed with their entrees. Felt like the quantity for the price was not worth it. The meat was quite small and it was mostly just sauce / curry in the takeout trays. Their entree comes with rice. The tray for the rice was small and spilled in the bag due to the packaging box being too small with gaps letting rice to escape. Can't comment much on customer service as my experience was strictly take-out. Overall, I give this place a 3 star. The food was okay, sorta pricey. In terms of the quality, the food was a bit pricey for what you get. If you are craving for any Indian food, this place is okay. There are a wide variety of options in the MoCo area.

Brett M.

Yelp
Ordered from Uber Eats the other day. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but the Chicken Tikka Masla was very sweet and I was expecting something more savory. The prices were good, and the Naan tasted good as well.

Rumit P.

Yelp
I ordered food last night from Methi Indian and Nepalese Cuisine for pickup. The restaurant is a bit tricky to find if you've never been there before. Google Maps makes things very confusion. What you want to do is park in the parking lot with the 7-11 and the El Sabor Latino Bakery, and then walk around to University Boulevard. The signage isn't very bright or big, but I found it once I was at the corner of Georgia Avenue and University Boulevard. The interior is pretty bare but the ambiance of a mostly to-go place doesn't bug me as long as the food is very good. And the food was very good indeed! I ordered garlic naan ($2.95), chicken tikka masala ($12.95), and chicken wrap ($7.95). I asked for the two chicken dishes to be spicy, and they were just the right spice level. Both were made with fresh white chicken breast. The wrap was a bit messy but extremely tasty, chock full of flavor, and seasoned just right. The tikka masala was also very good, a great portion size, and came with a good helping of plain rice. The garlic naan was not too buttery, was decently priced, and tasted fresh. I intend to return and am glad to have found a new Indian place on the way home from work.

Yelp
Came here relatively late in the night after 8pm. We were starving because our friends car broke down at the gas station across the street. I got the tandoori chicken and naan to go. The portion was pretty big. The food tasted pretty good and we were happy with every thing we had to eat. I would come back here again. The price of the food is good especially for the amount of food you get. The place did not have any seating because of the coronavirus. There was no seating outside because it is on a busy road.

Spike F.

Yelp
I eat Indian food everyday and take authenticity very serious. As you can see my butter chicken looks perfect. It tasted perfect as well. This is the only Indian restaurant I will eat at in Maryland

Stephanie P.

Yelp
The very spicy vindaloo is amazing!! Extremely flavorful and delicious. If you enjoy spicy food o highly recommend

Rachel H.

Yelp
This lockdown had me craving Indian food. In hopes of supporting local business we reached out to Methi via Ubereats for dinner tonight. I didn't mind the wait time considering the current situation, but we did wait about an hour and ten minutes (we live about 15 minutes away). The paneer ($14) was basically 15 small chucks in tomato soup. I was shocked how sweet and watery this dish was I wouldn't order it again and I wouldn't recommend it. The nan was placed on foil in the bag but was not covered or in a container. With the on going health concerns I didn't even both eating it. I would've preferred it wrapped completely or cut to fit inside a container. The Parmesan fries were honestly horrible. Soggy and no flavor. Long strips of cheese were at the bottom of the tiny bag. I understand we got the order delivered which could have been the issue (and the fact that we ordered fries from an Indian restaurant) but never again. The butter chicken was the only thing worth getting but having spent $44 on dinner I really have no intention of returning to this restaurant.

John L.

Yelp
It ain't fancy, but the food is very good. Authentic cuisine, friendly staff. Simple, straightforward menu.

Yelp
Tried this place for carryout for my family for first and now last time, think it was in June. They asked for samosas and it was convenient to stop there. It's been there a long while which usually means people like it. Hard to understand why this place is still open. It's clearly a takeout joint primarily, but there are tables. While waiting for someone to emerge and take orders, I saw a kitchen worker use the dirty bathroom where there was no soap in the dispenser and no towels, and then return to the kitchen, but did not wash hands in any visible sink there. Worse, I could see an open package of commercial frozen samosas. Would have maybe left, but it was late and I knew I didn't have anything at home for everyone. Ordered a chicken dish that came recommended by the party in front of me, samosas and a lamb dish. Also tried mango lhassies. Lhassies were served from a mini fridge in the front by the cash register. They had a too bright orange color and foamy looking film on them after having been in the fridge for a while. Brought food home and it was all terrible. You can get decent frozen samosas, but these were tiny, greasy and bland. The lamb could only be described as turd-like overdone little balls, maybe 7 of them, on an enormous pile of bland rice. The chicken was very skimpy in a brown kind of oily gravy that was somewhat flavorful, meaning only that it had some unexpected spice to it, so only two of us ate it, and we are the ones who had diarrhea after the meal. Go figure.

Meghan Q.

Yelp
I've gotten take out twice and both times its been GOOD. I always get confused when I'm ordering the naan about how many pieces you get per order (I think its one large naan cut in half or quarters, but I'm still not sure) so sometimes I end up with all the extra naan--and that's not a bad thing. I've used Methi to introduce friends to indian food before, and when you're feeding a crowd the servings are more than generous enough to allow for seconds and leftovers. The price is definitely reasonable for the amount of food that you get. I'll be honest, I haven't strayed too far from the daal or chana masala as old favorites, but the butter chicken and chicken tika masala never have leftovers, no matter how much we order.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Grabbed the lunch special at Methi after passing it for months. The special - two options and rice for like $7 and $1 for naan. Or something like that. It was good - solid - but not the number one place I have ever been. It's a simple carry out (few tables in there) sort of place. I got some chickpeas (good but spicier than I prefer) and butter chicken which was pretty yummy! The naan was fantastic. Now here's the bad news... while I sat there eating in a nearly empty restaurant, I enjoyed the sounds of someone coughing and hacking from the kitchen. Sigh. Let's all hope they washed their hands and covered their mouth.

Heather W.

Yelp
Pretty good Indian food at a good price. Not the best but not bad, and some of the only in the area. Very small dining room, I think it's mostly take out. Limited parking in rear.

Kate P.

Yelp
The worst experience I've ever had at an Indian restaurant, and I don't write low rating reviews lightly. I used Uber Eats to order my delivery from Methi and I have to say the ONLY pleasant experience about this order was the delivery method. Kudos to Uber Eats. For the amount of money I paid for this meal, I am horrified. My order of lamb chop tandoori had barely ANY lamb meat on it. It was so charred that between the spices it was cooked in and the blackened, crunchy, meat, it was full of disappointment. When I called to complain, I explained that I had three chops and each had MAYBE one bite of meat on them, being generous. I was then told by Sam that normally an order is only supposed to have two lamb chops. The only compensation for my displeasure, aside from being told that I actually received more that normal (how sad!) was that I could get an extra chop next time I ordered there. Next time I order there?! They're daft to think I'll ever order from this place again. The pakora appetizer was dry and the goat curry was decent, but none of it was worth a trip back. Honestly, paying my most recent parking ticket was a better use of my money than buying this meal.

Kajal M.

Yelp
Such bad food! I got a very bad stomachache after having their rice! I believe it was stale. Shahi paneer was just curry with so less paneer.. i can't even! Would never get food from here again! Huh

Angel G.

Yelp
I got momos and chwela. Sadly, these were the saddest tasting momos I've ever tried. It had no flavor, the achar/sauce was extremely water down, the wrap was thick and mostly broken to pieces. But I'm mostly bummed about the sauce which is supposed to bring all the flavors together, and rather the sauce here was just boiled tomatoes and salted. I literally had to make my own sauce at home. Also, the portions were pretty small like you can see in the pictures. Chwela seemed a little stale and poorly spiced. I can't believe I paid almost $40 for this (including delivery and tip). The only reason I give 2 stars instead of one is because my food got delivered pretty fast.

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Food is really good and not super expensive. Perfect for picking up good Indian food on your way home. Eating area is small so if you plan to dine in, don't expect a full scale sit down restaurant setting.

Quijana B.

Yelp
While it is wonderful to have an Indian restaurant in the area, I really wish that it wasn't one aimed at the take-out crowd. I'd love to have just a few more seats and a more welcoming atmosphere. They are new, and time will tell, but I have a feeling that there won't be any changes for a while. I parked in the absurd parking lot and walked down the stairs into the counter/dining area. 16 chairs, a handful of tables, and absolutely no customers sitting and enjoying their food greeted me. There were a few people waiting, but no one eating. I ordered the lunch special, chaat samosas, and naan. Far too much food for one person, so I didn't blink when the cashier assumed that my order was to go. It was enough for me for two meals, so I simply canceled my dinner plans and enjoyed what I had. The curry was good, though a bit bland. I might try something from the menu next time . The naan was huge, and served directly from the oven. My fingers and tongue burned, but my tastebuds were happy.and mostly immune to the heat.

Raj S.

Yelp
Nice customer service. Appetizers are the best. We tried their samosas and chicken momos. Masala chai is delicious. Perfect location. Right on the main road. Do park behind the restaurant although it is a very tight parking.

Muriel H.

Yelp
I've been craving Indian food for about a week now but with the COVID restrictions I can never remember when places closed since a lot of businesses are operating at an adjusted time. Anyway for dinner, my husband and I decided that we wanted to place an order online and saw that Methi was open until 11! Perfect. I called them and the gentleman on the phone was so kind and happy to help me place my order for delivery. I got butter chicken, garlic naan, goat curry, lamb biryani and vegetable samosas. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! They give you such a good helping of food that it fed us for 3 days! Every dish had such rich aromas and flavor with just the right amount of spice that I was happy (i love spicy food!) and my husband was able to handle the spice! I will be ordering again soon...there are additional items on their menu that have piqued my interest and taste buds!

Summer S.

Yelp
-Updating review and downgrading to three stars. I ordered delivery. Not only did it take awhile to arrive but the food quality was not what I remember from my take-out orders (June 2018)- One of the few vegan options in the Wheaton area and a great value at about $20 for two meals worth of food. Although I ate it all in one go! Clean plate club member. I placed a pick-up order for my first time eating here as I was on my way to the movies nearby. The bowls ended up being too full to attempt sneaking them into the theater! I ate in my car so as not to spill the huge serving everywhere. Really enjoyed the vegetable samosas (yes, they're vegan!). Crunchy pastry on the outside while still soft and chewy on the inside with a good amount of filling. The vegan Jhanne Ko Daal was yum and filling but incredibly hot. I had to wait about 30 minutes for it to be an edible temperature. I requested medium spice level but detected none so I'll try asking for spicy next time. The rice was cooked perfectly. The interior of the restaurant is sparse and it seems geared towards take out but that's OK. The happy hour drink specials are good so if you don't need a fancy ambiance you may be satisfied to eat-in. The counter service was friendly and helpful to the person ahead of me; she had tons of questions about what the different menu options were and the server patiently explained them. And my food order was ready early.

Aria L.

Yelp
So gross. The rice pudding was yellow/brown, WATERY, and had little to no rice in it. rice pudding is supposed to be a thick, white creamy pudding with rice! ew. the chicken byriani had some brown/grey pieces of chicken! took a few bites then realized that the chicken is definitely gone bad. this can get people sick!!!!!!!!!

Dan C.

Yelp
It's not good. Food is sweet. Surprised when ordered based on grub hub reviews. Should have checked google first. Food arrived timely and as ordered. Looked really good. Unfortunately can't get away from the sweet taste. If you like sweet Indian food this is your place.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Decent Indian food served in a very spartan atmosphere; not certain the food warrants the price.

Jeff B.

Yelp
First the food ... wonderful even when delivered! Never had Nepalese chow mein before but it was delish. (It wasn't on any menu I saw in katmandu. I suspect it is as Nepalese as chicken chow mein is Chinese !) so very creative. ! The butter chicken and chicken Marsala were very good and as expected but ya gotta try the chick pea side dish . Yummy. Bindi masala is a family fav and this didn't disappoint. The delivery was quick and smooth. On time & hot. We were so impressed we look forward to going to the restaurant ... particularly. October 2019 ... 10 mons later ... one review is NOT enough! Again great service , wonderful food AND ez delivery! This is our 'go to place' for Indian . Bindi masala for me and the gang loves the butter chicken and fancy nans! !!

Opie M.

Yelp
Methi brings punjabi delights to Wheaton, Excellent service, Intimate place, did not expect China and silverware. Nice fluffy crispy samosas, butter chicken made with fresh chicken breast, sauce was sweet and could have been thicker and spicier for me. The butchery alone made this more enjoyable then any of the places in Langley Park. Very friendly and happy to tweak anything to your liking. No more all you can eat lunch buffet

Stacy A.

Yelp
I was excited when I read all the positive reviews, but honestly I was a bit disappointed on a couple of levels. First of all, the take out portions were significantly smaller than I have ever received from an Indian takeout. Usually a dish will last at least two meals, but this time it was barely enough for one meal. The rice was great but we barely got any! The chicken tikka masala had large chunks of onions and green peppers; I'm not sure if that is traditional or not but I have never seen the dish served that way and I didn't care for the strong green pepper taste. The butter chicken was pretty good but a bit sweet for my taste.

Michelle L.

Yelp
I ordered food for carry out. I arrived a few minutes before my order was ready. I was watching them prepare the food. I witnessed the man reaching in to the rice pot with his bare hand to scoop out some rice to add to a dish. I will never eat from there after seeing that. So unsanitary

Hillary F.

Yelp
I do not typically leave review, but my experience was so bad, I had to leave one here. 1. I ordered on door dash. The restaurant mixed up the order somehow and another driver got it. They had to remake our order, forcing the original driver to wait for 30 minutes. 2. Ordered the tikka masala. The chicken was super dry and the curry was very watery and sweet. 3. The naan did not taste fresh. 4. The mango chutney was too thick, not creamy and yogurty. Overall, poor experience. I will not be ordering from here again.

Kayla M.

Yelp
Very dry, oily, not worth the price. Parking was a pain in the ass good luck. Tow trucks sit in the parking lot that is jammed packed with cars good luck

Annie L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! So glad they finally opened an Indian restaurant in the Wheaton area now they have everything! Prices are fair for the serving size. We called in for carry out. My husband was never really a fan of Indian food because of past experiences, but ever since we tried this place out he loves Indian food! We ordered the Tikka masala, buttered chicken, tandoori chicken, and this cauliflower dish, Aloo goobi. We requested no rice and they offered garlic naan as substitute for no charge. This will be our go-to place from now on for Indian food, highly recommended!

Nick N.

Yelp
I've read the posts about how sweet the food is at Methi. I was hoping that the management at Methi are reading these posts and updating their recipes. Sadly they haven't. Their butter chicken was sweet. We also ordered lady fingers and that was swett too. The only thing I enjoyed from what I ordered was the paratha, but without a good sauce what good is a paratha? I hope management reads this and updates their recipes. I love Indian food and it'll be sad if we loose Methi because they don't know how to listen to their customer feedback.

Mike W.

Yelp
I had been getting notifications for weeks about this place based on the reviews. We were a little too late to make it to Seoul Food, my friend and I decided to cross the street and give it a shot. We're not connoisseurs, but we've had our fair share of Indian food in the DC area. I think we were both a little underwhelmed by this place, unfortunately. We got the Saag Paneer and Butter Chicken and a side of garlic Naan. The Saag had congealed on top and had a film, which was not very appetizing, and it was pretty bland and lacking the richness I have come to expect from the dish. The paneer didn't do much for it either. The butter chicken was, oddly so, very very very red. But the flavor was nice, buttery and sweet. The chicken was tender and tasted fresh. It was a little sweeter than I would normally like, but a pretty good dish nonetheless. Definitely not my favorite in the area though, by a long stretch. The staff is very nice and accommodating and we were there an hour before they closed so we had the whole place to ourselves. As other reviewers have mentioned, its a no frills kind of spot. A take out restaurant that also does table service. That didn't really bother two guys just looking for a bite to eat before the city closes down. They do serve beer, wine and maybe liquor, so that was a big plus. They even have Kingfisher, an Indian beer. Prices were ok. Its about 10-15/entree. We paid about $36 for two beers, two entrees and a side of garlic naan. Ill probably try this place again but only if I want Indian food very close-by. It could have been off because it was late at the end of the day, maybe lunch is a better time.

Lizzie S.

Yelp
Ordered through door dash adding an additional $10 in fees and tip to my order with high hopes. Vegetable samosas: best thing in the order, a good amount of spice and cooked well, not too greasy. Garlic naan: burnt on the bottom and falling apart. Once I removed the burnt parts the taste was good but since I only got one piece, disappointing that it was in such poor condition Chana masala: ordered "medium" spice, it was pretty average and not spicy Palak paneer: probably the most disappointing was puréed to the level of baby food with no discernible pieces of spinach, the cheese was hard and the flavor sub par. Overall an average meal, trouble is each entree order comes with a lot of food, so now I have lots of average leftovers. Very skimpy with the two sauces that come with the naan - tiny containers not even filled to top. To restaurant: offer a veggie combo so guests can try all the vegetarian choices

Mark F.

Yelp
Enjoyed our experiences thus far, a solid choice for Indian in the Wheaton area! Very humble shop, but they've yet to disappoint! We've ordered take out and we have experienced there weekend buffet. It's small buffet, 3-4 dishes, it has tikka masala, naan, tandoori chicken, samosa, gulab jamun, so what more do you need?? Not gonna lie, I turned my nose up at one of their Curry's with, what looked to be, canned green beans, but my goodness, I've never eaten so many green beans. It was delicious. They've won my trust, so I'm happy to explore their other menu items. They're the only Indian spot as of right now in the area, and I think they're trying to grow to meet the increasing demand, so be patient with them. It's worth it! We've never done delivery, only eat in or carry out.

Yelp
The food was very tasteless to say the least. Which is very interesting, because I've used this place in the past for catering for 2 different events. And the food was AMAZING. Butter chicken literally taste like chicken in some type of water down sauce. I was looking forward to my Indian food dinner, and was very unhappy. Will never order this place again.

Yelp
Really bad food but it's the closest Indian place to my house. This place is horrible. I have been here about 4 times, and they have messed up my order three of those four times. Last time, I asked them if they had Kadhai Paneer, owner said.. "it's not on the menu, but I can make it for you." One of the worst kadhai paneer's I've ever had in my life. Flavorless, and tasted stale. I've tried most of the vegetarian dishes here, all of them taste really bad. Stay away if you're looking for decent Indian food. Drive up to Rockville for better options.

Yelp
I recently visited this restaurant from a recommendation on GrubHub because I was seriously craving some Indian food. I ended up ordering a chicken tikka masala and an order of butter chicken with a side of garlic naan. When I went to pick up my food, I was immediately greeted by a nice young gentleman who had my food ready. I have been looking for an Indian restaurant in the Wheaton/Glenmont area and I'm happy that this place opened up. It's in the same shopping center as 7-11 and Pollo Rico. Let's get into the food: The chicken tikka Marsala was good. I little heavy on tomatoes but still had excellent flavor and heat. The butter chicken was delicious nice NFL new of sweetness and butter. I also got a decent serving of rice with both entrees but both dishes tasted best with the yummy garlic naan. The serving sizes were adequate for the prices charged ($11.95 for each dish plus rice). I will definitely be coming back to check out their lunch specials and other offerings on the menu.
