Metro Cafe

Surprisingly cute cafe in a motel with delicious food. French toast with fruit, and Japanese fried chicken sandwich pictured. The chicken was juicy with a wonderful crispy skin. Served on a brioche bun with amazing slaw, and I will add that I don’t like slaw on the best of days. I’m keeping a star off because service was very slow but definitely recommend and will be back

My boyfriend and I were very impressed by this tiny restaurant. We passed by to get some pancakes (which were huge and fluffy) and ended up ordering Avocado toast as well (that was also equally delicious). For it being a small Cafe attached to a hotel, I was pleasantly surprised and overall enjoyed my experience. If I was staying at this hotel, I would be happy for this to be my breakfast.

Pleasant surprise, small quaint Cafe under a hotel on a quiet street off Sepulveda. Street parking available. Indoor and outdoor seating. The one minor negative is the lack of seating which might cause delays on peak days.

We came here because it was right next to our hotel, expecting average cafe food items. It was a HUGE surprise when our food came gorgeously served. Best tasting French toast and excellent pancakes. Worth a visit, especially on a weekday morning as it was not crowded at all.

A must place to visit. Food is exceptional. Service is courteous and professional. Good wine list. Nice brunch. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed. Stop by and enjoy this place when you can. A definite recommend.

Honestly this is the best breakfast ive had in LA to this date. Nothing but fresh food and savoring flavor that lasts after every bite. Would love to go back. I landed from my seasonal travels and went straight there. I travel a lot so I’ll be headed back for sure.

Food here is fantastic! We had the house special banana pancakes which had the perfect texture as well as combination of salty and savory. Very large portion The soup de jour was a butternut squash and was perfect for the season Service is a bit slow and they had said the kitchen was overwhelmed. Otherwise pleasant to sit outside and would come back

Food and service was excellent. Every dish being brought out to other tables looks so good you wish you had ordered that also. They do the thin sliced potatoes on the flat top so they get crispy on the outside, almost impossible to do at home. I will definitely be going back.
