So far, everything that I've Ordered has been absolutely delicious. Although the diner was very busy, there was no wait to be seated. Food was served about 12 minutes after we ordered & it was fresh & hot!!Not bad for a busy restaurant in Vegas! Shrimp & grits was very good- grits are caked 😋😋😋 with white creamy sauce, bacon pieces, peppers& onions. Not sure whose great great grandma was back there cooking, but the fried chicken was A1 (12⭐'s) !!!Best in Vegas so far. The Cinnabon pancake was great (5⭐). Chicken & waffles (10⭐). The French dip sandwich was delicious, but I would have liked my bread toasted. .still the best & tenderest beef sandwich that I've ever had! The service was impeccable! I didn't care for the flavored coffee(too strong for me), but they still deserve a 5star rating!

Great ambiance and very welcoming. Definitely a great place for families and yet cozy enough for just 2. I would consider this place an mid-scale diner with a spin on classic dishes. Service was just right...not too clingy yet always close enough to be called on. We ordered the chicken and waffles, - which was definitely the star of the show - the yohala (stuffed french toast), and the San Fransisco breakfast sandwich (with bacon). Everything was delicious!

This place was great. From the moment walked in the door. Smell was so yummy, service was fast and fire fly. And the Holy Davoli Burger oh my... Yummy Goodness. Will be going back for sure...

Great food. Very filling and the staff will brighten up your morning. Not to management please have a safe of eggs. Will come back often still. Casual dining.

Well, decided to try this place due to the great reviews. Maybe it was the server (Kelly) or it was an off day for the kitchen. Not a good experience overall. I ordered the Monte Crisco with salad and partner ordered Metro Club with French fries. Negative: 1. Waitress forgot to give the kitchen part of our order. Meaning I never received my salad. 2. Watress forgot to bring the preserves that went with the Monte Crisco. 3. Waitress did not inform us of how to pay when we completed our meal. We sat there then figures you paid up front. Nope! The waitress was supposes to secure the payment. Positive: 1. The manager came by during the meal to try and ensure a pleasant experience. 2. I was offered an alternative to the salad. I really wanted the salad but nice try. Reason for the three stars was decent food (fries not cooked completely), manager trying and staff was friendly.

Visited Metro Diner because my brother wanted chicken and waffles. It was very busy, but surprisingly just after a few minutes we were sat. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. The food is unbelievable. All the foods are well portioned and flavorful, especially for the price. One of us ordered the most popular dish, chicken and waffles, and it's definitely a star. We also got the special fried chicken benedict with chorizo gravy and it was unreal. Service was good, they are very accommadating and friendly. I will say, given how busy it was, it seemed the staff had some issues communicating amongst each other. Also took longer than anticipated to receive extra silverware but overall these small things were outshined by the food, overall service, and atmosphere.

This place is awesome. Nice staff and big portions for the price. I got the blackened chicken and my husband got the stuffing waffle with turkey.
