Two stars so this isn’t deleted!! My disabled mother was followed around by a random security guard and he refused to tell her why. When she spoke to the manger he said “I’m Italian so we aren’t racist here” yeah, okay… STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE POC!

I found a TOO GOOD TO GO bake goods at Metro. The store is much smaller than other metros. The Bake Goods had pretty good reviews, so I had high expectations. The value for money exceeded my expectations. The cheese bagels were especially good and I will be going to Metro for bagels in the near future.

Clean grocery store with decent selection. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning, no lines for the cashier. Staff are friendly as well.

The woman at Deli was very rude to me. She didn’t even help me. I was talking to her politely but she was too rude and looks like she is tired doing this job. Please help her find a good job.

One of the greatest places I come here twice a week, the people that I interact with its always nice and kind, I met up with the manager regarding couple question and he took his time to explaining me, … overall a great shopping experience, pretty close to my house, sad they are in front of COMPASS theft it’s and issue since then… and that’s why they have security’s moving around and I think it’s perfect. As a brown foreigner myself, I’ve noticed something you don’t see everywhere: diversity. I enjoy interacting with people, and in this store they employ Polish, Ukrainian, Filipino, Chinese, Latino, people of color, Indian, and Muslim staff. That’s why when I read that comment saying they’re racist, I knew it was the most false thing you’ll ever read. You know who you are the ones using racism as an excuse…

Finally lost patience with Metro. This store just doesn't do the details well - you frequently find items on the shelves long past expiry. They can't label Canadian products accurately, either. I've pointed out these issues to staff several times, but it never seems to improve - it seems like they just can't be bothered to get it right. Lots of competition in the neighborhood. I suggest you go elsewhere. I certainly will.

Worst pizza I've ever had from any of the Metros in Mississauga. First I called the store to place an order only to learn the clerk was on break and told to call back in 10 mins. So from my car 10 mins later I called. Had a pleasant exchange of words with the pizza clerk . Had to alter my order because this location didn't carry grilled chicken which I was surprised by. Placed my altered order to ham bacon strips and onions...asked for extra cheese so it would stick. While discussing my order with said clerk asked to verify location. I asked for confirmation of Lakeshore and southdown store because I usually order from Sheridan mall but they ran out of cheese that day. She replied Lakeshore Metro. I then again said southdown? Because I am coming from square one area. She said yes. I had to stop and get gas so asked for a 20 min delay. Drove to the Lakeshore & Southfown location to look into a confused and bewildered face of some kid who didn't have my pizza and couldn't even confirm the number for the store. So I called the last number I called and explained my situation to customer service at Metro. They seemed surprised and understood my frustration. I was late for a friendly gathering and now I'm expected to come to cawthra for a pizza! She patched me through to the pizza person. When I told her that she misinformed me she insisted that she didn't and gave plenty of attitude. I was going to cancel at this point because I was disgusted by her behavior except I'm a person of integrity and people were expecting this pizza. I arrive. We locked eyes. No words were exchanged. I should have checked the pizza but if I had I would have probably thrown her sloppy work back into her face. The pizza was burnt and greasy on the bottom and had a big burn hole in the center. It was also cold! We tried to eat it but couldn't. Not fit for the composer! A wasted $15.00!

This Metro grocery store is one of the smaller ones I have shop at though it has everything like any other Metro store.
