"As a partner agency operating a client-choice pantry in Carrollton, this nonprofit replaced its grocery-style shopping model with a parking-lot drive-thru command center under tents to safely distribute large boxes of staples—canned goods, peanut butter, fresh produce—to thousands of families each week, expanding from about 40 families a day pre-pandemic to roughly 300 carloads daily. To preserve dignity and meet needs for clients who can’t drive, staff and volunteers make weekly home deliveries to seniors and others; the organization is also planning a larger permanent headquarters and aims to implement a hybrid system that restores indoor client-choice for some patrons while retaining drive-thru access for high-risk groups." - Amy McCarthy

I used to go to a different food bank. Since i've been coming to metrocrest.The people here are phenomenal.They really care about what they do.And it shows and how they treat us. I believe these people here really love the lord and love what they do. This is by far the best food bank and place to get help with other things. Such as homelessness, mental illness and so forth.. If you need help of any kind come to metrocrest, they will help you any way they can

Metrocrest has been a very large part in giving me confidence in moving forward with my life. Metrocrest has helped me get financially stable by paying my rent and paying for my dentures. Metrocrest has also helped me by getting me shoes for work. Which I would have never been able to do on my own. They have helped me with job search. Which I now have a job. They have given me Financial coaching which has helped me to save money for my future and hopefully be able to find a place of my own. Their food pantry has kept me from being hungry. Beatrice, my advocate, has been a very big part in giving me confidence and financial stability. Beatrice is a very sweet young lady who is very compassionate and truly cares for the people in the community. If it weren't for Metrocrest and Beatrice, I wouldn't be where I am today. I now look forward to my future. Thank you Metrocrest!

This place only serves the Hispanics. It was immediately obvious, as the front desk attendant only spoke Spanish and refused to answer my simple question of "what services are provided here". If you are not Hispanic, please do not waste your time here.

Wow! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Metrocrest Services! They provide such comprehensive service to families in our community. I love their business model that seeks to support all the needs of a family in one organization from food assistance to support with rent and utilities, and workforce development. The staff here is phenomenal and they have incredible leadership that is both business savvy, selfless and service oriented. They have worked hard, tirelessly, to serve in this time of need. I have so much respect for Tracy and Nicole, Mike and Charlie, Victoria and Debbie and all the staff who generously work to make our corner of the world a better place 💙
