Metropol Palace Hotel Belgrade

Avoid this hotel at all costs. I had an extremely disturbing experience involving the presence of a drone hovering just one meter away from my window, filming inside my room with flashing lights on a Sunday evening at 10:30 p.m., while my curtains were open. The staff were dismissive of my complaint, despite the fact that other guests also reported the drone’s presence. This is a clear violation of privacy. Although I reported the incident twice and was told that my complaint had been taken into consideration, no manager ever contacted me, and no compensation was offered during my stay. After a lengthy discussion with a staff member named Aleksandra, I understood that the drone was operating with the hotel’s approval and that a contract had even been signed with the company responsible. However, no explanation was provided regarding the reason for its presence. Furthermore, after staying at this hotel three times, I can confidently say that it does not meet five-star standards. To make matters worse, the following evening we were unable to dine at the hotel restaurant because it had been fully booked for a corporate event. The staff did not offer to arrange an alternative dining option within the hotel, as one would expect from a five-star establishment. As for the room, cleanliness lacks attention to detail. My shower had an unpleasant odor, and during a previous stay, used towels with hair on them were still on the floor when I first entered the room. Never again.

On paper, this may be a 5-star hotel, but in reality it feels more like a 4-star property. It is definitely time for a renovation. That said, everything else was great. The staff were professional and friendly, and the rooftop restaurant is by far the highlight of the hotel — truly the best feature they have.

A good hotel we're still learning it after one night here but it's extremely well located, we even had food options nearby at 11 PM and the room was very clean and big we booked the Junior suite for around 130 usd per night on a midweek deal, it seems like the regular rooms were also a good option if you want to save some money. The flooring on the shower has seen some better days it does look like the floor has been cleaned but it was stained with some permanent residue. The conditioner bottle was also inoperable, we will ask for a fix tomorrow. Small things like this and the fact that we had one shower robe in the room for a reservation of 2 in a suite made me give the room a score of 4 out of 5. Also if you are a light sleeper note that even on the 9th floor you can hear traffic outside. It's not too loud but this is a hotel on a very main road in Belgrade. We had some time in the spa and gym. The pool was OK there aren't many chairs and it's mostly for people who do swimming laps due to it's build structure, the jacuzzi was small and the jets are too strong in the center so you will get water streams in your face most of the time. There is also not enough seats in the jacuzzi, as 2 sides are without seating it can hold maybe 4 people. They have a well equipped gym and there's also sports sessions, mostly pillatis, and to attend costs an extra 11 euros per session I Attached a photo of the sessions for my week during February. Also, The room is too dark during night time so bring a prtable gadget light if you have one. The staff is extremely kind. It's costs us 2100 RSD / 20 USD to get to the hotel from the airport via ride share, normal taxi was 2400 so not a big saving on that front. All in all I think we will have good time here for the rest of out nights. Edit - score went up from 3 to 4: The hotel staff contacted us and fixed some of the issues including the missing bath robe, we also had a great breakfast and I added the photos for that too. Some people complained on other reviews that the coffee machine doesn't work, I can confirm that as of this morning it does work. We also got a bottle of wine from the hotel staff as a courtesy (we didn't ask for anything) and we are greatfull for their kindness.

Dear Team, I’d like to share some feedback about a recent stay at Metropol Palace Belgrade. I had prepaid a separate room for my guest. We were informed that the key would be handed directly to the registered occupant, but this did not happen. When I came to the front desk to help resolve the situation, I was told that the team was busy and it could not be handled at that moment. For a five-star hotel, I expected a smoother and more attentive check-in experience, especially in a situation that could have been resolved quite easily. The issue was eventually sorted out, but only after additional effort on our side. Later that evening, we found a letter of apology in the room, which was appreciated. However, the overall experience felt less service-oriented than one would expect from a hotel of this level. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps improve the arrival experience for future guests.

had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was excellent, from the cleanliness and comfort to the overall atmosphere and service quality. Special thanks to Kristina Jevtic for their outstanding support, professionalism, and warm hospitality. Vojislav Sremcevic, the Restaurant Manager, deserves special appreciation. He was extremely polite, respectful, and highly professional, and his attention to detail truly enhanced the dining experience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose this hotel again

The room was on the smaller side. Hit as heck. Didn’t get below 25,5 degrees our entire stay even with windows open and or small portable fan. They said nothing to be done bc of central heat yet the hallways and common areas don’t make you sweat. I didn’t like this at all. Shower doesn’t drain properly. Breakfast was varied but really not good. Low quality tasting meats, dry eggs. Lots of veggie options which was nice but pastries and bread flavorless and or hard. The Greek/ Serbian salad was terrible. They left the seeds in the cut up peppers for example. Cheese flavorless. Coffee was also very bad. I haven’t tried the spa yet but I’d honestly stay elsewhere if we returned. We did not try the Michelin recommended restaurant due to the breakfast quality.

Amazing breakfast. Great location. Definitely very good value for money. The parking is underground and accessible only by elevator and that slows the process of in and out of the parking in general. As well as the parking is not cheap. Overall very good place downtown of Beograde that deserves the money. Just be aware of the inconvenience of the parking.

Metropol Palace Belgrade is an elegant and comfortable hotel with a great location. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is professional and friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. Special thanks to the Guest Relations team for their warm hospitality and excellent support throughout the stay. A great choice for both business and leisure trips.
