Despite a very busy Saturday evening, they still delivered! Best fish tacos I've had in a while. Everything was fresh and presented well. Saw the owner rolling up his sleeves and taking tables. Bartender (who was new) was awesome. Everything about this place is all passion

My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered a margarita, Pacifico, queso, and 5 different tacos. The bartender was so nice and helpful! He made me a margarita that was made fresh. The food came out in a timely fashion and everything was delicious. Loved our 5 tacos and queso! My favorite was the white fish taco, and my husband loved the brisket one. We will definitely be back!

Went here for the first time since it switched over from the nacho place to Mexa. The host (maybe the owner) was wonderful and when he gave us the menus pointed out specials as well as his favorite dish on the menu. The food came out fast & the service was great! I really enjoyed the three tacos I got (for only $16). We will definitely be back!

Pork chicharrones tacos 10/10 Birria tacos 9/10 Carnitas tacos 8/10 Beverly yet again has another wonderful spot to check out. The bartender was super friendly! Very clean spot with authentic flavors and FANTASTIC tacos. I can't wait to come back. Only complaint, I wish the birria sauce had a littleeee more flavor to it. Other than that, great experience. Can't stop talking about the tacos.

So disappointed after reading such good reviews; we waited an hour in which time we got our appetizer and a beer, ordered our food and never saw our server again. Watched three other tables get served, and leave while we sat. Yes, the kitchen was backed up but you tell your table what’s going on, check in, maybe comp them a bowl of chips and salsa. We were totally ghosted, took our food to go after over an hour and will never go back. (Food was good, but pricey. You can do better.)

If you’re a fan of la Victoria, you’ll love this place. Same quality food, but taken up a notch. Great place for a date night or you can sit down and have a nice drink and a delicious meal. Service was lovely. Would definitely come back. I had the burrito special with steak and shrimp and french fries and it was amazing. Their side hot sauces will kick your ass.

After many moons Mexa has finally opened. My first impressions here are much better then it's predecessor. The prices are a tad high but the quality is there from what lil I tried tonight. Birria taco was delicious with a nice and chunky consume. It's national cheese burger day so I had to try the Hamburguesa Mexa with salsa secreto and it was pretty damn good. The margarita wera was also pretty tasty. Overall I'd give it a 4.5. Would love to see a taco trio combo for a lil less tho bc 20+ for 3 is a lil much imo. Other then that cool spot with a nice lil bar and friendly staff!

Loved the fish tacos. All tacos are 3 for $15. You can mix and match. My husband ordered steak tacos and enjoyed them. Street corn was tasty as well. Total came to $41 They had indoor and outdoor seating.

Mexa is a delightful addition to the Rantoul Street (Beverly MA) dining scene. Located next door to Old Planters Brewery which does not serve food, Mexa gives brewery clients a wonderful option: hearty Mexican tacos, salads, chips and salsas that are both delicious and filling. Our party of four was at Old Planters for the Thursday night Trivia games, and we were very pleased with the beef, pork, chicken, and vegetarian tacos as well as the guacamole and house made chips. Mexa is also a bar, and its small size makes it warm and friendly. The cooks are visible at one end of the building and the bar is at the other. The management is welcoming and friendly. We decided that the next time we do trivia, we will try even more of the offerings in this limited but delicious menu.
