We arrived after 9pm on a Saturday and the place was bustling. Nixon was our server very attentive and quick server. The food is so good. The chicken in the quesadilla especially tasty. The guacamole is yummy. The shrimp taco, birria tacos, alambre steak and costro polla are all good choices. Warm tortillas are served with the chorizo queso fundido is a must, so good! Great food, atmosphere and service.

Last night was so great. We enjoyed dinner at MEXA - a neighbor (same town, not next door neighbor) to us in Beverly. The food was incredible (ramen total hit!) - fast, fresh & so flavorful. The service was super friendly, attentive and wonderful. Atmosphere a 10+! We will be back again and again. Thank you Mexa for being so good at what you do. Really yummy.

We forgot how good this place is! We were there yesterday and the food was so delicious and well prepared. We left no crumbs! First time ordering the Fajitas and it was well prepared and so delicious. My partner loves the tacos and he is obsessed with the Birria Tacos. Our daughter loved the kids quesadilla and lemonade. We will be there more often. I will upload photos on our next visit!

Despite a very busy Saturday evening, they still delivered! Best fish tacos I've had in a while. Everything was fresh and presented well. Saw the owner rolling up his sleeves and taking tables. Bartender (who was new) was awesome. Everything about this place is all passion

My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered a margarita, Pacifico, queso, and 5 different tacos. The bartender was so nice and helpful! He made me a margarita that was made fresh. The food came out in a timely fashion and everything was delicious. Loved our 5 tacos and queso! My favorite was the white fish taco, and my husband loved the brisket one. We will definitely be back!

I came here in October 2025. me and 8 friends ordered a dish each. servers were nice and gave us a complimentary bowl of nachos. Unfortunately we were severely disappointed with what we were served. paying near 20USD per plate I expected a meal, but was served 2 tacos which could fit into the palm of my hand... I felt absolutely scammed. that's small for an appetiser let alone the main dish... However the food was very good. I would not eat here again considering I overpaid and underdelivered on food.

Went here for the first time since it switched over from the nacho place to Mexa. The host (maybe the owner) was wonderful and when he gave us the menus pointed out specials as well as his favorite dish on the menu. The food came out fast & the service was great! I really enjoyed the three tacos I got (for only $16). We will definitely be back!

Pork chicharrones tacos 10/10 Birria tacos 9/10 Carnitas tacos 8/10 Beverly yet again has another wonderful spot to check out. The bartender was super friendly! Very clean spot with authentic flavors and FANTASTIC tacos. I can't wait to come back. Only complaint, I wish the birria sauce had a littleeee more flavor to it. Other than that, great experience. Can't stop talking about the tacos.

Mexa is a delightful addition to the Rantoul Street (Beverly MA) dining scene. Located next door to Old Planters Brewery which does not serve food, Mexa gives brewery clients a wonderful option: hearty Mexican tacos, salads, chips and salsas that are both delicious and filling. Our party of four was at Old Planters for the Thursday night Trivia games, and we were very pleased with the beef, pork, chicken, and vegetarian tacos as well as the guacamole and house made chips. Mexa is also a bar, and its small size makes it warm and friendly. The cooks are visible at one end of the building and the bar is at the other. The management is welcoming and friendly. We decided that the next time we do trivia, we will try even more of the offerings in this limited but delicious menu.
