The 17 Best Restaurants In Allapattah

"Mexico 1810 is where you want to go for overstuffed quesadillas, chips, and micheladas. The dining room has a colorful abstract mural, canary yellow vinyl booths, and strings of papel picado hanging from the ceilings. There’s a separate bar in the back where you can sip a michelada while vibing to banda or cumbia and eating a huge pile of nachos. Desserts here tend to sell out quickly, but they have a small display of Mexican snack cakes like gansitos, which taste best after spending some time in your freezer, so take one home." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Mexico 1810 Taqueria - Review - Allapattah - Miami - The Infatuation

"Mexico 1810 is a casual spot in Allapattah serving some of the best Mexican food in the City of Miami. The dining room has a colorful abstract mural, canary yellow vinyl booths, and strings of papel picado hanging from the ceilings. There’s a separate bar in the back where you can sip a michelada while vibing to banda and cumbia music and eating the most overstuffed quesadillas we’ve ever had. It’s a good idea to come here on Monday, the one day a week when they serve gorditas. The thick corn tortillas are split open and stuffed with rich stews like chicharrón or calabacitas. Mondays are also when you can get two plates of some of Miami’s best nachos for the price of one. Desserts here tend to sell out quickly, but they have a small display of Mexican snack cakes like gansitos, which taste best after spending some time in your freezer." - Carlos C Olaechea

I love this place. You pretty much call or text to order and the food is ready in 10 minutes. Food is absolutely amazing. Prices are great. Definitely recommend this place.

We happened to drive by this place and thought it looked legit, but it's just overpriced for non authentic semi decent Mexican food in a bad neighborhood with no parking. Huge portions does not mean quality 🤷‍♀️ Happy hour tacos are $1.50 but they charge more than double regularly. Then, very conveniently, they don't show you an itemized receipt, so you have no idea what you're paying for. They just said "sign here and pick a tip." Anyone who's given this place 5 stars has never had real Mexican food.

Found this gem by chance, the food is delicious. It has a great atmosphere and the service is unmatched in the area. Do not be held back by the area, it is truly a diamond in the rough for Mexican food. Check it out with friends and family.

I went into Mexico1810 to grab a quick lunch to go. The staff at the family-run restaurant was so welcoming that I decided to dine in. To take advantage of their Taco Tuesday specials, I ordered vegetarian tacos. They came with mushrooms, spinach, avocado and optional pico de gallo, lettuce, cucumber plus more vegetable toppings available at their self-serve toppings bar. They also serve a variety of sauces and complimentary tortilla chips as an appetizer. The boss lady in charge convinced me to try some cilantro rice and refried beans on the side -- worth it! I ordered their hibiscus drink to go with my meal. The food was fresh and delicious. Wholesome, natural ingredients with delightful flavors. I was too full to order dessert, but they boss lady's son let me know they serve fried ice cream and a selection of other delicious desserts. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to returning

Huge food portions for a wonderful price. Was invited here with friends and everything was delicious. Fast service, kind people, amazing sauces. Only thing that threw me off was the mop smell but we did enter through the back so that could be why since they have cleaning products around. But Yum!! Definitely coming back.

Here for a quick one night stay in Miami before departing for a cruise and needed a good dinner. Saw the reviews and liked the pictures listed so called an Uber. We had an amazing and delicious dinner. Patty was so kind and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable. Biggest highlight was the food though! Absolutely delicious and dare to say best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything was very well cooked and seasoned. Pictures are of the taco salad and fajitas. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you so much!

As I was On my way to Checkers to fulfill my fat boy craving for a brownie Sunday I stumbled across a hidden gem called Mexico 1810 Taqueria. Man was I lucky because it was on a Tuesday and Tuesdays and Fridays they have authentic tacos for $1.81!!!!! No kidding. These tacos hit real close to home. They also have vegetarian options. Which is a win for me. It is a small quaint place and it gets busy. So service is a bit delayed. Other than that I highly recommend you to try it.
