The 17 Best Restaurants In Allapattah - Miami - The Infatuation

"Mexico 1810 is where you want to go for overstuffed quesadillas, chips, and micheladas. The dining room has a colorful abstract mural, canary yellow vinyl booths, and strings of papel picado hanging from the ceilings. There’s a separate bar in the back where you can sip a michelada while vibing to banda or cumbia and eating a huge pile of nachos. Desserts here tend to sell out quickly, but they have a small display of Mexican snack cakes like gansitos, which taste best after spending some time in your freezer, so take one home." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Mexico 1810 Taqueria - Review - Allapattah - Miami - The Infatuation

"Mexico 1810 is a casual spot in Allapattah serving some of the best Mexican food in the City of Miami. The dining room has a colorful abstract mural, canary yellow vinyl booths, and strings of papel picado hanging from the ceilings. There’s a separate bar in the back where you can sip a michelada while vibing to banda and cumbia music and eating the most overstuffed quesadillas we’ve ever had. It’s a good idea to come here on Monday, the one day a week when they serve gorditas. The thick corn tortillas are split open and stuffed with rich stews like chicharrón or calabacitas. Mondays are also when you can get two plates of some of Miami’s best nachos for the price of one. Desserts here tend to sell out quickly, but they have a small display of Mexican snack cakes like gansitos, which taste best after spending some time in your freezer." - Carlos C Olaechea

Taco Tuesday at Mexico 1810 is exactly what it should be—flavorful, festive, and seriously satisfying. From the moment the tacos hit the table, you know you’re in for something special. Warm tortillas, generously filled and perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh cilantro and onions that bring everything together just right. The meats are tender and packed with authentic flavor, and each bite tastes like it came straight from a family recipe passed down through generations. Pair that with their house salsas—ranging from mild and zesty to “oh wow, that’s got a kick”—and you’ve got a taco experience that keeps you coming back for just one more. The atmosphere on Taco Tuesday adds to the fun: lively, welcoming, and full of that unmistakable Mexico 1810 charm. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in to enjoy the evening, this is the kind of place where Taco Tuesday turns into a weekly tradition. If you’re looking for great tacos, great vibes, and a reason to celebrate the best day of the week, Mexico 1810 absolutely delivers. 🌮🎉

Delicious, good prices, good portion sizes, but took an extremely long time to place my order because an employee didn’t put in effort to overcome a very small language barrier and she chose not to put my order in the system. I waited for like 1.5 hours or something. She could have simply used Google Translator or asked someone else for help or simply slow down and communicate with me properly. 🤷‍♀️ Simple

I loved the food. It was our 1st time at 1810 so we ordered shareable’s so we can taste a bit of everything. From presentation to the speed of the food coming out and finally the taste was all exceptional. I wanted to recognize my server Liudmila she was amazing and very attentive. I always have a go to server when I dine at my local restaurants. Ask for Liudmila you won’t be disappointed. I will be back with friends and family so they can also experience 1810.

We happened to drive by this place and thought it looked legit, but it's just overpriced for non authentic semi decent Mexican food in a bad neighborhood with no parking. Huge portions does not mean quality 🤷‍♀️ Happy hour tacos are $1.50 but they charge more than double regularly. Then, very conveniently, they don't show you an itemized receipt, so you have no idea what you're paying for. They just said "sign here and pick a tip." Anyone who's given this place 5 stars has never had real Mexican food.
