Jacx & Co: Restaurants, Food, Photos, and Vendors | Eater NY

"Méxology is a casual Mexican spot from chef Ivy Stark (a former Dos Caminos and Rosa Mexicano veteran) that I found included among the food hall’s vendor openings." - Erika Adams

when we got there the atmosphere was clearly in development it’s clear that this place is on the track of the aesthetics . We placed an order on al pastor and two birria tacos with two Mexican cokes. We sat down for about 15 minutes until the first plate came out, then it took another five minutes for the other plate to come out. The alpastor tacos are like any other nothing really stood out about them. The birria tacos weren’t shut and they lacked the typical crunchiness that signify them. Outside of that they still tasted fine and wasn’t anything Outside of the ordinary. however the experience I had made me feel like I was In Any other taqueria in the GTA.But I think this place has all the power to stand out and be a high tear taco place here in Toronto. There for I would suggest coming for a quick bite.

First time trying, had the steak tacos , they were extremely well cooked and good!. They are large and flavorful. Would definitely recommend and go back.

The churros and espresso were amazing! Unfortunately the staff barely spoke any English. However they tried and at the end we got our orders. We liked the churros so much, we ended up order another one. Also the price was reasonable and the service was great. Definitely will go back to try different things next time:)

We ordered the Alambre and an agua Fresca and both were delicious . Great service and super friendly staff. Very clean too! We thought the restaurant was new but they’ve been open for years!

This spot is really nice and the staff are so friendly. I ordered the pork tacos that came with pineapple and it was pretty tasty. The portion is also huge! They make homemade tortillas that are a bit too thick for my liking and it makes it more filling. With that being said the mango agua fresca is delicious and they let us try there churros.

Food was very very good, everything was authentic Mexican food, and everything we tried was fresh and very well cook. I strongly recommend this place you will not be disappointed and portions are huge, one order or anything you get will be more than enough.

They charge GST on the receipt without including the GST number, which can make it look like a bogus tax. Card payments incur an additional fee, and they also auto-add a tip without asking if you think they deserve it. Before you know it, you're paying $25 in taxes and tips on a bill that's only $65. It's pretty abusive. What I can't deny is that the food is good, I'll give them that credit.

Portions are big but expensive. I ordered on Uber eats with the 30% off. The tacos are too soft like almost mushy. I got the asada with cactus taco and they put way too much cactus in my taco which made it slimey, I seen pictures from Google and the other person got a generous amount of beef and little bit of cactus to top it off, for me I feel like they put more cactus to cover up on the small amount of beef they gave me. Also from the other picture I seen they used a different cut of beef, they gave me some type of beef cut that the Asians would use for stir fry, if yall have the time you guys can check the photos and compare my beef taco to the other pictures. I don't like it but if you like eating mushy tacos then go here.
